    We contacted D.C. Kaufman to do a major electrical upgrade to provide for a new EV charger and conversion to heat pumps. Dave was very accommodating and patient with the many design options we were suggesting. The installation crew was excellent, the job was done on time and in a professional manner. We highly recommend and would use again.

    Third time using Kaufman and must say they are professional, quick, thorough and very nice to work with. Had them replace a kitchen light switch which was causing flickering and an outdoor flood, which didn’t work. Total time was 1 hour and results were perfect.

    We were referred to Dave when our electrician couldn’t make it out after a big storm took out a tree and pulled down our utility pole. After 4 days without power eversource put a new pole in but only ran electric from the road to our pole. They could do the last leg to our house, which goes underground from pole. Dave and his crew were here within a couple hours after I called. Since I was on a business trip, they helped out my wife and communicated everything very clearly. She raved about how nice they were! The task was to re-run the underground wires from our home to the utility pole, and rebuild the wire conduits up the pole. Excellent, timely work.

    We used DC Kaufman to install a new light fixture, which also involved putting in a new switch. Despite running into a few challenges because of our older home, the DC Kaufman crew were communicative, processional, and did a fantastic job. They also were very conscientious about observing masking/social distancing, and were careful to clean up after themselves when they were done. A great experience from start to finish, and we’ll be using them again!

    I have hired DC Kaufman Electrical for several years, with jobs ranging from small: installing a single light fixture to major: design lighting and electrical for a complete kitchen renovation; and a laundry/storage re-do, with a radiant heated floor. Dave Kaufman is an expert in radiant flooring as well as all interior and exterior lighting; installing gutter heating wires to prevent ice dams, and is current on all code regulations.DC Kaufman provides upfront and detailed estimates for ALL jobs, and there have never been any “surprises” with the final bill.DC Kaufman technicians are prompt, courteous and introduce themselves upon arrival and always put on blue boot covers before entering a home. They are respectful, answer any questions, use drop cloths and vacuum after all jobs.Marisa Lowre, the Office Manager, efficiently coordinates the jobs with the client’s schedule, and returns phone calls and emails promptly. She makes sure that clients are notified when the technicians are on their way to their home.I highly recommend DC Kaufman Electrical.
