    I’ve been using this company for over five years across multiple houses and every time they exceed expectations. The first few times I used them I would get second/third opinions and they were always the least expensive (sometimes by thousands of dollars) with amazing customer service and communication. I’ve worked with both Jordan and Kyle and both were super knowledgeable and great at explaining the best course of action. I could go on but just know you will never regret calling these guys.

    Was able to get same day service call as requested. Appointment window was provided and much appreciated. Communication was later provided to advise when technician was in route to the residence. Technician, Will, was on time. He quickly and thoroughly assessed my problem and got me back up and going with options to prevent future issues of this type. Overall great experience. Not a big fan of AI answering service.

    Well, we had our first air conditioner. Check-up today. Seems everything is working fine, and thats all thanks to uh, really cool employee Mr. Will Cavanaugh. Came to the house, change our filter out. You know, I took some pictures to make sure everything was and in working order, dont, if you have any questions call youd be right there. Thats what I talk about going above and beyond when somebody doing their job actually cares about the person. I highly recommend will as a service tech.

    Jordan arrived less than 2 hours after our call for assistance with our HVAC problem. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and even though a replacement part needed to be ordered, he offered a simple and safe workaround for temporary usage to keep the fan running in the air handler until the replacement part arrives and can be installed. Jordan was very polite and thoroughly explained the problem and the repair process. After working under the house, he brushed the debris from his clothes and shoes before coming back in the house. We really appreciated the work he did for us today. Thanks, Jordan!Jordan returned this morning to install replacement part to get the AC fully back online. Very quick and efficient. He even cleaned the AC drain line to prevent any future blockage. Were very happy with Jordan as our HVAC tech and Richs HVAC. Its good to have a local service company that knows the community and its customers!

    For the second time in less than two weeks, my air stopped working. I called Rich’s and they immediately sent out a technician, Jordan, who determined that my relay switch was bad. He replaced the switch and the switch and service call was covered under my Class C maintenance agreement. Those maintenance plans are well worth the money!! Thank you Rich’s!!

    Man…what more can I say about Will Cavenaugh with his promptness, quickness and care. He did a marvelous job when he came to check out the AC unit at our home. He was very quick in diagnosing the problem and knew exactly what he was doing to bring a solution to the problem without any unnecessary added “bells & whistles” which can be extremely costly. He even loved on our pooch after he rectified our problem! It’s impressive to have such a quality tech of Wills caliber not only understand his job, but also value the people he’s doing the job for. I don’t know if this has an effect on Wills compensation, but for all it’s worth, I’ll simply say what an asset you guys have in him…and whatever his salary currently is, he deserves more!

    Kyle came by from Riches Heating and Air. He immediately knew what the issue was with my heat pump. He was able to fully educate me on the cycles of my heat pump and how to know when there’s a problem within those cycles.I noticed how quick the company was to get someone to me even though I had to push the appointment into the next day just due to my work schedule. This is the third time I’ve used Riches Heating and Air since I’ve moved to the Jacksonville area. They are always friendly, quick to respond, do great work, informative and very affordable.This is why they are the only ones I call when I either want my units serviced or if I need a repair.     Our AC unit went out and I had researched everywhere and had literally all my local Heating and Air businesses come out to give estimates and look over our unit. The amount of terrible and sketchy businesses in operation right now is appalling. I was at my wits end when a friend recommended Richs. They had used them the last few years and had only positive interactions each time. I contacted Richs, expecting the worst since that is all I had been dealing with the lat 2 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner actually called me right back a few minutes after I called and left my info with the office. It was towards the end of the work day but Joe took the time to chat with me and we scheduled an estimate for the next day! He came out and was thorough, even more so than almost all of the previous people had been. He got an estimate to me immediately and it also was one of the most detailed ones I had received out of everyone. Pricing was reasonable and had great warranties as well!! After 2 weeks of stress I finally had a decent company to work with! They didnt give me any attitude about pulling permits, getting me copies of things I requested and continued to answer any questions I had. Unit went in fast, passed inspections and Richs team continued to be phenomenal about communicating and following up with me. Their office people that I have dealt with have been the best! Kasey is fantastic and so sweet! I look forward to the next 10 to 15 years working with Richs for the care of our new AC unit! Its so hard to find honest businesses anymore, truly got lucky finding them and Im so thankful I weeded through the rubbish til Richs was recommended!!     I always think its important to give updates on services/companies. We had our unit replaced this summer when our old one went out. I noticed this morning that the heat feature wasnt working and reached out to Richs for assistance. Tracy was sweet and helpful on the phone and I was quickly sent technician Will C. to work on sorting the problem. Will was absolutely fantastic! He was polite, friendly and reassuring. He was able to work out the hiccup with our system (an initial mistake with unit programming) and got our unit running heat just fine. It was barely a year old and it failed, yet I was charged for what I believe to be an unnecessary high change out charge for something that failed that was not my fault or neglect. If this fails again in less than a year and it might, it would be questionable as to why this is being installed again just to keep being charged a high change out bill.Frustrated!!

    Richs provided amazing service when we needed them. The initial call to coordinate a service tech was simple, easy, and they ensured my questions were answered and I knew how everything would work. The technician, Stratton, was second to none. He showed up faster than expected, listened to what the symptoms were, and went to work. He diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and was able to isolate the specific area shortly thereafter. Within an hour of him being here our AC unit was working better than wed ever seen. Stratton was friendly, professional, and educational, showing us how to conduct routine maintenance and common points of failure. Overall, if I ever need HVAC service again I am absolutely calling Richs and highly recommend them to anyone else.

    We had our heater quit on a Saturday and it was the coldest day of the year. Kyle with Richs was able to come out that day and repair the issue. It ended up being a faulty breaker to the heater strip. Kyle was friendly and knowledgeable and I was charged a fare rate for the service provided. I would highly recommend Richs.

    I live out of state and needed someone I could trust to install a new heating system for my parents. Richs kept me informed during the entire process and did an excellent job with the installation. My parents really liked the installers and are extremely happy with their new heat pump system. Richs still lets me know when they are planning a service on the system so I can make sure my parents are ready for their arrival.     We were very impressed with Macon and the whole Rich’s company! We called last night (6/13) and received a call first thing this morning (6/14) from them, asking how they could help us! I explained our issue and they assured me they could help and someone could be to our home TODAY by Lunch time! Macon showed up before lunch and was very polite and very informative! He was very thorough and very helpful. He answered all of my questions and explained things very well to where I was able to completely understand what was going on! He was able to fix our issues in a timely manner! We are very pleased and will definitely be using this company for all of our ac needs in the future! We highly recommend Macon and Rich’s heating and air!
