    We started our project with another builder and were totally dead in the water. I reached out to Luka and Sergio was on site with me the next day to discuss the build.Our project was a challenging one- we gutted an existing 1950’s stone house and added a large addition + a 2 story detached garage. Lots of technical aspects and we also had a very particular vision in mind.The Luka team listened to every request we made and always seemed willing to go the extra step. With every road block we ran into along the way, Sergio, Juan & Diego were quick to find a resolution and keep us moving forward.From a design perspective, Cecilia and Valentina were also great to work with. I had several ideas, some more fleshed out than others- and they were always willing to work so collaboratively, often times with several revisions and clearly listened to all the intricate details of my requests. The 3D renderings they provided were also SUPER helpful!I also can’t say enough about the crew they had on site day in and day out- these guys were so talented, nice and SO hard working. The special touches, -built ins and accent walls- showcase their skill, and that this home was custom built for us.Overall, my only regret is not going with Luka from the get go. They clearly care about the quality of their work and the overall satisfaction of their clients. We will be using them, along with Luka Home Services for all other projects / home maintenance items going forward.

    We recently used Luka Builders to build a new construction home in Fairfax, VA. Sergio and Cecilia are amazing and made what could have been a very overwhelming process, very smooth. Their attention to detail and communication were top notch and they went above and beyond to deliver our dream home. Sergio and his team are very professional and hardworking. Cecilia guided us through the many interior design selections to be made and brought our vision to life. We couldn’t be happier with our custom build. I highly recommend Luka Builders for all of your new construction, home renovation, and interior design needs!

    I had a truly impeccable experience with Luka Builders. I utilized them to do a very large addition to my home that included a master bedroom, closet, large bathroom, and living area. From start to finish they listened to every last one of my needs and concerns. I never thought I would say a construction company was clean- but the cleanliness during construction was next to none. They really paid attention to detail and I was grateful to get to work with them! Their design team presented options that were practical but stylish. I had to make very few tweaks and it really showcased their care for their clients! I dont plan on any more home additions, but I will certainly find ways to work with Luka in the future!     We bought an older home in Vienna Woods and was looking for a builder to build our dream, forever, custom home. We reached out to many builders but was never convinced that they were the ones to build our home. While touring one of many open houses, we visited a house that we immediately fell in love with. We loved the design, construction and finish of the house. We asked the realtor who was the builder. She told us it was Luka Builders. She gave us her card and told us that she could set up a meeting with Luka if we were interested. Needless to say, we were impressed with Luka because in a couple weeks we were in planning meetings with them. We had a vision of what we wanted our home to be and Cecilia and Sergio worked with us, guided us and incorporated their design and craftsmanship with our vision to give us a beautiful and functional home. Even though, we had changes and additions to the very end of the build, they worked with us to get the house completed so we could bring our new born baby girl into our new family home. Without apprehension, we would recommend Luka Builders for a custom home design and build or any home renovation. We are that impressed and they are that good. We even had several realtors randomly stop by to see if they could get a tour of the house. They were impressed also.

    We had a great experience with Sergio and Ceci and their teams in building of our new house. We went under a contract with them from overseas based on the floorplans only. LUKA Builders were amazing throughout the process, going above and beyond of what was required under the contract - they were highly organized and responsive in our daily interactions with them; they made the adjustments to their original plans when improvements were needed and raised certain design and construction points on their own to ensure the design and quality were consistent in the house. This is a team that cares for the quality of the homes they deliver and are dynamic and proactive in bringing improvements in the construction process. The result is a stunning home that we love and hope to enjoy for years to come!

    I contacted the husband, and wife family team at Luka Builders in Virginia City, VA for a meeting to design, and estimate the entire Project costs for doing a total renovation, of my original home. Cecilia and Sergio Hazou arrived at my home, fully prepared, and ready to talk about my family’s needs for my new dream home renovation. Their respect for my new home design was unparalleled for a newer, larger kitchen, family room, bedrooms, and bathrooms; particularly for ourselves, and our children. Cecilia, and Sergio, along with our home architect’s blueprints, designed all of my dream home’s rooms, all of which are absolutely amazing! Each of our rooms now, after the renovation, have increased size, functionality, and comfort. I am most happy with our renovation.I would highly recommend, without reservation, Luka Builders to anyone desiring a quality dream home Project.

They were eager to do the job right and were a pleasure to work with. We loved the use of their builder app - made selecting choices, invoicing, messaging a breeze!     We hired Cecilia and Sergio to renovate and upgrade our basement. They were a pleasure to work with from the start of the project. From establishing a realistic budget to making unique design suggestions, both Cecilia and Sergio were up to the task. Their crew was amazing, punctual, polite, and talented. The finished project more than met our expectations, just as Cecilia had promised at our first meeting. We plan to hire them for bathroom and mud room projects.

    I doubt our experience would be typical of the homebuilding process. For family reasons, we had to purchase our house during the pandemic with constant shortages and delayed arrival of materials. Sergio and his crew constantly had to adapt to try and keep up progress and make headway wherever they could. You could tell that they were doing everything within their power to make our home as close to everything we wanted as possible. For example, they let us borrow a full-size fridge for close to a year while ours was on backorder. I would definitely recommend them for a project of similar scope.

    We hired Cecilia and Sergio to remodel a hall bathroom; home to one teenager and two soon-to-be teenagers, the bathroom needed serious updating, more space and to appeal to the kids. Cecilia was so patient and interested in the kids opinions and ideas. We are amazed at the space created by moving the toilet (something we never thought about). Even more space was created with a pocket door and removing the tub. Its clever ideas like this that made the project so worthwhile; we didnt just update, we got an entire new bathroom. Cecilias crew were very personable and polite, especially given the comings and goings of an active family and dog. We did notice and have ideas about a few punchlist items at the end of the project, and Cecilia and Sergio were always open to communication and responsive.     Detail-oriented, well-organised, and professional company. Highly recommend.We found LUKA builders from several articles about best contractors in Northern Virginia. We cross-referenced reviews and decided to hire them after seeing their quote for our major main bathroom renovation.What we liked:- Customer service. Cecilia was kind enough to meet us personally for material selection so that we can see with our own eyes what things will look like, now just on photos or computer designs. We maintained constant comms through WhatsApp group for everyones situational awareness and documented everything in a shared Google Doc for Q&A. Each of our suggestion was respectfully considered and all pros and cons discussed. Sergio went above and beyond to help us with small things (replacing poorly design shower arm, etc) and even though the construction was over, when we asked Sergio to help us mount blinds in the bathroom, he sent his foreman to do so. We really appreciate it.- Organisation. Everyone was always on time and things were always on schedule. The tradesmen were as precise as a Swiss watch; they always arrived exactly when planned. The foremen - Diego and Juan were always present each day to make sure the tradesmen did exactly what design required and left the job site clean afterwards.- Detail-oriented. Everything was pre-planned in advance - the drawings, the designs, the computer renders, etc. We always knew what to expect and how it is going to look like.- Craftsmanship. Cecilias and Sergios partner companies did an excellent job with all the details of this renovation. From initial demolition, to framing, to electrical, plumbing, tiling, finishing, - everything was done really well with attention to the smallest of things. The job site was always left clean each day.- Transparency. We knew what any deviation from the plan will cost; everything was documented and transparent; there were never any misunderstandings with regards to cost of extra things or changes to plans. Sergio was always clear on what consequences a change will have.
