    Marty’s Electric has been so helpful with completing electrical work I’ve needed in my new home. Isaiah and Joe are a fantastic crew. They are polite, punctual and they do top quality work. I’ve had them do several projects from large to small and wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

    Perry and his team did a fantastic job at my place. He is courteous, professional. He was consistently on time, always let me know when he would arrive and leave. His prices were more than reasonable. He has a wonderful work ethic, cleans up after himself, and leads an awesome team. I will call him for all electrical needs in the future. Its difficult to find a lot of good, honorable and professional contractors who work with his level of integrity. Even with plans changing, Perry went above and beyond to accommodate those changes. He is very fair and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is completed well and above expectation. I highly, highly recommend him.

    Update: two years later and we had an electrical emergency. Perry was the first electrician that came to mind and I still had his number on the fridge. He showed up in just a couple hours to fix my problem. Next time I have an electrical issue Perry will be the man for the job. So thankful that he is in the area.Perry was an excellent business man. He was polite from the time I called him until even after the job was done. He was very professional, neat and clean. He had very fair prices. His crew was very clean as well. He was very punctual. I would recommend helping hands to anyone needing electrical work and will use them again if needed.

    Perry and his team are top notice. Perry came and looked over what I needed done. Gave me a price , an estimate on cost and a date to get the job complete. While I was waiting Perry communicated with me several times. On the day of the job 4 people came. My job was completed quickly and professionally. The work crew cleaned as they went and were very polite. It was a great experience. We will definitely hire Helping Hands Electrical for all our needs in the future. 5+ stars

    Perry and his team with Helping Hands Electrical just finished installing a 100 Amp sub-panel and Tesla wall charger in our garage and we couldnt be happier with the service! Perry is phenomenal at communication and his service is top notch. Perry is very knowledgeable and does everything by the book. Our installation was professional, timely, neat, and efficient.     Perry and his team have done two projects for us. They just finished a new bedroom/bath addition. They worked with carpenters and plumbers to coordinate the work. They are considerate of our time and our property and introduced anyone who came in to work on the project. Their pricing is good. They clean up after themselves. We recommend them and will use them again in the future. They are attentive to detail, safety and the quality of their work.

    Perry was quick to respond to my telephone call. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and by Friday afternoon my outlet was replaced. I called another electrician prior to deciding on Perry and they couldnt even get to me for 2-3 months. He was very friendly, efficient, and affordable. I did get a quote for the same work from Angi.com. It was roughly $120 more. I would most definitely call on Perry again if needed and highly recommend him to friends and family.

    Perry was excellent! Five stars!!! I didnt have to play phone tag with Helping Hands which Ive had to do with electricians in the past. They answered immediately and were able to come out the next day! Not only was he thorough and professional, the price for fixing the receptacle for my dryer was very affordable! I will definitely keep them in mind for future electrical needs! Thank you Perry I can now use my dryer again instead of going to the laundromat!

    Perry was amazing! I had what I thought to be a bad breaker but with Perrys thoroughness found out I had a wiring problem! Luckily Perry made it work to where he could fit me in before another job. He was very professional and very courteous. 10/10 will recommend!!!

    Perry and his assistants were professional, knowledgable, and punctual. Perry communicates all of the issues clearly, and spells things out so they are understandable to those of us who may not know a lot about electrical issues... I never felt talked down by him, and he always checked in with me before proceeding with an unforeseen issue, of which there were several in my house and studio.... Safety is his number one concern, and I really appreciate that. I highly recommend Helping Hands Electrical!

    I recently hired Perry and his crew to handle the electrical aspects of a house rehab project and I couldnt be more satisfied! I wish my other contractors would have operated in the same way. Always there when he said they would be, great pride in workmanship, cleaned up everything - every time. Never a surprise, Perry took the time to carefully explain the phases involved in the project, associated costs and potential trouble spots before they were trouble - this all combined to make a difficult and rather complex rewire job truly a pleasure and a welcome change from the service of many of the contractors which I have worked with in the past. - Thanks again Perry and crew!

    I cant say enough great things about Perry and Helping Hands Electrical. I called them on Monday morning around 10, and they were in Bristol by 11. They handled everything, and explained exactly what was happening. They were up front about the cost, and I ended up paying less than what he had anticipated.     I had to have some work done on a house I was selling. Perry handled everything while I was in Alabama. This was the most stress free contractor Ive ever used.     Perry, first rewired our cooking stove as we changed from gas to electric; next he put in a new electric panel; then he rewired the whole house and 2 outbuildings. He always let us know when he could come, how long he planned to work, and an estimate of the costs. When he thought he had made a mistake, he always acknowledged it, and we would decide how to proceed. He worked with our plumber to save us time and money on ditch witching both our electric and plumbing lines to the outbuildings and , also, moving our water heater. He worked with us when we made changes. He brought our home, that had been initially wired in the late 1940s, up to code and beyond. We always enjoyed him and his crew working in our home. Even after his work is done, we know we can call about any electrical issue and he will respond quickly. Thanks to his honesty and integrity, we live in a much safer and energy efficient home.

    5/19/2016I cant say enough good things about Perry Hyder, owner of Helping Hands Electrical. He came out to fix one outlet and ended up finding a more serious, dangerous problem and took the time (well beyond his planned time) and insisted it was all taken care of before he left. And not only that, he made sure it was done right! The Johnson City inspector passed his work with no problem even though the regulations are tougher in Johnson City. I could not have asked for a more professional, personable or dependable man for the job. He and his staff were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves throughout the job. He was very sensitive to my needs and schedule for the estimate and for the job itself. I dont know anyone else who would have gone above and beyond like Perry Hyder did! I will definitely have him back to my home anytime I need electrical work done and I would highly recommend him to everyone! The world needs more good Christian men like Perry.

    He was great to work with! He converted our fluorescent kitchen light to LED in 10 minutes. We called him Friday and he came out the very next day to do this.     Mr. Hyder and his assistant came out to my home today to troubleshoot a partial power loss in my downstairs. They quickly found the problem and had it fixed in no time. Im not familiar with what other electricians charge but I felt like Helping Hands Electrical was very fair in what they charged me.     EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The owner is a super nice, polite gentleman! We called Helping Hand Electric to fix a shorted wire that had blown the power in one whole wall of our kitchen and he was here that day to check it out and had it fixed the following day!
