Our roof required immediate fix. TJ was one of six contractors we contacted. Unlike the others, he got to the root of the issue. He was honest and quick about what was needed to begin the repairs. He not only repaired the entire roof of our house. We also decided to hire him to remodel the flooring of our entire house. Very pleased. A five star company. -

Called TJ for a quote on a complete kitchen, bath, bedroom renovation. Our past contractor had a terrible attitude and delivered a terrible job on our kitchen. From the very beginning, TJ was honest about the cost, and schedule. His company did a superb job from start to finish. Communication was five star with daily updates. When small problems arose, they were dealt with quickly and professionally. Excellent craftsmanship. American Renovation is highly recommended. My wife and children are SUPERRRR Happppy with the finished results. Thank you TJ! -

As you’re more than likely aware, finding a good, reliable, problem solving General Contractor is very hard to find. If you’re looking for someone you can trust, you’ve found him in T.J. Afdasta, Owner of American Renovation, Inc.My wife and I have a two bedroom, one bathroom condominium and we decided to completely demo the home and start over. We began searching for a good contractor about a year ago and to make a long story shorter, TJ was the sixth that we reviewed. Two sort of started and then vanished, two were honest enough to say they were too busy, and another showed slight interest and then disappeared. Mind you, all were referrals.From day one, TJ evaluated our home, our vision, and found solutions where we thought we might be stuck. This was in part due to our home being built in 1976. Undeterred, he provided innovative solutions to plumbing and electrical rerouting, flooring, custom doors, a complete shower makeover and much more. Quite often when we had a naive idea, he would say ‘If it was my house….’ This shows you his personal commitment to not ‘just do the job’. He wants his clients to be thrilled with the results.We had an added challenge in that we hired a designer from Kansas, that my nephew had utilized for his remodel. TJ had the extra level of working with her and to her design. He performed it seamlessly, correcting some details as needed per the reality of certain dimensions of our home.As many contractors, TJ has relationships with building material companies and we achieved additional discounts as a result. The great thing was that we had to order many items ahead of time to avoid supply chain delays and by the time TJ was ready to install them, if he found something not to his quality standards, he took them back himself. Most contractors would just install ‘what you bought’.Our home is now complete; TJ even came back and professionally installed our artwork with laser precision measurements. When we walk through the door, it truly feels like we just bought a new house. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the result!To find a contractor that was honest, reliable, innovative, technically skilled, and not willing to settle for ‘ordinary’, was an amazing blessing. Additionally, TJ’s crew and sub-contractors performed very well. If there was any question or concern from us, TJ would do whatever it took to make it right. Look no further; I can assure you that you’ve found the right contractor in TJ and American Renovation, Inc.
