    One of the best electrical contracting companies in the South. Their work is always pristine, they do things the right way always and train their electricians right. Eli Hanson is one of the best electricians I have ever worked with, and Travis is doing a great job taking the reins of the company into the future.

    Harold was an excellent electrician! He addressed all my concerns and projects with honesty and was able to do everything the day he came out to quote it. Harold was very conscientious of our home, kids and pets. We had him replace 4 indoor light fixtures & 1 exterior light, assess & replace a light switch, and add another outlet. He did our whole list, put together all our new light fixtures and left our home as clean as when he arrived. Thank you! We will definitely be using Pat Murphy for any of our future needs.     Our experience with Pat Murphy was great. We were able to get on the schedule quickly, and Harold just came out to complete our project today.     Harold and Noah did an amazing job assembling and hanging a very large intricate crystal chandelier in a my two-story foyer!! So many companies turned me down because they did not have the right equipment to do the job. Thats why I love Pat Murphy! Thank you sooo much Harold and Noah!

    Our electrical issue turned out to be on Georgia Powers end (shocking, I know) but Pat Murphy had their electrician Daniel here within an hour of my first phone call.Daniel was courteous, professional, and obviously very knowledgable. He answered all of my questions and provided an accurate diagnosis within 2 minutes of checking things out. I spent $75 on the service call instead of $500+ on unnecessary repairs.I will be coming back to Pat Murphy any time I have electrical issues.

    My electrical system was outdated with insufficient capacity. I contacted PME and they scheduled a team to come out to assess my needs. Harold and Darwin were really great. I was able to easily schedule 3 days of work. According to Harold, my breaker panel box had been recalled a few decades ago and had been involved in a long-settled class action suit, so it was the priority to replace with an added surge protector, and behind some shelves, I actually had an old remnant 2-prong outlet that had been missed when I upgraded to 3-prong in the 90s. Those were the safety concerns I had, along with a clicking switch which upon removal turned out to be cracked. They updated several critical use areas with additional outlets with USB connections, testing everything thoroughly and neatly labeling the new breaker panels. They were both knowledgeable, professional, detailed, conscientious, and quite likeable. And they were wonderfully kind and patient with my scared little protector dog. 🐾 I will be requesting them if I need electrical service at my Moms properties or additional work in my home in the future. 👍

    Used Pat Murphy electric after calling a few other electrical work companies and not getting called back. They were able to send an electrician, Andi T. to my house the next day. He gave me an estimate and had all of the supplies in the work truck to install an extra circuit for a dehumidifier. Fantastic professionalism and friendly, quick service.

    Last night a tree fell and knocked out the powerlines that go to my house. I called Pat Murphy because I had an excellent experience in June when Jeremiah came and upgraded my electrical panel. Today, Daniel came and worked for hours trying to get my power back on. He had to work with Georgia Power and the inspector from City of Atlanta to make everything happen. He was extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend Pat Murphy Electric

    Harold with Pat Murphy came out to address some wiring issues we discovered when replacing a ceiling fan. He was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly fix the issue. Upon fixing that, Harold let us know that our panel was dangerously obsolete and needed to be replaced. He provided us quotes for the work before he even left. Cant beat that level of service. Im thankful for Harold and Pat Murphy Electric for doing things the right way 👍Coming back to edit this review to add: I didnt catch the ladys name who answers the phones, but she was very helpful in explaining pricing and setting up the appointment. She was also very kind, which goes a long way. Ill be calling here for all my electrical needs.

    If I could give 6 stars, I would. Electrician Andy T from Pat Murphy Electric arrived early 9 am. He immediately began troubleshooting the issue despite the house electrical being disconnected. The challenges communicating with GA Pwr for reconnect were unbelieveable (poor service from a monopoly GA Pwr). Andy efficiently supervised his 2 co-workers, and they completed their work at my residence with professionalism and quality. He had remained onsite until GA Pwr arrived at 1am to reconnect! (16 hr work day straight through to completion). He explained scope of work completed to the GA pwr crew. Once power was reconnected, Andy T then revisited the electrical tasks completed to confirm all was well. Good communicator, great work ethic. Ill be back again! Happy customer.

    I used Pat Murphy electric to run a high voltage line from my basement to my attic for the installation of an air handler (to support a heat pump). It was a fairly complex job, requiring careful planning to ensure that as little dry wall as possible was disturbed. Daniel and Darwin were excellent. They took great care with the work and ensured that only one area was cut to run the wire. The quote was also extremely reasonable. Id recommend Pat Murphy without reservation.

These folks were professional, on time, super transparent with everything that was completed, worked hard, gave me and honest estimate and stuck to it. They even cleaned up after themselves!     Plug in a hair dryer and loose power in two rooms, tripped a breaker was our first thought. Down to the basement and reset the breaker but no luck.     Had a limb fall on my ... pipe where the power comes into my house (name?) and it busted the weatherhead. Stanley David was on call (Sunday, yesterday) and worked really hard to get me to where they could restore my power as quickly as possible. I really appreciated how well he communicated with me about the process and how hard he worked. He clearly cares about his customers and knows what hes doing. Would definitely use this company again and would be happy to have Stanley fix things at my house if needed.

    Stan (an electrician with Pat Murphy) is legitimately the best professional we’ve ever had work on our home. To start off, he was super communicative at every turn - if he said he was 20 minutes out, he was truly 20 minutes out. Second, he worked through the absolutely worst conditions (terrible heat, cramped spaces) to fix our problems and correct decades of shoddy electrical work. Third, he took initiative and identified ways to improve the efficiency of our system. Lastly, he maintained an absolute professional and friendly demeanor, regardless of how sweaty, frustrated, or whatever. We appreciate his work, his demeanor, and his initiative. We wouldn’t hire anyone else.

    My electric meter was overheating, so GA Power shut off the service late on Friday after 5pm. I googled for an electrician and the large companies that pay to show up first on Google appeared. Most, if not all, were large air conditioning or plumbing companies that had a small division that did electric. I wasted my time with them. Luckily I kept scrolling down until I found electric-only. I called and spoke with Pat Murphy Electric’s dispatch. They were very nice - and confident. Put me at ease. They told me that I would receive a call shortly from their on-call electrician. Ten minutes later I received a call from Stanley who was upbeat and had positive urgency which matched my urgency to get my power back on for my family. He confirmed what the issue was, gave me his current location and ETA. He made a two comments on the phone that stuck with me: 1.) “We won’t be the lowest price, but you chose the right company” & “I love fixing things!”. It was late at night, dark outside, etc. Stanley hopped out of his van with energy and the right body language. That eased my mind. Stanley assessed the situation and clearly explained my options. He showed empathy for my family being without power. I’m a single dad with a 3 & 4 year old. Stanley repeatedly made it clear, the problem would be fixed. It wasn’t an easy job due to my house being built in 1960. Long story short, from the company Pat Murphy Electric to the energetic Stanley that showed a little hustle, I had a very positive experience. There is absolutely no reason for me to choose another company. The power is back on, the kids and I are chillin! And my favorite football team is playing today. Thanks Stanley🧠💪🏼

    I am incredibly pleased with the service received from Pat Murphy Electric. Paul T. was our main electrician and he did an outstanding job. Very clean, thorough, and professional. Our home was built in the 1950s so had some dated (and sometimes funky) electrical systems. We replaced many outlets in the house with grounded ones and Paul clearly explained each step of the process. An even bigger task was the installation of canned lighting in our Kitchen and Living room. After being led astray by our home improvement store, Paul helped us get the right equipment for the install.We are very pleased with each of the projects completed, and the timely and clean manner they were done. I would highly recommend Pat Murphy Electric (and specifically Paul T.) to anyone looking to complete a residential electric project, big or small.

    I had a new septic pump installed that had to be wired up and new circuit breaker wired up.Daniel was extremely professional, polite, and very knowledgable. He was prompt, and friendly despite having to work in the rain and make 3 trips to help us get to the bottom of some issues. He even got on the phone with the plumber to discuss various issues that arose with trying to get the correct cord for the pump!     Normally when you hire someone to come work in your home, it is a stressful experience. Andi and Mason came to our house to help us figure out how to install a larger circuit and get our new sauna working. It was definitely a chicken and an egg type of project, but these guys came in and figured it out. They did a tricky circuit installation, then figured out how to wire our new sauna; and made our lives that much better because of the work they did.The best part about it is they are enjoyable to have around. Theyre the kind of guys you want to have a conversation and hang out with. I know that we will absolutely use Pat Murphy Electric again, and were specifically going to make sure we get Andy and Mason. Or Andy and or, Mason. Either guy is awesome, youll be happy you worked with them.

    The service was exceptional. I would recommend Stan. He brings both expertise and professionalism to the job.     Great job, David Moore and GP were terrific - they came in a timely way, were clean and pleasant, explained everything to me. They found the problem quickly and made my house much safer than it was before. There was no real grounding for my house and they installed two copper grounding poles that went down eight feet as well as appropriate grounding wire to the water pipes in several places. They also installed a home surge protector and redid the main box for the house. I was pleased in every way.

    Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a professional and efficient electrician. Gary Mack came out, assessed our problem, and then went far above and far beyond what the expectation would be to make sure that we were taken care of that day instead of a multi-day fix. He absolutely crushed it. Mark Neal, the GM of the store also came out and helped make the magic happen. It was comforting knowing that they took our concerns and problems so seriously, came up with a game plan, and then executed it to perfection.

    Weve used Pat Murphy for years. Most recently needed help with a number of small jobs. Patrick, our technician, was outstanding. Communicated ahead of time so we knew exactly when he was available. He was unfailingly kind and considerate. He quickly took care of our electrical issues and happily accepted our by-the-way-while-youre-here requests even though it was getting late. He was up front with the cost for each request (prices are quite reasonable) and helped choose less expensive alternatives when possible. When you call Pat Murphy - be sure to ask for Patrick.

    We needed to have some rewiring work done around the house. Our floor heater also had loose wires that had melted together. I called Pat Murphy based on a recommendation from my parents who had similar issues in the past. Patrick and Travis were extremely helpful and professional. They explained everything as they went along, and they fixed the problems. They were very nice and polite. Patrick even cleaned up the wires behind our tv and replaced a cracked switch that I didnt even know about. I would definitely call them again.

    These guys are the real deal. No nonsense, skilled electricians. I have had them out to our residence twice. The first time was about a year ago after another competitor tried to sell me a new copper panel for $2000. I called Pat Murphy. The technician, David Pope, was tremendous in terms of customer service and technical skills. He solved the problem for about $225! Today, he returned for a separate issue, a short in a plug. He solved the problem in about 15 minutes and the rate was what I was quoted over the phone. I applaud the professionalism and strong ethics of David Pope and Pat Murphy Electric. You are our electrical company and we highly recommend you! Keep up the solid work!!
