    We highly recommend Dynamo Electric. This is the second job we have had Dynamo do at our home. The first involved installing an electric car charger. There was a minor equipment problem which they returned and fixed immediately. The most recent job involved installing overhead lights.     Everyone has a sob story, no one wants to be without power. However, dynamo solved a very complex problem with an older home, and did it within a day of calling. Not only did they accomplish this, but they did it for literally a fraction of the cost of a competitive company that was trying to abuse us due to a weekend emergency call.     Dynamo installed an over the range microwave oven. The two guys who came to our house did an awesome job, and were very respectful of our house.     I had Dynamo come install a bathroom exhaust fan in a room that did not currently have one, as well as wire up 3 separate rooms in my house for ethernet (CAT6). This was my first experience dealing with them, and I found them based on word of mouth recommendations provided on our neighborhood Facebook page. Dynamo did an excellent job - I felt the price quotes was reasonable, all of the electricians we dealt with seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone was on time. Everything works great, and I would definitely call them first for any future work.

    Dynamo took care of some specialized electrical work for my food truck and did an excellent job! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the work was done quickly. When I had it reinspected, the inspector said they did some great, clean work. I dont know a lot of about pricing, but I thought the prices seemed fair. I highly recommend Dynamo!

    Kenny and his team are awesome! We have been using Dynamo for years - they have done everything from running electrical to our garage so we could install overhead door openers to replacing light fixtures in our rowhouse. The prices are fair given the excellent quality of work and very professional and polite attitudes of the team. Whenever I have a question or concern, they are very responsive. Invoices are always very close to the estimate, so I know what to expect before the work begins. Great electricians - I highly recommend this company!

    Dynamo Electric has been great in working on our house. We bought our house a year ago and it had significant deferred maintenance issues. Kenny Daniels, the owner, came out and went through all of the electrical issues noted in our home inspection report and advised us on the critical ones to address. They upgraded our service which allowed for planned remodeling. They subsequently pointed out and corrected electrical work that was inappropriately done by our kitchen remodeler. We’ve had them do other projects for us. Their electricians are very personable and courteous and leave the job site cleaner than they encountered it. This is the fourth house we’ve owned and I appreciate and value the relationship you want with artisan contractors. I am very happy with Dynamo Electric and would recommend them to any homeowner.

    I came across Dynamo Electric through a simple google search of electricians near me and they stood out due to their high number of high-rated reviews. I called up to coordinate an in-home estimate for the work that I was looking to have done.Every interaction that I had with Dynamo Electric throughout the process of scheduling the estimate, having the estimate conducted, scheduling the work, having the work performed, etc. has been an absolute pleasure. So much so, that I never really write reviews but felt very compelled to do so given this was how I came across this company in the first place.For the estimate, Kenny, the owner of Dynamo Electric, called me to schedule and then arrived a few minutes early to my home. His work van was in very good condition, he was professionally dressed in a Dynamo Electric uniform, took his shoes off when entered my home without me even asking, and was extremely personable. We had several different categories of work we wanted to be completed including installation of ceiling fans in 4 bedrooms (3 of which didn’t even have prior wiring or receptacles) including wiring to the wall switch boxes, replacement of an outdated foyer light that was 2.5 stories high, wiring and installation of outdoor flood lights of our 2 story house, and additional recessed lighting on our main floor’s living room and dining room. Kenny took his time with me so I never felt rushed and he answered all of my extensive and detailed questions so I knew exactly what to expect. He even explained how the recessed light work would occur given how the structural beams were constructed in my home that would make that specific job more challenging including some holes needing to be cut into my ceiling in order to wire appropriately, which allowed me and my wife to truly assess if that was a priority job to have completed right now or not. Kenny explained that the best time for that time of wiring job is to do it before you are having the ceiling repainted. The emailed estimate outlined the specific job/task being itemized so we could pick and choose which jobs we wanted to do first since some were higher priorities than others. The prices were very good compared to other companies and they were able to fit us in their schedule within 10 calendar days.We moved forward with installation and wiring of the 4 bedroom ceiling fans and the replacement of the foyer light. Kenny was very helpful as I came across questions to assure that I purchased the correct type of fans for our rooms and needs that included the correct size fan and advanced technology wall switches.The day of the scheduled work, two crew members arrived early, again in a good condition Dynamo Electric work van. They introduced themselves, were very polite and were very knowledgeable of all of the details of the job that Kenny and I discussed during the estimate. They were terrific with our family dog so we didn’t even have to have him isolated during the day to have this extensive work performed. Both employees, Mike and Tom, were very efficient, quiet, polite, and respectful the entire time and went above and beyond to assure high quality service and finished products. They even ran out to Home Depot to get the correct LED lightbulbs for our new foyer light that didn’t come with any since there is no way I could reach the fixture to install the bulbs myself.After the work was performed, I received a follow up email from Dynamo Electric asking how the install went. There was one issue that came up a day after the install where a “paper-like rubbing sound” was coming from one of the fans when turned on. When I explained that in the email, they immediately reached out to me to schedule someone to come out the next morning and fixed it in 10 minutes (fan issue not installation issue).I have already recommended Dynamo Electric to multiple neighbors and nearby family and friends. I have absolutely found the electrical company that I will use for all work needed for as long as they are in business given how incredible the experience has been.

Paying meticulous attention to detail, the company jumped to respond to my quick request for service by verifying the exact nature of the work to be done and making sure it was in compliance with a pending contract on the house.     Hubby is very handy, but when power went out in the bedrooms, he was stumped. Dynamo was recommended to me. They worked around my schedule, the technician was courteous and wasnt phased by the toddlers or dog, and had the problem diagnosed in 30 minutes and fixed in 30 minutes. VERY pleased with the job and the company and will be using them again!

    When you own an older home, outlets are never where they need to be, they’re two-prong and not up to code. What a relief to have Dynamo Electric, a company that is highly skilled, reliable and their prices are reasonable! They’ve replaced outlets and switches for us and installed a new outlet.     Weve had two separate projects completed by Dynamo Electric. The first was a much larger project that required a permit from Baltimore county. It included doubling the amperage of our home and rewiring a newly renovated bedroom. They handled acquiring the permit and performed all the work while we were not at home. The second project included retrofitting recessed lighting in our living room and adding some outlets. They are a team of trustworthy knowledgeable electricians, theyre easy to work with and we plan on using them again in the foreseeable future.

    As of late, a number of my breakers kept tripping, including the one for the refrigerator and the one for the internet. I called, and due to volume at the time, I was given an appointment a number of days out, but I was told they would try their best to get someone out quicker. The next morning I received a call, and the electrician was there and replaced the breakers in a matter of minutes. We havent had issues since! Very nice, friendly and informative electricians. Highly recommend!

    My daughter is new to the area and bought a new house and she was having some issues with her electric. I contacted Dynamo and I am so glad I did. They came out and diagnosed the problem immediately and gave us an estimate to complete all the work including upgrades to make it up to code. They came out to complete the work and were there when they said they would be and Kenny and Mike were great throughout the entire process including keeping us informed on the progress, dealing with inspectors and BGE to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. The work they completed and the professionalism from everyone is second to none. I would highly recommend Dynamo Electric and will definitely call them again if we ever have another electrical issue.

    We had a number of items we needed done: wiring for and installing a new ceiling fixture, replacing some existing fixtures, replacing two bathroom exhaust fans and installing new outlets. When Kenny came out to give us an estimate, he made a couple of suggestions that simplified what we wanted to accomplish. As far as the work itself, everything went great.     The technicians arrived on time and immediately went to work completing the list of minor electrical services that i had accumulated. The work included replacing some exterior lights, repairing a few non functioning outlets and making sure that a breaker was working. They also installed a RING doorbell and took the time to make sure that I downloaded the app and all was working well. The guys were efficient and friendly and i highly recommend them.

    Dynamo Electric was great to work with. They are responsive to estimate requests, arrive at the specified date/time, and provide the estimate in a timely manner. During the estimate meeting Kenny took detailed notes about the various items on my to do list. Brandon and Sam arrived promptly on the scheduled work day. Both men were friendly and professional. They displayed great teamwork and as they went through the tasks on the lists. They even cleaned up each work area as they moved through the house. Everything works great. I will definitely use Dynamo again and recommend the company to others.

    Couldnt be more happy with Dynamo Electric!! I had been having so much trouble with contractors and scheduling. One morning I was waiting for 3 different contractors (we had a lot going on) and 2 were complete no-shows, didnt call or anything. So I was pretty irked by the time Dynamo Kennys appointment time came around, and I get a call from him. Im thinking, here we go, another cancellation/reschedule/etc. He was just calling to say he was on his way but might be 5-10 min late. He actually called to tell me that! I was so happy I think I heard angels singing. And yes he was a whole 6 minutes late, which is the amount of turn-around time I automatically factor in for everyone because our driveway is easy to miss. Anyway, I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. One job I needed was to install a dedicated outlet for a newly installed sump pump. I was nervous because the electrical panel was 50+ feet from the pump and our basement is finished. The team was creative and got the job done with just a small square of drywall cut out in one bedroom ceiling. Very nice for me! The next time I had them out to assess potential electrical damage from a house fire next door, where a lot of our house melted from the heat. Both times they were very thorough and friendly, and took the time to explain what they were doing after my endless questioning. They always make sure I feel comfortable with their explanations and with their work before leaving. Just great! 5 stars. My go-to electric company.
