Just had a job completed with Jim and team, incredible workmanship, professionalism, fair costing, and timeliness. Techs showed up on the dot, did a great job, cleaned up like they were never there and even went the extra mile to label all of my breakers to their correct areas (which the previous owner never did). I look forward to the next project Ill be doing with Konopka and team, I wont be working with anyone else from now on, you wont regret working with them either!

I called Jim for an issue i was having at my store. Multiple electricians had tried to trouble shoot but to no avail. Within a day he came up with a plan and fixed my problem!!! Eureka!!! Now I have him working on something else. I was impressed at how quickly Tim was able to get to my store and solve my problem. Hello my new electrician!!

I am a local business owner, needed some help with my cooler lights, other companies came in and could not find any solutions for a very long time. Jim came in, assessed the lights and got it figured out and remedied in such a short period of time! Cannot thank him enough for saving my lights & my eyes from the constant (annoying) blinking from our walk in cooler lights at Ledgebrook. Highly recommended!

The owner came to my house to provide a quote for the work and answer any questions I had. He was very thorough, and provided two quotes for different options I wanted to pursue. He was able to get me on the schedule quickly.On the day of the job, the workers who showed up were professional, courteous, and worked hard. They did a fantastic job completing the work, and answered any questions I had along the way. We recently used Konopka for the electric work during our kitchen renovation.They moved lights, replaced lights, installed under cabinet lighting, and installed outlets where there had been none. They were extremely prompt, fitting us into their schedule so that it worked with the other contractors / work on the kitchen. This was much appreciated as it alleviated any stress and avoided any delays (especially when we were renovating the kitchen between Thanksgiving and Christmas!) Their work was well done, they left the area clean and they were courteous. I was extremely pleased with them and would highly recommend them..

We purchased an automatic generator from Konopka Electric. From the moment I called for information, the service was extraordinary. Jim returned my first call immediately and inspected/quoted same day. His product is top of the line and much better pricing than the auto generator commonly advertised. After installation, I called Jim on a Sat afternoon regarding a question I had about the service panel. He came out within 30 minutes - the issue had nothing to do with the generator and he solved the problem. Sometimes dealing with contractors can be a headache at best. Konopka Electric does not fit this description - Jim is very professional and has a great personality. His employees are hard workers and follow his lead. Can’t say enough good things and highly recommend.

I called Konopka Electric because I had experienced sudden loss of electrical service in but a portion of the house. They arrived that same afternoon and went about quickly diagnosing the problem, checking multiple outlets after verifying the breaker shut off. long and short is that a mouse had chewed through wiring, which is not an easy task to repair behind a wall from the receptacle, snaking up from the basement. None the less they were quick and efficient in effecting the repairs. Additionally, the price charged was more than fair and reasonable. Plus, they had to work around while we juggled our pack of dogs. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

I called Jim Konopka from Konopka Electric on a Sunday morning needing an emergency repair on the electric panel in my house. After being directed by his business answering machine to call his cell in the even of an emergency, I was skeptical that my call would be answered. But to my surprise he answered almost immediately and after a brief description of my issues he stated he would be at my house in less than 45 minutes! I was delighted, especially after calling three other companies in the area which did not answer their phones. Jim came out in less than 45 minutes and had my issue resolved in about 15 minutes, allowing me to safely turn the power back on in my house. He was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable, he even repaired a previous electricians mistake. I highly recommend his service and he has gained a customer for life! Give them a call!

Konopka Electric is among the most impressive contractors Ive ever seen. Jim, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive, and the crew he sent out, Mark Rooney and Mike Sullivan, were amazing. When installing my whole house generator transfer switch and testing the generator, they were extremely polite and thoughtful, and clearly cared about the quality of everything from the installation to being certain that I understood the hows and whys regarding everything they were doing. And they would not leave until they were certain that everything worked perfectly, troubleshooting issues that had nothing to do with their work. I would use Konopka Electric again in a heartbeat.
