AV electrics completed two separate jobs, with the first consisting of installing my new Tesla in-home charger, followed by a second job updating some of my light fixtures (a pic of my entry light’s “before and after” is included). Arrived at 9am and were done by 1pm. Installed a 30amp breaker, ran 85 feet of 10 gauge through conduit underground to our pool, installed a GE Z wave control box (wireless smart outlet) and added four electrical outlets. I am very picky on quality and appearance, everything was straight and very clean looking. AV electric and Arnie were very professional!!! They worked extremely hard on a hot Mother’s Day! Thank you, we will hire you again when we remodel.

These guys at AV electric were amazing! We needed electric ran out to our pool pump. They were the only ones who showed up to take care of our small job! They were so professional, and did an outstanding job! They installed a wifi box with a timer as well as a 4 plug box out near the pump. Everything works GREAT! Highly highly recommend!

Had a power outage. Called provider. Power was restored, but nothing came on in home. Called provider back. Maam, everything is restored on our end. Have you checked the breaker. Yes, I did that before the first and second call. Something else is wrong, maam.You may need to call an electrician. I reviewed local ones and like A.V. Electric reviews. Liked what I read. Called and experienced all the 5 star reviews service. Arnie and his team were on time, thorough, fair pricing, courteous, easy spirit. Goes above and beyond. If I could give 10 stars for the service I received from Mr. Arnie I would. I called him after 5pm and told him my lights were flickering and taking forever to come on. He told me he could stop by within the next 45 minutes and he showed up before hand. He was prompt, professional, and found the issue right away. Had I not called him we would have been in a horrible situation. I highly recommend AV Electric for all your electric needs.

We have had nothing but a great experience with AV Electric. This this the third project Arnie has completed for us. This project was probably the most complicated. When we had our pool built, the electrical portion apparently went to the lowest bidder. The wiring/cabling was attached to a piece of plywood which obstructed a window. While my concern was the aesthetics, Arnie pointed out more serious workmanship issues. We were glad we called Arnie! He and his crew came out and in a single day, revamped the entire electrical panel for our pool equipment. It is now nice and neat and compact (see the pictures), and up to code. What we love about Arnie is that he is very professional and an expert at his craft. He takes the time to thoroughly explain what he plans to do and why in laymans terms. The cost (which is VERY reasonable) is discussed upfront and there are no surprises. He does an absolutely outstanding job. Then he cleans up and leaves the site in pristine condition. We are glad we have him in the virtual rolodex for any future electrical needs. Thanks AV Electrical!

My kitchen light went out and after replacing the light bulbs my husband determined it was an electrical issue. I contacted AV Electric and explained the issue and texted a picture. Arnie pretty much had an idea of the issue. He stated he was pretty busy but would fit me in. He called the next day and sent someone to fix the problem. They employee who came out was very courteous and answered all my questions. Although it was not a big job, I received great service and pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!

The owner, Arnie, came out the same day I called for an estimate. He was very professional and informative and within one day I had an estimate. We set an appointment time for the next week and he was prompt and did the job in good time and it looked very well done. He replaced a house breaker panel and hooked up a washer and dryer connection. I am so pleased that I am having him price a complete 200 amp house panel that is 50 years old and needs upgrading on another residence.

Called AV out of the blue because I had screwed up some outlets, the tech was 40 mins out and it was getting late in the day, so I wasnt even expecting them to make it that day. But sure enough tech shows up, fixes the issue very quickly, really nice people. Needed immediate service after attempting to change a 3-prong receptacle on my own with sparking and a circuit cutoff. I was anxious for help and AV Electric answered my call after hours, even though I did not expect an answer. Instead of leaving a messsge, i got an answer (11:45 p.m.), and scheduled for hours later on the next day. Mano and Arnulfo of AV Electric Service knew exactly what the issue was and fixed the problem within 20 minutes! They provided responsive and efficient service!

Excellent job! Arnie is very friendly, polite, and respectful. Very knowledgeable. I told him of what the issue is and he knew right away the source of the problem. He also went above and beyond to replace light bulbs in the kitchen and also replaced the smoke alarm batteries upon my request. He even apologized for being late when he was not. I have to start by saying, AV Electric has provided the best customer service in the 2.5 years that we have lived in Texas, so far! I would recommend them to everyone that I know. They were prompt and punctual and made it to my house the same day. They figured out what the problem was very quickly, answered all of my questions, and didnt charge me for things that I didnt need. This type of care was so important to me because I know nothing about electrical, but they were so kind and knowledgeable. They helped me figure out that my microwave needed to be replaced, and then they came back the next day to install my new microwave. They recognized that the first install wasnt done correctly and could impact the safety of the install, so they took the time to correct the mistake of the previous install.They dont treat their customers like business transactions, but like friends or family. They were very reasonable with their pricing, but for their services and professionalism, I would have paid much more because I feel like that is invaluable, you cant put a price tag on that!Thank you SO SO much!

Everything about the work Arnie and his team performed was no less than great. For homeowners insurance purposes, we needed to have our breaker box replaced. Arnie was quick to come and give us an estimate, then followed up to do the work - on the recent 4th of July holiday! Perfect for us. Since we were out of power in the house for a while, we went to a movie and lunch while they worked on installing the new box. When we were done, Arnie was done - worked out perfectly. Outstanding value and though we havent had a lot of time with this new box, so far its working just fine. We wouldnt hesitate to call Arnie again and highly recommend AV Electric.

Arnie and his team are amazing, professional, and very knowledgeable. We had a big list of things at the house and they knocked them all out of the park. I had to replace a dishwasher over the weekend after a leak, including re-wiring the old one from being hardwired to the new one that is plugged in. I called AV Electric because of the Google reviews...I will have to add another positive review to the list!A bad wall socket for my dryer caused a short twice in my home after I tried installing the dryer wiring. Not thinking it was anything I did incorrectly, I thought to call an expert for a consultation first.Not only was Arnie very responsive the morning I called, but he was able to come out later that same afternoon.I was thoroughly impressed with the service. Very honest work. Very knowledgeable. There is nothing to hide in this business - only honest, professional, and prompt service.If you are on a tight schedule, he will even call you to let you know he is on the way and how far out he is.I was able to get a recommendation stating that I should be reimbursed for my expenses, because a dryer wall socket and kitchen wall outlet had poor wiring, thus needed to be replaced.Without question... I recommend calling AV Electric as soon as you can. No point in waiting!! A+ service for professionalism, friendliness, and prompt arrival. These guys are incredible! I can’t say enough good things about them! My wife and I bought a house at the end of May and tried all summer to get an electrician to come out to replace some fixtures in the house. I needed to get some electrical work done before I returned to work. I called Arnie at AV Electric after 6 pm on Thursday and he was able to schedule me for the next day in the afternoon. I needed updated smoke detectors and a fan replacement since the motor on one had burned out. I also had them install fans. He had so much patience. After purchasing fans for them to install prior to their arrival I failed to realize that I needed extended length poles. Arnie and his team explained to me what I needed to get and continued to work on other areas so I could go back to Home Depot. They found an issue with the installation of one of our outdoor fans and worked with me so we could stay on budget. I couldn’t be more pleased with their workmanship 😊. Im not one to normally leave reviews even though I rely on them a lot but felt like I should after Arnie with AV Electric came out to our house today. I tried doing some wiring myself and naturally screwed it up. I called Arnie this morning and he was able to come out in just a couple hours. He even offered to troubleshoot through the situation over the phone with me but I was frustrated with my mess and wanted him to come fix it right. He was able to spot and fix my mistakes quickly and even took the time to explain what I did wrong and how to avoid it going forward. This was my first time using Av Electric but I promise you, it wont be my last. Theres a reason why AV Electric has such a high rating with so many reviews. Arnie came out to help us with an electrical problem. We thought it was a big issue but thankfully it turned out to be minor. He found the problem which was a tripped breaker on a different circuit. In no time he had us fixed and back up and running. It took him no time and I was more than happy to pay him for his expertise but he refused to take our money. This is the 2nd time weve used Arnie and both times we couldnt be happier. He is excellent and takes the time to explain without making you feel bad. I would recommend him to everyone. AV Electrics installation of my new heating (and air conditioning) unit was painless - I also received excellent service after sale. Maintenance on my previous heating and air system was routinely kept by a good and reputable local company, but I got a better price from AV electric when my system needed replacing in 2010. Except for the quickly answered service call during an ice-storm shortly after installation that required replacing the thermostat, Ive had an absolutely worry-free experience with the heating and air unit installed by AV Electric! I highly recommend them.

Great service and very professional. Power went out in kitchen on 1pm on Friday. They answered the call on the 2nd ring when 2 other companies never even answered. They were here within 2 hours and fixed the issue very quickly. They replaced an old outlet and wired it correctly to prevent another issue. They also fixed my front entry light and diagnosed a faulty outside fixture. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Accidentally sliced the 220 wire to my stove while remodeling and called AV. Arnie worked us into the schedule the same day. I opted to upgrade the 220 circuit, as it was pretty old. They did first rate job. I have new wiring, the new plug is now located properly and it looks much better to boot. I highly recommend AV - reasonably priced and Arnie cares about doing the job right.

His estimate was fair and the work was done in a very professional manner with excellent quality. He and the crew were also very neat and careful about damage to the house. He was honest with regards to what actually needed to be done in order to make the house safe and in compliance with codes. I hired an electrical contractor off craigslist who came to my home to change out a breaker on my electrical panel. This contractor moved the breakers around in my panel and messed up a/c, stove, dryer etc. I called AV electric on Labor Day. He came out right away and fixed my issue caused by the craigslist guy. He took the time to explain to me what the other guy did and cautioned me about hiring an unlicensed contractor. His prices are fair and the guy is very professional and courteous. Thank you so much, AV Electric! We are renovating a house and thought it would be mostly cosmetic. After pulling out the backsplash in the kitchen we discovered scary wiring. We called AV Electric - on a Saturday - and Arno came out right away. He took a look and agreed to squeeze us in the upcoming week even though they were very busy. He and his crew came, as promised, and made everything right adding in some canned lighting and extra appliance outlets and dedicated circuit. Then, a couple weeks later, he came again - on a Sunday - to check our new disposal that wasnt working (our own faulty installation that had nothing to do with the wiring). Install new electric meter pole.My electric meter was mounted on a wooden pole, which had badly warped, and the cable was sagging and the pole was cracked. I had decided to switch to underground service wires, which would have been expensive. AV Electric came out and looked at it, and recommended a metal meter pole next to the original. I went with that. It was a lower cost option, yet they recommended it as the best option, putting my interest ahead of their own. This is a rare and wonderful business attitude. They came and set the new pole, then came back two days later and moved the meter, the overhead wires, and the underground wires from the old pole to the new pole. I will go with AV Electric for my electrical needs from here onward.

AV ELECTRIC is absolutely amazing. for 3 weeks my power has been fluctuating throughout my entire house and got to the point I couldnt use my coffee pot and watch tv at the same time without it dimming the power tremendously. I called AV ELECTRIC at 4pm on Friday April 19th, 2019 and he said he was working in a call at the moment but would give me a call as soon as he was done. He called back around 430 and came out shortly after that. Took him all of maybe hour and a half to 2 hrs and he fixed my problem. He is very professional, caring and friendly. I wish I remembered the gentleman that came out to our house, because I would like to compliment him by name. He was super kind, and polite. You know there are some people that come out to your house, and they seem aggravated that you have a problem? Even though it was the end of the day, he was happy to help and had a great disposition. I had a simple ceiling fan install, that I failed at miserably. Turned out, some wiring behind the switch plate was wrong. I wouldnt have been that brave to move those around. He got the fan working, and even installed it the rest of the way. I just needed him to fix the wiring issue I was having, and he just helped me out the rest of the way. Arnie was called because I tried to wire in a 3 way switch on you tube , but after Arnie’s quick response on a very cold Saturday afternoon found a big mess I made ! Arnie looked over what I did and realize I didn’t have enough wire to complete the task ! I really wanted to complete this task myself, Arnie helped me by explaining how this was wired and why this would not work until the new wire was ran ! Arnie is a first class electrician and showed his skills this cold Saturday afternoon many thanks the lights on this three way switch is working great! Sooo impressed with AV electric! After having our breaker trip several times in one night, we knew our situation was emergent. We called AV the next day and even though he was busy with customers who had appointments, he was in contact with me through out the day. We gave this poor guy the run around by having another company come before he could make it out and that other company failed miserably. We ended up calling AV and begging him to please come and he fit us in the very next day and was absolutely AMAZING!!! He found the problem quickly and fixed it right away and guaranteed his work. If you are looking for an electrician, CALL AV you wont regret it. We dealt with a couple of other companies prior to AV and couldnt get the problem resolved and the customer service was horrible. AV was AMAZING!! He handles his clients first hand and does not pass them off to a tech. Give them a call!

I highly recommend AV Electric. Response time was fast. They accommodated my scheduled and came after 5 p.m. the same day I contacted them. My problem was resolved within 10 minutes of Arnie stepping into my home. I will definitely call them again if we have another electrical issue. You won’t go wrong calling AV Electric.

I highly recommend using AV electric. When I called, Arnie picked up right away. we had some trouble coordinating a time based on my busy schedule and he was always responsive to my calls and worked with me. He even came out after hours to help me with what I needed. he was able to solve and fix my problem immediately. I would highly recommend AV electric for any electrical needs.

We had a problem with our main breaker tripping constantly. We had some other electrician come and he said everything was fine with our panel and left. Five minutes later we were without power. We called AV and they came out the SAME day and found the problem immediately and fixed it. The service charge was very reasonable, especially since it was late on a Friday evening. They were easy to get in touch with and communicated with us prior to coming over to the house. Very courteous and obviously knowledgeable technicians! I highly recommend these guys for any electric issues you may have.

The guys were very professional they came out in freezing weather and were very prompt and replaced the panel to my furnace and had the furnace working in no time I really appreciate the work they put into this and I would recommend them to everybody I know and I truly believe the price was fair and I will use them for all of my electrical needs
