    Sean is the electrician everyone looks for. Fast, responsive, honest and looks out for your interests. He is also a master at his craft and will point out the right kind of modifications to make and what to watch for. He was extremely neat putting in recessed lighting and even did a great job with plaster afterwards. Cannot recommend him highly enough and would return to him for any future projects.

    Sean is awesome. We needed to install lights and fans after water had damaged ceilings. Not only did he do superb prep work, but he helped us find a great plasterer. Once the ceilings were finished he came back to complete multiple installations all in one day. His work is excellent and he is a joy to deal with.     Sean was everything we could have asked for! Usually you are lucky to get 2 out of 3 (fast, cheap, or good) but his work was all three! Weā€™d not only suggest him to anyone who wants quality work for a great price, but we intend to use him again for other parts of our renovation!     Sean is a highly competent, efficient, hard-working master electrician who is prompt, tidy and a pleasure to work with. We had Sean come to our old house for a knob and tube inspection, and then to do the needed work to bring it up to code. He thoroughly examined every nook and cranny, ensuring the house is safe for insulation. Work on an old house is rarely straightforward but rewiring our 110 year old house was especially complicated and challenging. Sean patiently and skillfully solved the problems to successfully complete the work. Sean is good-natured and generous with his time, advice and expertise beyond the contracted work, and his prices are fair.     Highly recommend!Very friendly and great to work with!We recently had a fuse trip in our house which we could not fix on our own or discover the root cause of the issue. We called Sean in the morning, and he squeezed us in for a quick appointment late in the day to see if the root cause of the issue was obvious to him and could be a quick fix. The root cause of our issue was not obvious on the first quick visit, so he fit us into his schedule just a couple of days later for a longer block of time. On the subsequent appointment, Sean was able to find the root cause and completely repair the problem. In addition, Sean pointed out small issues with a couple of our outlets, and fixed those as well. We really appreciated this because we have little kids.

    We had a very positive experience with Sean this past month. I originally asked him to come and install a new outlet under our kitchen sink but (as a new homeowner) also had many other questions about potential jobs. Sean was honest and helped me come up with a few ways to save money while still accomplishing our goals. He ended up installing the new outlet and taking down an old/dated ceiling fan and replacing it with a light fixture that matched the rest of our recessed lighting. He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We highly recommend him and his work and will definitely be using his services for any additional electric work that we do in the future.

    We couldnt be happier with the work that was done for us. We have an older house and a few of the outlets didnt work anymore and some of the wiring was bad. Along with fixing that, they removed old kitchen lighting and installed recess lighting, it looks clean and beautiful. We had some outdoor outlets installed as well, one specifically for an RV hookup. Everything was done phenomenally and for such a great price. I would absolutely recommend this company if you are in the service area. We will definitely be repeat customers if we should need anything else.

    Great experience all around! Sean was able to come by the day after I spoke with him for a relatively small job (he disconnected a hardwire connection to my dishwasher & upgraded the under sink outlet to GFCI so it can accommodate the disposal and diahwasher).     I have had Sean help install 3 different light fixtures in my home in the past. He was prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with. When I came home last night and had an issue with an electrical outlet in my bedroom, Sean was my go to Electrician to call. He was so helpful! He showed up as an emergency call, tested all of the circuits tied to the problem outlet, replaced multiple outlet faces to put me at ease and checked every single outlet tied to that circuit. That included taking light fixtures down, opening wall outlets, opening the electrical circuit breaker box, etc. I feel so much better knowing how thorough and professional Sean is.     We had a great experience with Sean this week addressing some light fixture issues. He is very professional, prompt and fair with pricing.     I almost want to keep McGuigan Electric at secret. I moved into an old house recently that needed to emergency repairs to old (hazardous) wiring, along with fixing broken, ungrounded outlets, installing outdoor outlets, and new wiring for a washer and dryer. Sean worked me into his schedule quickly (like days - not weeks) and always arrived promptly at the arranged time. Im in IT and also an engineer, and I can say his work is very high quality. Rarely have I seen an electrician as fastidious as Sean regarding wiring runs and panel layout. Plus, his fees are reasonable and very transparent.

We set a tentative appointment for the coming week, then he called back to say he had a cancellation and could be here first thing in the morning. This was too good to be true. He wired the spa so we can enjoy evening soaks under the stars or during the snow! All of this was competitively priced and well worth it! To complete our install Sean will help with a whole house surge protector as well as installation of a quick generator bypass so itā€™s easy to pull power when a storm knocks out the grid. Every step of the way was permitted and inspected by the town of Wayland. I would not hesitate to ask McGuigan Electric for any help in the future. I highly recommend him!     Sean was recommended to us by a friend and we have used him in our house several times for hanging new lights and putting in new outlets inside and out (including upgrading one in a very tricky spot in our basement). Sean is very professional, honest, and does great work at a fair price. Heā€™s a nice guy too.

    Sean did a great job. He was very responsive and flexible. He graciously worked around our somewhat limited availability. Once completed, he cleaned up so it looked the same as before he started. On top of the work, he is just a very nice person to deal with.

    After becoming worried that I hit a wire while installing shelves, I found McGuigan Electric from an online search and gave them a call. Although I felt terrible I was calling late in the evening, Sean was incredibly responsive and agreed to come out the next day. The next morning, he came to take a look. He was kind, professional and reassured me that all was okay. If I need an electrician in the future, I will definitely reach back out to McGuigan Electric.

    I have worked with Sean on several projects and been very pleased each time. He has retro fit recessed can lights, redone switching and fixed a GFI rather than replacing a fixture. He is honest, meticulous and cost mindful. He is my go to electricianā€¦.highly recommend!

    Mc Guigan Electric is the very best. Sean has replaced upwards of 15 light fixtures (from sconces to high ceiling chandeliers) in our new house and has done so quickly and with the utmost of care. His patience, flexibility, professionalism, quality of work, scheduling ability, and general demeanor are unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and will absolutely be hiring Mc Guigan Electric for all future electrical needs.
