We hired Marcel Maillet of Maillet and Sons, Sudbury MA to turn an ugly screened in porch into a 4-season room with a gas fire in our home in Concord Center In addition we remodeled the adjacent mudroom.We initially met with several other builders, none of whom impressed us as the right builder to hire like Marcel immediately did. We couldn’t have possibly chosen a more skilled, more highly-organized, and more easy-to-work with builder than Marcel. Marcel gave us a fair and complete estimate for our job’s total cost with a realistic schedule for a job start and end, both of which he stuck to, largely because Marcel is highly-competent and highly-organized at carrying out building projects from his many years of experience building homes with his father Al (who is now recently retired and who we were honored to meet); Marcel and his crew started our job on the exact date he said he would start. Marcel and his employees/sub-contractors came to work on time every day at 7am and worked diligently all day until our job was finished on time and on budget for the exact total cost Marcel quoted us up front; we couldn’t POSSIBLY have asked for more from any other builder. When an unexpected challenge came up that Marcel could not have possibly foreseen, Marcel was so experienced and so competent at building/remodeling houses, that he immediately came up with a solution and a change-order that he implemented without issue for a very fair agreed on additional price.Other builders seemed more interested in telling how complicated the job was going to be with lots of potential unexpected problems. Marcel’s attitude was completely different. He assured us that any unexpected issues that turned up would be easily sorted out. He prides himself in just getting the job done. This is indeed exactly how things went.On his website, Marcel says the following very true statement about his company: “Father and Son work together to produce the highest quality homes possible, maintaining both their relationships with subs and suppliers, and the companys reputation for an outstanding product.” That statement is absolutely one-hundred percent true; in addition to Marcel being a highly-competent and highly-organized builder from his years of experience building home with his father, his close relationships with his sub-contractors and his suppliers was instrumental in ensuring that our job was completed on time and on budget. We highly recommend that you consider hiring Marcel for any building/remodeling project. -

We first met Al and Marcel Maillet 14 years ago when we bought our house, which they built. Since that time we have hired Maillet and Son for everything from an in-law addition, to a basement renovation and various repairs. Our experience has always been the same. When Marcel tells you something will be done by a specific date then it is done, period. When Marcel gives you a quote, thats what the job will cost. And the finished project will be beautiful. Everyone who has ever been in our house who is affiliated with Maillet and Son has been courteous and professional. We recommend them without hesitation whenever someone we know is in need of a contractor, and we personally wouldnt hire anyone else. -

Maillet and Son has been nothing but amazing since day one. They were able to build us a house within our budget and the price they gave us in the beginning was the price we ended up with at the end. Marcel was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and got us into our new home right when he said he would. Everything was done wonderfully. As the house settled there were a few minor things that needed adjustment and they would come right away to make sure everything was perfect for us in our new home. Recently we had a tree fall and cause some cosmetic damage to our home and Maillet and Son was the first call I made. Marcel Maillet was out the next day assessing the damages and started fixing things the next day. I cant say enough how professional this company is and how much of a pleasure they are to deal with. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so! -

This company is amazing. Marcel has a good sense of details and he is a perfectionist. His workers were always friendly and left the space clean as possible during renovations.I had a chance to see different houses that theyve built and they are all very beautiful and practical for living. Love their work. Strongly recommend their services. -

I just had a recent remodel done by Marcel Maillet and Son. They where such a pleasure to work with. Marcel saw my vision and it was everything I had hope for and more. If you are looking to bulld a new home or do some remodeling. I highly suggest you give them a call..
