    Burr is very responsive and do a very good job. They are experts on n their lane. They installed windows doors and siding on our new construction. The only issue I had was they were persistent in not mixing three different kinds of siding, clap, shaker shingles and board and batton which I wanted and luckily I was more persistent cause it came out perfect, unique and everyone comments on it!

    I had a whole exterior re-do on my new home purchase in Clinton 2 years ago. Replaced the roof, siding, gutters, all doors etc. Burr did an amazing job! They were extremely transparent and accommodating with continuous communication during the whole project. They even painted/stained my garage door to match the front and side garage entry. This review is a bit late but I wanted to see how things held up. All is good! I definitely would hire Burr for any needed home improvement. Thank you Burr for making my home look so beautiful.     I could write an essay about why Burr is hands down the best at what they do but the executive summary is this: any contractor can install new siding and a roof. But not any contractor can TRANSFORM the exterior of your home…and Burr is one such contractor. From Changing roof design, adding design details to siding, incorporating masonry and carpentry, there is no aspect of exterior home design they can’t handle.On my project Burr cut back the roof line, removing the unsightly overhanging roof with ugly columns, and built a custom portico with bluestone landing. They also installed hardie siding with colonial sills and crown molding on all the windows. They completely renovated my screened in porch by vaulting the ceiling, installing a skylight, and dressing up the old chimney but wrapping it in white shiplap. In addition to this, they replaced four windows, four doors, and large sections of framing that was rotting.As you can see, Burr is a one stop shop. And given how all these design elements incorporate together with one another, it makes accomplishing such a project that much easier from a homeowner prospective as you are dealing with one person throughout the process. Woody really knows what he’s doing and can guide even the strongest of minded home owners like me to the right choices.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BURR ROOFING AND SIDING.

    When a tree fell on our roof, we called a number of roofing companies. Some of the estimates were pretty basic: “We’ll fix it.” In contrast, Chris from Burr gave us a detailed breakdown of what needed to be done not only to repair the damage, but to bring things up to code. Burr’s estimate was more than some others, but in the end it was definitely worth it.We ended up getting a complete new roof, two new skylights, a new flat roof, new gutters with leaf guards all around, and 5 new Marvin windows. We’re really happy with the result. The roof looks great and the new windows make such a difference with respect to sound deadening. The construction team, including foreman Scott, was very professional. We especially appreciated Brian, who did the carpentry installing the windows and Nick, who is an artist with beautiful flashing, gutters, and dealing with flat roof problems.

Communication with each step of the process was excellent, when they started they were here till completion. The quality and attention to detail were the most important aspects and they excelled in this area.     The team at Burr Roofing replaced our barn roof in February 2024. They were excellent to work with. As part of the initial process, the owner of Burr visited us for a consultation and was candid and straightforward with his thoughts and recommendations. During the project the communication was excellent - with a text thread established with the entire team that would be working on our home. Our project manager (Stew) was excellent. He visited after the roof repairs were completed to ensure that our property was left clean and the project was done well (including ensuring there were no nails left in the grass). We also felt the price we paid was incredibly fair. We plan to use Burr again for our next big roofing job on our house.

    Highly recommended! Burr installed new Hardy siding on our home six months ago. We worked with Woody, who is very knowledgeable about siding and roofing and how Hardy should be installed.     We cannot recommend Burr highly enough! Our siding project was our dream come true thanks to Woody and his incredible team. They are honest, hardworking, and straightforward. They also do more than bring your vision to life - through a design meeting we were able to see all of our options with their honest design recommendations set forth.     We hired Burr at the recommendation of our neighbor. We live in a contemporary and did not want to simply swap out our cedar siding with cement board. Fortunately Woody was able to offer the services of an architect who developed renderings based on our input. We wanted a look that while unique, fit with the rest of the neighborhood. We achieved that and so much more. The quality of the work was top notch. Our house looks amazing (our neighbors agree) - up to date and modern while not out of synch with its surroundings. The photo does not do justice to the project but does show the various materials used.

    We highly recommend Burr for Hardie siding installation. We found them on the Hardie website as the top recommended service in our area (plus they are RRP certified which is a must-have if you have any inclination that you currently have lead siding). After meeting with them, we learned that they had redone the siding on several homes in our neighborhood which looked great. When the job started, the team working on the house got the job done promptly and professionally. Since finishing the project, we have had a painter and an electrician comment (without prompting) on how well the siding job was done. That probably means more than even our own happiness because they have seen lots of other Hardie jobs! Youll be happy if you choose Burr for your siding project.2 YEARS LATER: Im coming back to add to this review that Burr is a great long-term partner. Weve now worked with them on replacing a Cast Iron Roof Boot and whenever I call them they are prompt to answer my questions. If you are looking for a long-term partner to care for your house, Burr is a great choice!

    We had roofing, siding and windows replaced. Nice workers and great attention to detail. We get many compliments on how it turned out. Ran into a bad run of roof shingles and they seamlessly replaced them after completing the roof the first time. We are pleased with the final results. Professional workmanship.

    We used Burr to remove our old siding and install Hardie plank and they did a great job! Chris was very helpful in arranging a detailed estimate and also coordinating with the city ahead of time to make sure all regulations were met. The team worked quickly and efficiently and our project manager Dylan was always responsive and keeping us informed of updates or adjustments along the way.

    Weve done three jobs with Burr on our house, and have recommended them to others.Our first was a full tear-off, window/siding/trim job with some rot repair, two new landings, and a custom portico, in mid-2019. Woody has an excellent eye for design and details, and his workers generally do a quality and careful job. This was a big project, and communication was occasionally lacking. It seems that Burr was growing and onboarding new people at this time, and they were spread a bit thin. That said, the house came out beautiful, and we get many compliments on the complete update of our exterior.We called them back for a few other smaller jobs at the end of 2020 and late 2021 (a roof and skylight replacement) and communication was much improved, the work was high quality as expected, and we were happy with all follow up.I would definitely recommend them.

    We used Burr Roofing and Siding recently for a project to replace our clapboard siding on our 1830s house with Arctic White Hardie Board along with replacing a number of windows with Marvin Elevate windows.We had used Burr at another house about 8 years ago and had such a great experience that we decided to use them again. The sales process is very straightforward and thorough, Woody does a great job of ensuring that all details are documented leaving you with a feeling that you are making the right choice. He is extremely knowledgeable in all things siding and windows and is a pleasure to work with.Our project was delayed due to supply chain issues because of the pandemic, no fault of Burr. We had heard that Davidson is the most meticulous and wanted to work with him, so waited for him to become available and we are glad we did. His level of detail is impeccable, he was also a pleasure to work with, an extremely hard work who also left the job site clean (which is very important). He sometimes worked for days by himself, hes so talented!We had a number of windows installed (10+) and had two different crews (John and Brian) and (Sybi and Eddi), who were amazing to watch and did a fantastic job. We had two windows that were a bit more tricky to deal with, so they took a bit more time, but Burr never left us feeling like it was going to be a problem. The level of craftsmanship when adding the trim around the windows on the inside was very high. Sybi told us that he tries his hardest not to use caulk, that means hes that good!Dylan was added to our project towards the end as a project manager, he is very responsive and easy to work with. Towards the end, we had a few loose ends and Dylan came over and walked through all of them and the actions he would take to resolve them.Woody also has provided us many recommendations of other contractors to work with who have all worked out well for us. Luis (the electrician) did an amazing job, is very easy to work with and very affordable. He also recommended a mason (who did some driveway work for us, a good suggestion by Woody) and a garage door company (who installed new doors for us).I would highly recommend working with Burr, for a siding and windows project. They have a great crew of highly skilled and talented individuals. We have had many, many compliments on our house, thanks to Burr!

    The team at Burr is very helpful. They are knowledgeable and are comfortable in making commitments. They know their suppliers and have a large team to call in last minute to ensure the job gets done. We needed a new roof and chimney repair and in the process rotten wood was replace and then new siding where applicable.I would use them again for my other house projects.

    The entire team at Burr is incredible - friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and true craftspeople. From the initial planning meeting where every detail is reviewed and explained, to the status updates leading up to the project, to the crew on site taking great care with every detail and the highest level of quality. We have used them for two projects now - replacing three exterior doors, and siding the house with Hardie Board. The result is stunning - it looks like a brand new house.     Burr just completed our entire exterior home renovation with new Hardiboard Siding and new Marvin windows. We are so happy with the end results. From the start we were very impressed. Woody provided an extremely detailed estimate listing step by step what the process would be like. I cant praise the team enough. From Sydney managing our many requests in the office, to their Roofer Nick, who was such a pleasure to have working at our house and made us truly feel we had the best of the best working on our home. Brian and John did fantastic carpentry work replaced our windows and front door. Cant forget to mention Christian and his team of siders that worked for three weeks in the freezing cold and truly didnt miss one detail. The project was managed by Brian McDonald and he was always available for any issues that we had and took care of everything. I recommend Burr for any roofing, siding and exterior needs! We are so happy with what looks like a brand new home!

    Woody (the owner) and some of his guys came out Christmas eve just before sundown to tarp of my roof and make sure i made it through an impending monsoon of rain. I have a leaky skylight and they wanted to make sure it didnt ruin my Christmas. They will be back after the holidays to fix it for good. Ive been losing sleep over this leak and they gave me piece of mind when i needed it most. I cant say enough about how much i appreciate their efforts. I would recommend Burr roofing to anyone that needs any work done on their homeUPDATE: After some expert detective work from the team at Burr, they discovered my problem was not related to my skylight but it was another issue.     These guys are great! I had all of my windows (6 downstairs, 9 upstairs, 5 basement) replaced by Burr. The communication leading up to & during the job was excellent. They were super responsive to all of my questions. I always new their plan for the day. Their workmanship is top notch, too. The trim work looks really good. They were diligent in keeping the house clean during the job & the professional window cleaning before they finished the job was a nice touch. I have modern (energy efficient), perfectly functioning windows on a century old house now. I love it! Id recommend Burr to anyone needing new windows on their house.
