Brian renovated a shower for us a few years ago and a full bath and tub shower and half bath this month. His workmanship is first class, he is efficient and neat. He is a pleasure to work with, does his work on time and budget. Highly recommended. -

Brian has worked on our home for almost 25 years. Over the years, he has renovated three bathrooms, kitchen, completely finished our basement, installed new windows and doors, built amazing built-ins and, constructed a beautiful deck and shed (which has so far lasted over 20 years), re-sided the house, replaced the roof, and repaired tons of termite damage.. He is ready to roll with surprises and be creative.Brians competence is unequalled and we recommend him to everyone. He has--and meets--the highest standards, uses high quality materials, and works cleanly. And he listens. He has renovated about 85% of the house and will renovate the remaining 15% in the future. Our house is perfect and we love it! -

Brian and his team did an extensive remodel and addition, including a new kitchen, bedroom, handicapped accessible bath ,garage and deck, put on new siding and roof. He tore down an old garage, removed a sun porch and outbuilding and remodeled an existing bath. This was a big and complicated project done, partly in conjunction with the VA , to adapt a 1940 Cape to a handicap accessible residence for my husband, who was a disabled veteran. Brian worked diligently with my out of town architect to meet my husbandβs needs and the VA requirements, and provide us with a functional, attractive home.Brian was personable, upfront, easy to communicate with and always responsive to my calls and questions, of which there were many. He was reliable and, while there were the occasional complications expected in a large project, Brian managed them well and to my satisfaction.I appreciated Brianβs work ethic and attention to detail. I was very pleased with the final result and remain so several years post renovation. -

Brian did a complete bathroom remodel for me. He took down a walk to expand the space and had to relocate plumbing for the new location of toilet and shower. It is the only bathroom in the house and he planned everything out so that the toilet was always in working condition and when he left each day the bathroom was always still functional. He even added in custom lighting to the vanity top. His work and professionalism was top notch. He was on time and within budget. Iβm definitely going to be using him on my next project. -

We highly recommend Rupp Builders for any work you might want to do in your house. Brian communicated very well with us throughout our project of remodeling our kitchen and bath. And the final work was great! Excellent quality and workmanship. We highly recommend Brian and his subcontractors! -

Brian remodeled my bathroom according to VA standards for handicapped accessibility. What was a standard bath was transformed into oasis so much so that my teenaged daughter has taken it over.Highly recommend Brian for any remodel but especially for any VA upgrades as he is knowledgeable with the process! -

Brian converted our mudroom/garage area into a large pantry and office space. From the beginning Brian communicated with us efficiently and was very professional. He spent over an hour at our house to provide an accurate estimate and fully understand the scope of the project.Brian is hands on and takes pride in his work. He took care of a portion of the demo and even installed the insulation himself when the lead time for the subcontractor was too long.We had a few changes in design during the project but Brian was happy to accommodate and price accordingly. The subcontractors he coordinated with did excellent work and we felt comfortable with them coming and going as they needed.Overall the estimate he provided was spot on and he completed the job in less time than we expected. He did a great job scheduling inspections to make sure the project stayed on track. We would absolutely recommend Brian and would hire him again if we needed more work completed. -

Brian remodeled our kitchen, downstairs half bath, and back hall. He did an outstanding job as did his subcontractors (kitchen designer, plumber, electrician, tiler, hardware floor installer, and painter.). The job took a bit longer than estimated because of Covid-caused supply chain issues with cabinets and other materials, none of which were Brians fault. Brian installed cabinets, windows, and hood. His carpentry was meticulous. His painter misses a spot behind the bathroom sink. Brian noticed this himself on the final inspection. When the painter took too long to fix the problem, Brian painted the area himself, after going to the paint store to get the paint. We were brand new to remodeling and fully of worries and questions. Brian responded immediately to all our text messages, with infinite patience and courtesy. Our experience on this project confirmed the high praise that he had received from the five references that we checked before going with Brian.A key reason for choosing Brian was a brilliant suggestion that he made for solving the biggest design problem with the kitchen remodeling: how to enclose the exposed washer and drier along the wall between the kitchen and the half bath. He suggested creating an enclosed laundry closet by moving the wall behind the washer and drier a foot into the space occupied by the half bath. It had never occurred to us that this was possible and none of the other contractors suggested a solution other than just leaving the washer and drier as they were. We are delighted with the closet, which now serves not only to conceal the washer and drier, but also as a small pantry. In sum, we could not have been more pleased with Brian and his work. -

We just purchased and moved into a new-construction home built by Brian and his team (Rupp Builders). The home was largely finished at purchase, with some remaining options for customization. Working with Brian to put those finishing touches on was great: he was responsive, had interesting and unique ideas, and ultimately spent the extra time to get all of the small details exactly the way we wanted them. We also had him do some additional custom jobs, like built-in shelves/bookcases, and custom stair rails and balusters. His work was excellent. We would highly recommend reaching out to Brian for any remodel/custom jobs. Top-notch work, focused, and a pleasure to work with. It was clear from the start that he actually cared about the quality of his work and the happiness of the client.
