We first met Ryan Davis, owner of Davis WoodScapes, when he built a large pergola for our outdoor kitchen and dining area. This was a substantial project that he handled with great skill. He brought interesting designs, including some quite unusual approaches to providing more than the usual amount of shade from a pergola. He did this in cooperation with another craftsman that he knew and the two of them collaborated to produce a quite unique and striking solution of copper leaves attached to the top of the pergola. The attention that he showed during the design phase was also evident in the construction phase. He was meticulous in the design and construction, paying close attention to the littlest detail and the result was a grand pergola that has consistently amazed our guests when we entertain in this area. After this project, we subsequently engaged Ryan to do other projects since we were so impressed with the initial work. These included a trellis (more like a long fence) to allow our landscape gardens to grow and create a natural privacy fence as well as a unique arbor with seats that serves as the entry and focal point to the garden. These two projects were also completed with meticulous attention to detail and have quite a distinctive appearance. The last project was to create the new light post for the front of the house and this, too, demonstrated Ryans skill and capability in design and construction. He was also helpful in engaging subcontractors to handle other aspects of the project. Our great experience with Ryan in creating beautiful structures for our gardens has been really quite wonderful and we would enthusiastically recommend him for any project, especially if you desire something that is special and unique for your property.
