    Tim/ Drains Inc is responsive, knowledgeable and respectful. We called looking for help and he was here fixing the problem. Explained in detail what was happening, why, and how to fix it. This is our first time on a well/sewer with a pool and he has just had a wealth of knowledge. Offering explanation and solutions for a reasonable cost. Our sinks now run properly, shower isnt losing pressure, spigot isnt spraying all over when turned on, pool is filling and our well is maintaining.     I have been dealing with sewer smell, sewer back-up, and rats in my basement for many months without much progress after multiple contractors and plumbers. I began the screening process again and found Tim to listen and problem-solve better than any other professional. His expertise really came through at multiple stages of the project. During his camera scope he identified problems not previously picked up. During the repair phase he talked me through the process and was very thorough and organized in his work. During final phase, he came back to hydrojet and rod the entire sewer system out to the city line and provided additional repairs to broken waters lines and gaps in the concrete floor. In the end, Tim did a major repair digging out our front yard to access and repair the sewer line. Tim was very professional, very responsive, and always did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The majority of the smell has dissipated and, for the first time, I have some peace of mind.

    Tim was incredibly responsive and on time. He discovered a problem that even my home inspector didn’t find that was the leading cause of water in my crawlspace. He was able to fix it immediately and it saved me a giant amount of work down the road. Very happy with his work and his prices were reasonable and fair.     Drains Inc. has handled multiple very challenging plumbing problems at my house. They are fair, responsive, and do the job right the first time. I had a sewer pipe cracked at my house and at the attachment point to the main sewer. My sewer is 10 feet underground and the water table is high. Not only did they excavate and properly repair both connections they also put in a clean-out designed to be flushed to the ground and never to break. Other contractors who have come to work on my house take pictures of the work they have done. It’s that good. They replaced my sump pump, battery back up, and ejector pump. My power has failed nine times sometimes for hours and always when it’s raining. My sump pump has never failed. They use the best stuff, and always at a very fair price. Not once have they recommended I do some thing that didn’t need to be done. The owner is always looking for ways to pass on savings to the customers. I don’t do a lot of reviews but I can safely say that I only call them if I have a plumbing issue.

    If I could give Tim and Pedro more than 5 stars I would. I had been working with American Vintage on a sewer issue that backed up into my garage and drive way. I have been doing business with for a long time so I had faith in them. We had been working on the issue for 2 weeks trying to fix the problem. Over that period of time they rodded 2x and water jetted 1x and camera scoped each time. They could not get the sewer to flow. I also had been working with the City of Evanston to ensure the main line was ok, which it was . The last camera scope they took on Thur was the same, they could not see anything because there was too much water and they could not tell what the blockage was. They said they had to executive because they believed the lateral was partially detached from the City main line. This was on last Thurs and I was waiting for a quote to dig up everything to repair the damage. I spoke with The City of Evanston to get their input and they stated from there last video inspection of the main system back in 2020 they saw sand and a very large blockage but they could not tell which customer lateral that was. I proceed to contact other companies to obtain a quote and I ran into Drains, Inc. Tim listened to my story and asked a lot of questions to make sure he understood what was done or not done. We decided on him coming out to rod, jet and scope the sewer line. If he could not do it then he would give me a quote to dig up the system. Needless to say they did it! It took a while with using the rodder only with different head sized and digging in and pulling out many times. They found a massive root ball at the end and they discovered another clean out that was put in at some point in time not by me. We had water following. The basin drop 2 with a big gush. I have never been so happy to see sewer move along. Tim is great. He knows what he is doing. He is fair and his pricing is in line with the industry. If you are in doubt do not be. He has so many good reviews because he is that good. Thank you Tim and Pedro you guys rock.

    It is a pleasure to review Drains Inc! I had problems with roots growing into my drain tiles. I had two other reputable plumbing companies look at the issue and both were suggesting that I hire them to do work that would never have solved the problem and would still cost thousands of dollars with no guarantees. I saw an ad for Drains Inc and called them for another opinion. They came and looked at the issue and immediately knew exactly what needed to be done. They quoted an exact price as well as the schedule for completion and the job was completed exactly as proposed and on the exact schedule. These guys really know their stuff!

    There were 131 5-star reviews before me, and Im happy to be the 132nd. Tim at Drains Inc is absolutely incredible to work with. He responded to a clogged drain situation that I was having and couldnt fix myself. He came to my house at the exact time he said he would and was remarkably friendly and easy to talk to. He went straight to work and identified why I had been having problems quickly (I have an old house and I have a drum trap instead of a p-trap). When he identified that, he was a little concerned that the solution might not be as easy as initially thought. However, he kept at it, and really seemed invested in making sure that I could fix the issue in a cost-effective manner. When he was able to access the blockage using traditional methods, I think he was as stoked as I was! We chatted a bit while he put his tools away and he gave me an idea of what to expect moving forward with my drain. His mantra is maintenance, maintenance, maintenance and I appreciated him telling me that. Overall, my experience with Tim and Drains Incorporated couldnt possibly have gone any better.     Tim was recommended to me by my realtor and I was glad I did! He was professional and understood my issue. My pipe from the house to the septic tank had issues and needed to be replaced.     Tim did an awesome job from beginning to end of connecting my sump pump discharge line to the city storm drain. My yard was flooding this spring and I didnt have many options of where to run the line. Drains, Inc has a great reputation with my village and he was easily able to help secure a permit for this type of job (which is not often permitted). Tim explained the details of the job to me clearly and communicated efficiently all throughout the process. He was very well priced compared to other estimates I had.     We were looking for a solution to flooding in our back yard. Our village engineer discussed several options, and we decided a drain in the back of the yard with a drain pipe connecting to the villages storm sewer would be the best for us.     My house has a retention area with a drain to help move the water. The drain was clogged and I called Tim out. He unclogged it and put a camera in to see what was going on and he found the drainage pipe had collapsed and needed to be cut out and replaced.     Drains Inc. is your answer. Period.I first called one of the Rooter businesses and completely regret it. The guy was either inexperienced or an idiot. He charged me $300 and left me hanging.Tim (owner) and Adam (apprentice) came out and kicked butt. My house is a relatively new purchase. We found out my line not only runs through the neighbors yard, it runs under their breezeway and into their front yard. And the house is for sale and vacant. Tim took control, tracked down the owner, got permission to dig in their yard not once, but twice, and got the job done. Tim was making calls on his own time to help get the project done in as soon as possible and with as little inconvenience to me as possible. Communication was great throughout.Seriously, if you are looking for a plumber that will go the extra mile, get the job done right, and someone you can flat out trust, its Drains Inc. Never once did I feel that I was being taken advantage of or that the job was being mishandled. Tim is a small businessman that cares about his work and his customers.     I had Drains Inc. perform two projects. The first was to replace a old clay sewer line from the house to the septic tank that had broken. The second was to hydro plug a septic line and abandon a pit that was a remnant of a old 1950s era septic system.Both jobs were done quickly and at a reasonable price. Tim the owner is very responsive, & knowledgeable. When a small issue arose from some concrete settling while curing Tim took care of it as soon as the weather allowed. This speaks to his desire to make sure his clients are satisfied with the quality of work. I would highly recommend his services.

    Called Drains Inc in the afternoon to come repair a clogged/slow drain. Tim showed up the same day (late in the afternoon ) and fixed the clog with a power rodder, he also did a visual inspection (camera) and showed me the blockage in the outside sewer line. He left in the early evening after setting up date to come back out and replace the sewer line. He arrived as scheduled and replaced the line out to the sidewalk in what I consider record time. He is very courteous and explains what they doing and will show you his progress. I would highly recommend Drains Inc to anyone that needs plumbing work done, friendly, courteous, and a great price.

    We have lived in our home for almost 14 years and we have needed to have someone clean the main line between the house and city sewer once a year to clear clogs. I spoke with Tim after our line clogged only months after being opened in November of 2022 and I was determined to figure out if we had a defect in the line or just a really bad blockage. He was very professional, informative, and upfront about pricing (which was quite competitive with others that I spoke with).He and Pedro showed up at the agreed upon time, asked a few historical questions, and got to work. They rodded the line and then followed it with a camera but could not see due to a buildup of standing black water. They rodded two more times and although the line was clear, the camera could not get a clean image (and could not pass a known point of obstruction). At this point, I agreed to them using a hydro-jet machine which they were able to send all the way to the city sewer (Tim had taken the time to explain before coming out that this might be needed in my case and what the cost would be). It scoured the pipe, cleared most of the dirt, and allowed for us to clearly view the entire line with the camera. Since they saw a mass of tree roots, they decided to rod the line again and pulled back a knotted mess of roots that was about the size of a melon. Again, they sent the camera down and since they were not completely satisfied, they decided to hydro-jet the line again. All in all I think that they rodded 5-6 times and jetted twice (They mustve put the camera down the pipe 7 times or so). Tim and Pedro spent almost four hours laboring over this issue and instead of just calling it quits upon clearing the blockage initially (what other plumbers did previously), they made a sincere effort to do the job right (and to completion) and prove it to both themselves and me via camera inspection (the only way to know for sure, really).I couldnt be happier and for the first time, I feel like the problem was actually solved. Tim will be the only person that Ill be contacting in the future should I need more work done. Overall an excellent experience. Thanks Tim and Pedro!

    Our kitchen sink was not draining. It turns out, around 30 feet of pipe in our basement had zero pitch, and was creating a large back up, which could not be cleared, because the water was moving too slowly to clear it.We called Drains Inc. after four (4) other plumbers visited us and could not fix the problem. Tim, with Drains Inc., was informative, and helpful on the phone, warning against scams, and offering honest and valuable feedback and information on what the process will look like.They arrived on time and fixed the problem, diagnosing issues the four other plumbers missed. Drains Inc. also charged less to fix the problem and, repair the pipe than the four other plumbers estimated.Great work, honest and informative. Highly recommended, my family now has its permanent plumber. We will call them again for any plumbing issues in the future.

    I can not say enough about this company! My window well had flooded and I called Drains Inc. based on their reviews and they did not disappoint. Tim came out to my house and looked at the problem and it ended up not being as big of an issue as we thought it was going to be. It was very refreshing to deal with someone who could have very easily taken advantage of the situation and charged an astronomical amount of money and they didn’t.     Called Tim for a backed up sewer. Tim and crew arrived right when he said he would. Professional, clean and organized truck. Ran a cutter through the outside cleanout to the street. Put a camera in and saw some more roots. Cleaned out more and ran the camera in all the way into the city main sewer and then went the other way into the house.Everything is going where it is supposed to go. Happy house again.     Tim did an excellent job, he was very prompt. He told me hed be here in an hour and he kept his word. I had water in my basement sewer that wouldnt go away. I called him and he said he come out and rod out my sewer lines. Tim and his assistant did a thorough rodding of all my sewer lines and ran the camera through it all and said it was all clear now.     This company has the total package. The service was amazing and quick. I had called two other companies come out, all I can say is for what needed to be done it was like sticker shock. Tim from Drains Inc was very fair and his knowledge set me at ease knowing that it would be done right at a fair price. We will be using this company for probably everything plumbing.     Follow-up: Tim said the huge mound of clay and rocks he dug up would settle and once it did, all we would have to do is add some top soil and seed it. After an entire year, it barely settled and it took 15 wheelbarrows to remove and disburse the clay around our yard. If I could, I would take off half a star for his line of malarkey!This story started when I requested several quotes for power rodding via Yelp. Drains Inc. came in at far less than any other companies. I called Tim and he was very nice. He came out the same week on Friday and was personable and informative. Unlike the last company that supposedly did power rodding in 10 minutes, Tim and his assistant Adam spent close to two hours trying to rod our sewer.The diagnosis was that our ancient terra cotta sewer pipe had a massive hole in it and god only knows where the sewage was draining. Tim took a lot of time to explain this to us and show us the damage via camera. Tim and Adam did everything they could to clean out the sewer, but we needed major work done. So what started out as a $200 maintenance job morphed into a major $4,000 sewer repair. Tim prepared the quote and called the city immediately to see if he could expedite the permits. While it’s against my nature to accept the first quote on anything, this situation necessitated fairly rapid action and we had complete trust that Tim’s quote was fair. He also didn’t charge us for the power rodding, which was extraordinarily nice.Tim and Adam came out the following Tuesday, on the dot at 9 am, as promised. Tim operated the heavy equipment while Adam did the dirty work down in the trench. Everything went as smoothly as possible and the job was expertly done. The city inspectors came out and the work passed with flying colors. Tim really digs his work - it’s a labor of love. We came away knowing everything we ever wanted to know about sewers and then some. I highly recommend Drains Inc. for all your sewer/drain cleaning and repair needs. We would hire Tim again in a heartbeat, but hopefully won’t need to after this major expenditure!

I ended up committing to an appointment with another sewer line rodding/camera plumbing service company in the midst of those phone calls. Tim spoke to me for 15 minutes and asked about my issue and gave me some really great advice to save me money. That kind of ethics and integrity is rare these days and he really didnt have to. I am keeping my appointment with the other plumber to be respectful to my commitment to the next day appointment for basic rodding, but I am definitely calling Drains Inc the next time something in my money pit of a house decides to go wrong.     My wife and I were having flooding problems in our basement. Every time we used the toilets or ran the dishwasher or took showers for the past 2 days, the drain hole in the basement would flood. After being referred to Drains Inc by a plumber, I spoke with Tim over the phone and he was able to come out and take a look the same day. He took a look around, said I think you have a soft blockage somewhere, grabbed his partner (Adam, I believe his name was) and the rooter cable and went to work.     I have called Tim a couple of times when I needed his services and he has always been honest, on time, his prices are reasonable, and he has been about doing the job the most effective way to solve a problem. Other drainage companies I got estimates from would cut corners and try to sell me a solution that would not be as effective at solving the problem as the solutions Tim proposed doing. The last time I called Tim for his services I had a problem with a clogged sewer drain pipe in my house that caused my basement to flood with sewage backup. Tim got my drain unclogged but he didn’t just unclog the drain, take my money and leave, he investigated what caused the problem using a camera and recommended what solution would best solve the problem. Tim is now trying to work with me and my insurance company to get the problem resolved. If you ever need a storm sewer drain installed to dry up a yard with standing water or have a sewer line issue, look no further than Tim. His company is the best and most reasonable for the job.

    Good plumbers are hard to find, Tim was recommended another plumber who was out of town. Tim gave us an estimate over the phone, every thing was done right the first time. They arrived on time, rodded the mainline to the street, cleared out all the roots, returned a full flow, cleaned up, gave us a 6 month guarantee and didnt charge us a penny more than the quoted price.     What a fantastic company! Tim at Drains Inc was professional, honest, and confident in his abilities to resolve the plumbing issue I was having. After Tim fixed the issue, I learned there was a clog at the main sewer drain, over 100 feet out from my home. I couldnt drain any water in the house. Before he came, I had another plumber out that could not even touch the clog with high powered rodder equipment. Tim came in and said he was 100% confident that he could fix the issue, and he did. The company van is equipped with any equipment that might be needed, and it ended up being a high powered water jet stream piece of equipment that did the job. I viewed the entire pipeline with him as he had a camera running through the whole pipe. The cost was great compared to what other plumbers were recommending. Tim said I did not need the work done that was being recommended to me by other plumbers, which would have been thousands of dollars. Tims total cost was less than 1,000, and considering what he was able to do, I considered that a bargain. Obviously highly recommend this place! He was also referred to me by my neighbor.

    My brother referred me to Tim at Drains Inc. I left a voice mail and he called be back in less than an hour. My neighbor and I share a waste line and we needed to rod out their sink due to slow draining. After rodding for a bit he mentioned that we should hydro jet the line for a longer lasting solution to the problem. There was no point where I thought I was being up sold. His vehicle, equipment and assistant along with his genuine and honest assessment of the situation made me comfortable with the slightly higher price for what is considered to be an industry standard for properly clearing drain lines. He was in and out in less time than he quoted and worked fast and clean.     I highly recommend Drains Inc.. Tim responded to my call immediately and set up the appointment for the very next day to fix the blockage in the pipes. Tim went above and beyond to fix the issue and did so in a professional and very timely manner. Tim also called to follow up with me to make sure everything was working OK.
