Ive used them twice. Once for installing my smoke detectors and once to hang a new light outside. Theyre the only ones that are not overpriced. They are professional and show up on time and are quick. Last time we had Kyle as the electrician. Editing to add that Ive now used them 3 times and theyve always been really good. A good company to work with if you own a home.

When we had an internet tech drill a hole through our wall and accidentally severed an electrical wire, the tech’s supervisor called Brent and he responded within the hour. Brent was very friendly and solved the problem promptly. I would highly recommend.

We are so pleased with the service we received from Dakota Electric this week. It was a small job of installing a closet light so I didn’t expect to hear from them anytime soon. Tyler came prepared with everything he needed to do the job quickly and efficiently. He was professional and friendly and even cleaned up the area when he was done. I will definitely contact Dakota Electric for any future electrical needs.

I can not sing the praises of this company enough. Our kitchen remodel had been a nightmare until Dakota Electric. They are professional, through, and always on time if not early. Being a home owner and having no skill Ive had to hire out all repairs from plumbing to carpeting, windows, ac etc. Hiring Dakota Electric was the most impressive and stress free service every time. I grew to rely on them for all and any electrical needs. They are fast, effective, friendly and most importantly reliable. Ive used them for 5 years for any electrical needs. Its hard finding companies you can trust, and Dakota Electric is one you can trust. I highly recommend them!

Good ideas and execute a plan quickly. We used (and still using) them on a new house, garage, and multiple projects on the ranch. 👍🏻

I had the pleasure of working with Brent and all the guys over at Dakota electric. I am a superintendent for DSM Property Services out of Urbandale, Iowa. We remodeled 14 Yesway convenience stores around the Rapid City area, and a couple other projects as well. When we came out for the first 7 stores I gave Brent a call with only a weeks notice. The first store we did in Custer Adam and Jason showed up on time, and prepared for everything I threw at them that day. From the first store to the last in hot springs DSM received 2nd to none service from Dakota Electric. Their professionalism, and attention to detail is something to be recognized. If you have any electrical projects I highly recommend Dakota Electric for the project big or small.

I hired Dakota Electric to wire up a garage, they showed up when they said they would and performed the work very professionally. They cleaned up at the completion and left the space as it was. I will use them for all our needs in the future.
