I know the Generator Guys are a dealer but I consider them to be my partner as they did a great job installing my 22kw unit. I also purchased an extended warranty at a great price and they perform the yearly service. Also, if a storm is coming, I receive an email in advance to check for any RED lights on the generator and to be sure, I have some extra oil for longer operating emergencies. From the service end, Adam does a great job and he answers any questions I may have. I highly recommend the Generator Guys if you are thinking about installing a backup generator.

10/6/22 - I wholeheartedly recommend The Generator Guys of CT for installation and maintenance of home generators. They are responsive, professional, friendly, and perform top notch service. My generator runs flawlessly. It saved the day when I had a 67 hour power outage after the hurricane in Aug 2020. The guys keep their customer base in the loop before, during, and after major storms. Ive been a customer since 2014 and plan to continue to be for many years to come!Original review:Raj, Adam, and Kevin did a great job, and were very responsive. Adam came out and did the initial site survey, and to my pleasant surprise, he didnt t try to oversell me on a unit bigger than I needed. So, I received an estimate and we were off and running.I had a bit of a problem initially, since there seemed to be no propane dealers in my area who would rent tanks for generator use only. Well, Raj did the research, made the calls, and found a propane dealer who would rent tanks to me for the generator.Raj sent some of his guys to dig the trench for the propane pipe and electrical conduit. Adam and Kevin installed the unit beautifully. They handled the permits, were there for the inspection, and took their time teaching me how to use it.I would highly recommend The Generator Guys LLC to install your unit!

The Generator Guys installed my generator 4 years ago. The installation was seamless and void of any issues whatsoever. In addition, the servicing, which is actually more important than the original setup, has been first class.Raj always responds to my inquiries either via phone or e-mails in a more than timely manner. Adam is a great guy who is extremely knowledgeable and competent servicing the generator. Kevin also worked on the smooth installation process.Anyone who would not consider them for their generator needs would be doing themselves a disservice.In summary, I have been nothing less than extremely happy and satisfied with The Generator Guys.

When shopping for a company to install a generator, I interviewed several companies, and this was by far the one that instilled the most confidence. That confidence was earned, as in the first few months after installation, the unit showed some hiccups in showing warning lights, etc. It was one of those unusual hardware issues but Adam was very diligent in diagnosing the problem and did not rest until it was resolved.Any time I have contacted them with a question, I received a prompt, professional and courteous response.We had a recent week long outage, and our unit performed flawlessly.I am very pleased, and recommend this company highly.Bob

Always a great experience from providing an estimate to great customer service, no one does it better. After losing power for a few days during the spring storms we had a slight issue with the unit, Adam spent a few days monitoring it to determine the problem, he would even drop by if he was in the area to check on the status. We are very pleased with the Guys!

Its not everyday that you decide to install a standby generator but after losing power (no central air) for over a week, during Tropical Storm Isaias, in an unbearable heatwave in CT August 2020, I said I will never go through this again! After Googling Generators Danbury CT luck was on my side and The Generator Guys popped up! I was impressed with the info they provided on their website, including costs and types of generators provided and of course their reviews. I could tell Raj is honest, hard working, and loves his job. They were in process of ordering 66 generators and I knew I needed to be part of that.. so I instantly ordered a WiFi 22kw model with concrete pad, drove up to Southbury and dropped off my $7k deposit check asap. I was so relieved knowing I was in good hands. The generator was delivered quickly. I decided to install a 500 gallon propane tank in the ground so I didnt have to see the tank, and Raj coordinated everything from beginning to end, including town permits. Super professional team and all very nice to work with. From the excavator guy, the propane company, the electrician installing the transfer switch to the service guys giving me instructions on how to maintain the generator and check the LEDs every month. Raj is easy to reach and responds asap via email or text (perfect!) Thanks a million Raj!!! Kim

In the Spring of 2017 we contacted the Generator Guys using their website at night to price having a whole house standby propane fueled generator installed. Adam contacted me the following day and we met with him later that day. He told us the options that would meet our needs and the next day we received a detailed estimate. Once the Generator Guys received the Generator from Generac they contacted us and arranged a day to install it, a Transfer switch, wire hook ups and main panel wire modifications. Adam and Kevin were professional as well as leaving the house and property in excellent shape. They also handled the communications with the propane company for the installation of an inground 500 gallon propane tank and it’s hook up to the Generator and our propane grill.The Town of Southbury approved the installed system.This spring (2018) Adam performed the Generator service ( no issues and changed the oil).The Generator worked flawlessly during the 72 hours we were without Eversource power as a result of the May 15, 2018 Southbury Tornado.To Sum up the above: We are 100% pleased with their work, the products they sold, Adam, Kevin, Raj and their services.David and Sheryl Lipman.

These guys were absolutely phenomenal in the wake of the tropical storm this past summer. Our generator stalled out one evening right before bath and bed time for our two young children (were on well water, and it was 90 degrees). We called Adam - who was busy helping dozens of others in need - but got a call back from Raj within minutes. He walked me through exactly what to do - which worked - and assured me Adam would be out the next day to service the unit, which he was. A few days later - still without power - we overloaded the generator and Adam patiently walked me through exactly what to do and it worked. Its challenging to have no power when you have well water and two young kids and I couldnt have asked for better service, after normal business hours nonetheless. You see a businesss true colors during challenging times and they were 5 stars across the board. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
