We had a great experience. They arrived promptly for our appointment. They solved our plumbing issue very quickly (where another company spent hours and were unable to fix it), and since there was left over time on our appointment our plumber was able to teach us about ways to prevent future problems. Great experience!

They were able to squeeze me in this afternoon, on short notice (lost heating late last night). Ultimately the problem was bigger than just a thermostat and required a part that would take them a while to have shipped, so they recommended another company here in town to finish the job. Thanks for the honesty and for climbing that rickety old painters ladder! I still owe ya a beer, catch me around town playing music, its on me, cheers!

We had a water heater installed by Chavez Plumbing about 3 years ago, had a problem a week or so ago. They came out and solved my pilot light problem in minutes and at no charge! 5 star value and ethics.

We heard, what sounded like a leak, under our house. We have a home warranty, so the home warranty company sent out a plumbing service from Reno. The technician crawled under the house and did not locate a wet area, but he heard the leak. The plumbing company then sent out their Leak Detection Technician with audio equipment. He determined the leak was between the stop and drain valve and the stem wall of the house. I spent 2-3 hours digging up the valve and under the stem wall. I didnt find the leak.I then called Chavez Plumbing. Their Technician came out, crawled under the house and determined there wasnt a leak at all. Instead we have a problem with the pressure relief valve on the water heater, the upstairs shower valve, and the kitchen sink. He fixed them all in an hour or two.I will recommend Chavez plumbing to anyone. They have a customer for life!! Thank you Chavez Plumbing.

Chavez plumbing was great. They were easy to schedule with, came out between the times we set up and fixed our leaking sewage line quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone in South Lake Tahoe

Francisco is the man. I’m a GC in South Lake Tahoe and recently had a plumber do bad work on a project and it didn’t pass inspection. I hired Francisco with Chavez plumbing to help come fix the issues. He was able to identify and resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. He tore out the other plumbers work and did everything correct. He’s very professional and hard working. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a plumber in South Lake Tahoe. He’s definitely the most reliable. The other big name plumbers in town don’t do nearly as good of work as Chavez plumbing. Francisco and team are the only plumbers in south lake I’d recommend. Last minute call to them had Juan coming out at the end of the day, the day before Thanksgiving. Within an hour he replaced a broken, leaking garbage disposal and the bill was very reasonable. So thrilled and appreciative!
