    Ed and his son came out to replace our hot water heater and water softner. They showed up when they said they would and got the work done on time. We have had them do work for us before which is why we called them back.The price came in at the price he quoted and we are very pleased with the outcome!     These guys were great and easy to work with! We recieved 3 quotes for some copper pipe repair in our basement. They were right in the ballpark as everyone else but we could tell right away they were the ones we wanted to hire as they were local and family ran. Great looking work and cleaned up after themselves. We will hire them again!

    Had a great experience working with Convenient Plumbing. They turned my Thursday night nightmare into an early Friday morning solution. My water heater broke down and Ed and his son Jeremy came the very next morning to diagnose the problem. After a discussion about the cost to repair versus the cost to replace (10 yr old heater), I decided to replace the unit. They replaced the unit within a few hours. Fast, efficient and honest. Straight forward communication, no upselling or pressure. Rare to find these days. Highly recommended.

    Sometimes you need more than five stars. That is the case with Ed and, his son Jeremys, business. Professional, caring, fair, clean and most importantly, they know what theyre doing. After my 25 year old water heater went kaput, I gave Convenient a call. I spoke with Ed and by lunchtime the next day, I had a splashy, new water heater!     Great Prompt service from Ed and his Son. They installed a Water Softener for me. They did a Great job. I called them the day before Thanksgiving because my water pressure was low. Ed told me what to do over the phone to get the water pressure going and, also told me what I needed to replace for no charge. They are honest and fair, I went with them for my water softener.

    Excellent service. Replaced my water heater in less than 2 hours. Ed and his son, Jeremy, are excellent people who are very knowledgeable and friendly.     I called Convenient Plumbing to look into a battery back up/sump pump system. I was especially pleased to find out this is a father/son run company. Ed explained to me the benefits/risks of buying a system from a big box store, and explained the advantages of the system he recommended.Ed and his son came out the next day and installed the system he recommended. I have lived in this house for 20 years and they were the best plumbers I have ever used. They installed a system very professionally, even taping the cables and wrapping extra cables. I recommend you try these guys. You will not be sorry.

    These guys are honest and efficient professionals. We were desperate for help when our basement ejector pump failed and the water started backing up. I placed a call on Sunday, got an immediate call back. Ed even had the presence of mind to remind me to turn off the attached water softener, to prevent overflow from the flooded basin.The next day I was only able to stay at home for a two hour window. Ed arrived on time, had a replacement pump ready, and quickly installed it. In 45 minutes flat, the old pump was replaced, all the water pumped and the work area cleaned up like nothing had even happened there!And the price for all this? Very very reasonable. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Clearly superior service.

    These guys were great. I hired them to install my water softener. They came over ahead of the appointment to make sure they knew exactly what they were dealing with and give an accurate estimate. For the actual job, they showed up on time and completed in two hours just as they said they would. The work is solid and very clean looking. Most importantly, they were straightforward, honest and helpful. I would trust them again with any future plumbing project.

    Ed and Jeremy from Convenient Plumbing are the BEST!! They fixed a leak in my bathroom shower wall 6 months ago and did a great job. Today they installed a new garbage disposal and kitchen faucet. They are clean and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber!!

    Excellent honest old-school plumbers. I called them last week because my water heater quit working. They came out and realized there was lots of dust in the unit so they cleaned it with a compressor and wet-vac. The gas still wouldnt stay lit. So he suggested I order two parts. He could have done that and charged me a markup. And even though the cleaning procedure needed to be done anyway, he wouldnt charge me for the house call or cleaning because he was leaving my house and I still had no hot water. I ordered the parts. Ed called me a day later and said he found a piece of broken fuse as he emptied the wet vac. He said that might be the problem also and that he had an extra one lying around. So he came the next day with the spare fuse and it fixed the problem. I can send the other parts back. He barely charged me for the fuse and his bill for the two visits (At least three hours total time here) was less than what I paid a plumber ten years ago to install a faucet that took 45 minutes.

    Weve used Convenient Plumbing for years, for smaller jobs and a large one (roughing in plumbing in basement last fall) and theyve always done a spectacular job. When roughing the plumbing the inspector even told me well literally never have plumbing concerns in our basement because of how great of a job they did!Ed & Jeremy are extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and very responsive.Weve recommended Convenient Plumbing to several friends and family members, and I dont easily do that unless I know who Im referring does a great job.

    These guys were great. By chance they were scheduled to replace my water heater during the polar vortex. I figured theyd want to reschedule but they came out and took care of the installation no problem. They were extremely conscientious, courteous, and quick, bringing several aspects of the water heater up to code that werent properly done when the house was first built.Not only this, they helped me scrape ice out from under my garage door to help keep a pipe from freezing in my garage, checked that my furnace vent wasnt blocked with snow, and gave me several other pieces of advice on how to care for my home during extreme cold (which, as a relatively new homeowner, I definitely appreciated).Overall Ed really went above and beyond and I highly recommend this company.

    I needed my water meter changed, but the city required that I update my shut off valves. I looked up Plumbers using the online yellow pages and found great reviews from previous customers of Convenient Plumbing. I gave them a call and they were here the next day at 8:00 waiting for the city to shut off my water. They quoted me the price over the phone and stayed true to their quote. They were in and out in a very short time and did a very professional job. I will call them again when I need any plumbing work done.

    These guys are the best! I’ve used them for the few times that I’ve needed a plumber and would never think of calling anyone else. Called today for a backed up kitchen sink, they happened to be in the area and came right over. In and out in no time and my drains work like new. Even did an extra check and tightened the pipes for me after my attempt to “fix” myself. Took the time to tarp everything before bringing in their equipment.     They are now my go to plumbing company. Called 3 different plumbers. Ed called me back within minutes and stopped by within 15 to take a look at what needed to be done. Quoted me on the spot, scheduled to have the village shut off the water a few days later and was here a few minutes after the water was turned off.     Just want to update my post to add that we have continued to use Ed for the three years since we first made this post. Every time Ed has come through for me. From leaking pipes to a new water softener, Ive trusted him for all my needs and will continue to use him in the future. ORIGINAL POST: Simply awesome. We had sewage backed up into the house from a clogged line just outside our foundation. I called Ed late at night. He had an existing dig job scheduled for the morning, and would be out in the afternoon. He called back minutes later to say that he understood how stressful this could be for a homeowner, and that he would make a special trip out, prior to going to the other dig job. Very professional. Would definitely use them again. Edit, Ed came back the next day with a corrected fitting for my clean out pipe, replaced it, and returned a $20 difference in part price!

    Thought I had an issue with my plumbing, I just bought a 110 year old home and had no water pressure in my kitchen sink. I thought I would have to change all my pipes to copper and was prepared to spend a small fortune. I called Ed with Convenient Plumbing and he came and took a look at my plumbing, instead of giving me a price to change over to copper he told me it was not necessary because my pipes were fine, all the issue was was a small o ring in the faucet!!! Ed changed that and now I have no issues at all!!! Instead of ripping me off for all new pipes (we are talking THOUSANDS) Ed said no reason to spend money unnecessarily. Thank you Ed

    I called Convenient plumbing on Thanksgiving all the water in my house had stopped flowing.Being on a well I expected the worst. Without running water we didnt even have toilets.I left a message expecting someone to get back to me the next day (it was thanksgiving day). Ed got back to me that day asked a bunch of questions and said he likely knew what the issue was. He said if he had had the part he would have come out on Thanksgiving. He came out early the next day and diagnosed the problem it was what he had expected and had the water running within 15 minutes.On top of that the price for the service call was extremely reasonable. Just want to Thank Ed for taking the time during a holiday to come help us out. I highly recommend Convenient and will be calling them again for any plumbing needs I have.

    Would give them 10 stars if I could!! They just installed a new water softener in my house. They were $300 cheaper than the other estimate we got.     We recently had Convenient come out to repair/replace an ejector pump. The father-son team showed up 10 minutes early, examined the problem, gave a reasonable estimate, replaced the pump. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, respectful and a pleasure to deal with. They went above and beyond what was required with the call, e.g. reconnecting our water softener. We also had a problem with a Kohler fixture in our bathroom; they called Kohler and ordered the part on our behalf (Kohler fixtures have a lifetime guarantee) and will return to install when the part comes in. We really appreciated their professionalism and knowledge. No hesitation to recommend this company and would use their service again in a heartbeat.

Not only did they fix the wax ring on the toilet that was broken, but they went above and beyond and check my other toilet and adjusted the chain!     Great experience start to finish! I had gotten a price quote from another local plumbing company to repair a leaking shower that seemed really high so I was calling around for other price estimates. I called Convient Plumbing at 5pm on a Thursday night not expecting to hear from someone till the next day but they called me back that same evening. After having me text them some pictures they gave me a quote over the phone which was a couple hundred cheaper from the least expensive option the first plumber gave me. They came out to do the repairs the next day and charged me exactly what they quoted me over the phone. Great service for a reasonable price.(Edited to fix a typo)

    I called Convenient Plumbing because of a water stain on me ceiling! They were able to squeeze me in that day even tho they were already busy. Ed and his son Jeremy showed up promptly and began checking out the situation thoroughly. They were very knowledgeable and explained the shower cartridge had been leaking behind the wall unnoticed. They quickly changed the cartridge and ussured me the problem was solved. They gave me a very reasonable price and I would recommend convenient Plumbing to anyone I know!
