    Installed a pipe directly connect to the water heater. Tyler charged me $205 an hours, he said it’s a 2 person job, so $410 just for labor. I was shocked because they charged me $150 an hour last year for replaced the faucet outside.

    After a pipe burst during the last cold snap, Durfee responded quickly and had their team to our home within a few hours. The team was professional, courteous and quickly located and fixed the leak. I cannot recommend them enough. They were great to work with from beginning to end.

    I switched to Durfee from another HVAC company a few years ago and have always been pleased. Theyve responded quickly when my furnace went out in two different occasions. They always take time to explain and show me things and have a great attitude. They seem willing to do a little bit extra to make sure that everything works right. Overall, they are an outstanding team and I highly recommend them.

    Absolutely fantastic response and service! On a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, Durfee replied in less than 15 minutes to a web request for help. Our on-demand water heater of only a few years was leaking due to corrosion of the temperature gauge. By close of business they had reached the manufacturer, determined it was under warranty, and had a replacement ordered. Huge worry off my mind and wallet. They installed the replacement the next business day and checked in to follow up. Can’t recommend more highly, you will be so happy you called them!

    We have been working with Durfee Plumbing and Heating for several years now. They are very responsive to our needs. They close down and open up our home each year and have done many other jobs for us over the years including an emergency call on the weekend. We trust them completely and have been very satisfied with their work.

    I must have called 20 plumbers and the guys that ended up working on two of our bathrooms were fantastic. Both the bath and shower were clogged in the worst way ... these guys just rolled up their sleeves and got to work, did an awesome job, very nice and friendly with my kids and I, didn’t leave mess. Best part was the totally reasonable rate.I am so happy.

    Chad and his co-worker came when expected with the correct repair part. Fifteen minutes later all was well and they were on there way. As always, Durfee has friendly, reliable and knowledgeable people. Weve been with them for ten years or so and always have had excellent work whether they are installing equipment or handling problems.

    I called this morning to have a hot water heater put in and they came One hour later. They worked with very little since my condo space is limited. They had to remove my dryer and a few other things to get it into a small space of mineI was very impressed how skilled they were especially at problem solving in working in a tight space. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and They never stopped working until the heater was installed. They worked with limited working space and did an awesome job. I will definately call them back in future with other plumbing related jobs..

    Phil explained in detail the types of air conditioning and heating systems were available and each units efficiency. The units he helped me choose allowed us to be very comfortable during the summer months. The thermostat was easy to use, the house cooled quickly and our first season with this AC unit our electric bill was significantly lower than the same period last year.Phil and his team were prompt during the installation of the units. The quote was exactly as he had stated. They were very organized and neat.Definitely would recommend them for all plumbing needs.John Eagan

    Phil, the owner was very responsive to my hot water heater issue. He was willing to work with my home warranty company so I would be reimbursed for the repair. I have in the past called and no companys on the Cape would do that for me.Miguel & George Installed my new HWH. They were courteous and left everything clean.     Both McGerigle and George were very kind and quick and professional as they cleaned out and refurbished my ancient gas heater that we rely on. They were fast and courteous and we’re kind of the dogs, and everything was cleaned up and working very well once they were done.

    My initial communication with Durfees involved filling out a website form, phone messages and emails. There was no receptionist answering the phone and the estimate was given based on photos I took of my old gas water heater and emailed. The added back-n-forth is balanced by the reduced price Durfees can charge due to the reduced overhead operation. A 2-man crew came to my house within a few days and installed the new gas hot water heater. They were friendly and professional. When I called Durfees a few hours after the install because of a leaky vacuum valve, the guys came back within minutes and quickly replaced it. I would definitely use Durfees again for any plumbing need.

    Our furnace failed in the middle of the night on one of the coldest nights this winter. Although I had never employed Durfee Plumbing prior to this emergency he came highly recommended by a friend. I reached out to Phillip via email explaining the situation (Friday night). Not only did Phillip get back to me within an hour with an email response; he came to the house the next day (Saturday). He worked very hard diagnosing the problem on an extremely old furnace. The cost of his visit was extremely reasonable. Great, personable guy with the cutest dog, Scout!Kudos to Durfee Plumbing!
