    Michael Soby and his team have been the best electricians that I have worked with. They have helped me with the whole house service line upgrade, installation of a new 200 amps panel, wiring of our hot tub, erecting and wiring new granite post light, adding/replacing outdoor GFIs. They were diligent and they were thoughtful in the way that they designed their work. They were detailed oriented. Their work results were impressive! Michael is also responsive to answering questions. I can sleep sound at night knowing our house’s electric work was done in a high quality fashion.

    Have had the pleasure of working with Mike and his team on 3 different occasions over the past year. Had an emergency repair at our business on a Saturday during the summer that Mike handled personally (he even left his sons soccer game to get us up and working). Have also had several of his guys perform a variety of installations at our home (upgrade closet lighting from fluorescent to LED, install lighting in an outdoor shower, & install a variety of new outlets and fixtures). All three of our experiences were handled with total professionalism. Mike and his electricians are super competent and painstaking. They all truly understand customer service - a great company to work with.

    Mike and the whole team at Soby were so incredibly helpful. We had a power outage due to a faulty breaker and had been without power for about 12 hours. We called dozens of services, and nobody could help us. When we got in touch with Soby, Mike and his team had the problem resolved within 2 hours. Without them, we likely would have continued to be out of power for days. They were very thorough and took the time to explain everything to us. They were very upfront and honest about the charges and costs. We would definitely recommend them and do business with them again.

    Sobey One upgraded the electrical service and distribution panel at our home in Brewster, Ma. They were punctual and professional in assessing the job, providing a detailed quote and performing the work. They explained what they would do and completed the work exactly as they described. We will not hesitate to contact them for their help with any future electrical service needs. We highly recommend them.

    My husband found Michael’s company by googling for someone to mount a tv above the fireplace in our new condo at the cape. We chose him because of the great reviews. We didn’t have anything else to go on. Turns out he is as good as the reviews said. Michael was super prompt in responding to our request. We ended up doing a major Reno to the condo and Michael has done many other jobs for us besides the tv mount. He is extremely kind and concerned about his clients. We had a mix up with the mini splits that he put in and he made sure everything turned out right and looked out for our well being the whole time. This is really helpful since we were not local and doing Reno from afar is hard. He also got us in contact with a really good contractor , Dana Greene of Rustic Elegance. Together they have made this process go smoothly.

    Great company to work with - from their office staff to Michael! Called eight local electricians due to an electrical issue in half of my house - not one returned my phone call except for Soby One. Michael came to the house within hours and fixed the issue. Very professional. Would highly recommend. This company is also highly recommended on Next Door for those looking for a local recommendation, which is where I originally found them.

    I’ve known Mike for over 12 years and I am completely satisfied I have never been disappointed. He never forgets his old customers like a lot of contractors do once they become big. If you have an emergency with everybody’s crazy schedule and Mike knows this could be something that is severe to your home he will make the time to get there and prevent things from happening rather than just being a time slot on the schedule. Mike his employees and people he works with are extremely pleasant professional and with Covid very sensitive to the situation. I feel unlike other contractors that you have come in to do one particular thing Mike may be there for one but if you see something that could be a potential problem he informs you and it’s up to you to do something about it he tried to prevent things before they happen. The security of your home is his priority to get things done do it right and prevent things from causing a fire.

    Mike installed a whole house Kohler gas generator along with internal wiring upgrades. All employees were professional and polite, hard working and left our home neat and clean when done. There were numerous roadblocks to handle in the process and they were all surmounted efficiently , effectively and completely. We strongly recommend Soby One Home Services for all electrical work both inside and outside.

    Michael and his team consistently provide us with top-quality, professional work at fair prices, whether it’s for a major renovation or a smaller project. They are creative and great at thinking “outside the box” to meet their customers’ needs. They are always responsive and stand behind their work. There’s no reason to use anyone else on the Cape!

    They wired my new hot tub outside my house. They did a great job and were very professional. I was so happy with there work I had them install recess lighting in my house. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great electrician.

    Let me start by saying, out of the many electricians I called, Soby One called me back promptly .Im a master woodworker and member of IATSE Local 52 Film and Stage Mechanics in NYC and P-town bread..... where locally, no one called us back with our emergency of flickering lights.Michael and his team put their money where their mouth was and did an outstanding job removing our old tattered service line and panel with a new line complete with rigid conduit, Azek mounting panel and exquisite Lutron Panel. Their work was detailed and clean . They went above and beyond, (craftmanship all the way)! Additionally, Michael took the time to request a new line drop from Eversource.Because his work was so clean, I now have to remove all the old telephone , cable and tv wires that are cluttering the new sense of order that is no longer making our house look like the Munsters or Adams Family. We no longer live in electrical shame and fright.

    Soby installed some smoke detectors for me a few years ago and one was malfunctioning. Soby came quickly and discovered another unit was not working. Before the end of the day both units, which were under warranty, were replaced and the next day I received a follow up phone call from Michael making sure there were no other problems. The gentlemen who came were friendly and courteous, and Michael’s follow up was much appreciated!
