    Michael and the other gentlemen was amazing! Our a/c unit was having issues and it was hot inside our home. We called Roger’s Heating and Cooling and they called back promptly. Michael was at our house and had the unit running in under a hour. The men are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and great about explaining everything to you. I highly recommend them!!!

    The entire experience with Rogers has been nothing short of amazing. From the initial service visit with Brandon to the install day with Brian and Joey. I felt like I was only offered what I needed to take care of my issues, and never felt any pressure to pick one product/service over another. The installers were great with my two girls who kept harassing them with questions, and constantly peeking on them to see what they were doing. When it was all done everything was explained to me and they made sure to answer any questions that I had. Nobody is ever happy to spend money on large purchases for the home, but I feel confident that I got a quality product, at a fair price, with amazing service all the way around. I would highly recommend the Rogers team for any of your heating and cooling needs.

    I was most impressed with Josh from his first phone call, alerting me of his ETA. Josh arrived, right on time, seemingly proud to be representing Rogers Heating & Cooling.He verified the reason for his visit and kept me apprised to his every move, showing me pictures of what I could not see from inside the house. (I just returned home from a weekly hospital stay.).I was comfortable with him on my property, working on my heating and cooling unit, as well as my dehumidifier which is in my crawlspace.He went over in detail everything recommended based on his solid explanations.At this point, from being greeted on the phone months ago by Hannah, to Joshs service and professionalism yesterday, I could not rate either Hannah or Josh high enough.

    I must say it was wonderful to work with this company on our removal and replacement of two heat/ac high vac equipment. Mandy set up my appt with Gerrante our salesman, who was very professional, pleasant and easy to talk to, no pressure, which was nice. Explained everything and gave us 3 options. He even called us back a few hours after he left to see if we had any other questions, that sold the deal for me. Told him he had the job ( they were also competitive with the two other quotes, but came in a but lower.) Today was the big day. Brain contacted me by text that he was on the way. We had Joey, Morgan and Jordan helping with the install. They were also very professional, polite, answered all my husbands questions during the install, and left our home very clean. I would highly recommend Rogers heating and air. They also do electric and plumbing. 100% satisfied.

    Rogers installation and service staff are always prompt, personable, and professional. Dean and Tyler installed my attic fan and it was a smooth experience, despite the technical obstacles they had to overcome. They listened to my preferences and installed the fan exactly as Id hoped.     Very friendly customer service. Scheduled within a few days and when an earlier appointment opened, moved me up. Issue with electric in residential doublewide. Technician Dean came out was very knowledgeable and friendly and had my problem fixed and working within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend them.

    Always happy to share my experience with the technicians from Rogers Heating and Cooling and Joe was no exception. Fantastic job on the installation of a new expansion tank and filter. Left the area cleaner than when he started. Explained everything clearly and also offered advice on descaling our on demand water heaters. Super nice guy !

    Cant say enough about Rogers Heating and Cooling - Brandon and Clay came within 4 hrs of me calling for a diagnostic visit for my heat pump and figured out the issue, made some recommendations and explained the whole process in laymans terms. Well, thankfully for us they decided to expand into the marketplace at just the right time.Brandon Frost was my first contact with the company. He found my social media post asking for suggestions on who to contact about an HVAC replacement. He reached out, and Im glad he did. Brandon is a wonderful young man. His objective, and ours, was finding the best product at the best price. We ended up with a winner.Install was a breeze thanks to Joey Driggs and LJ Barnett. Throughout the time at the house they would always end with, if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.     We recently remodeled an old and complicated house on the lake and we contracted with Rogers to install over half a dozen mini-split heating and cooling units. The project took well over a year because of the delays with other contractors but the Rogers team was always on point. They were patient, courteous, capable and prompt. Our lead technician, Brian, was outstanding. He was professional, efficient and polite and took the time to explain all of the features of the new units. We appreciate that Rogers assigned Brian to this project for the duration, as having someone familiar with the property and the previous work made all of the difference.

    Our AC started to fail on the 4th. We called the next morning and they sent someone before the end of the day. The repairman, Doug came promptly within the time frame that was given me. He texted to let me know that he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem promptly and fixed it for a reasonable price. Doug was personable and polite and helpful. I am very pleased and will be using Rogers again. I would recommend this group.

    I will only share my experience with Joseph Waggoner.Everything that could go wrong did with the exception of Mr. Waggoner. He was very respectful and professional.The service had originally been overpriced. Mr. Waggoner was sent to install the incorrect product than what was paid per the agreement. He contact his company, drove back to South Boston and made the necessary correction. Kudos to Joseph.

    Buying a new AC unit is a big deal. My near 25 year old unit needed a tune up and a new fan motor, but folks, at that age, it isnt worth it. The initial tech, Brandon, was professional, friendly, and honest. As a former worker in the industry ( Roto-Rooter) I have seen it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Being a former salesman myself, I have the advantage of reading another and telling what they are all about. Brandon was very forthcoming in explaining the pros and cons of the dreaded repair or replace dilemma, all without being pushy or pitchy, and I was left to make the decision to replace myself. And now even in hindsight, it was a no brainer. Jordan and Jeffrey ( the installers) won me over even further. You really do get what you pay for. The more I watched them work and got to know both them as people, and what truly goes into a top/shelf installation, the more any remaining shreds of the understandable buyers remorse disappeared. They knew what they were doing, and they did it right, and had me up and running in less than a day. Like Brandon, they looked sharp, were down to earth, and were wizards of their craft. A good premier company will show it in their work, communication, and honesty, and professionalism. Rogers exceeded in all of the above. Another note: Their trucks appearance both outside and in, were IMMACULATE. So was their personal appearance. (Pro tip to look out for, if your workers cant be clean and organized, they arent gonna care about you either) They earned my loyalty as a customer.And no, this isnt a paid review, more like the opposite lol but I know where the $$ went, and it was worth it and Rogers proved it. Hopefully this review holds a bit of extra weight, as a former salesman, I know what too look for. Rogers, thank you! Edit: for those like me replacing an ancient unit, early fall is a good time. They are a bit less busy, and the new units are WAY more energy efficient, and superior in every aspect. If you add the fact that they use much less energy, plus the fact you barely run the AC in winter, the unit literally pays for itself in the semi medium term. My older unit dimmed my lights every time because the initial compressor start up. Not the case anymore with this new beauty😎 Thats money saved folks!

    Rogers Heating & Cooling services were outstanding! I had an emergency (no heat/furnace stop working) on one of the coldest days of this winter. Once I called Roger’s they put me on their urgent list and came out and fixed everything right away. During the repair there was a part needed that they did not have in stock, but was available in Danville Va. Rogers sent one of their staff members to retrieve and deliver the part the same day.     The electrical system in my house was broken. Lights were burning out, the power would go completely out if I used the microwave, other lights were cutting out and flickering among other things. Dean came out and located the issue as the house ground wire was badly corroded. He itemized a quote to completely fix the issue and bring the house up to current electrical code for Virginia. I felt the price was very reasonable, considering the scope of this work. Dean and Tyler came out on the very cold day we had recently and immediately got started. They were very pleasant guys and answered questions that I had regarding the job. I watched them work for a little while and then felt 100% sure it would be done correctly. Both were professional, completely knowledgeable and friendly. When the job was completed, everything worked great again. They stayed out in the freezing cold and wind all day and I never heard either complain once. Previously, Rogers had replaced a very old gas furnace for me and once again were pleasant and professional.     I finally decided after 8 years to get the HVAC system repaired. Gerrante did the estimate and explaind it needed to be replaced instead. He answer all my questions and was very helpful with the financing process. He even was available by text to answer more questions. Amber at the office was very helpful to set up the day for installation.Now the ATeam, Jordan and LJ, were great. They explained everything and answer all my questions too. In about 6 hours, the units were up and running with explanation of thermostat.     I guess Tyler did what he could do. I did not watch him to the work but he seems like a trust worthy young man. He said he replaced the battery, checked out the operation of the generator but could not replace the spark plug or air filter because the do not stock them on the truck for the generator size I have......so a second trip will be needed. He did not give a date when that is to be done. Not a reflection on him but how many canceled or incomplete service calls does it take. In general has Rogers Hgt & Cooling, Generators started to go down hill? I almost felt like asking to wait and pay the invoice until the work is done.

    After my retirement from the United States Marine Corps, my wife and I bought my childhood home from my parents. It has has been a labor of love upgrading and renovating our home. When our HVAC unit needed to be replaced, we chose to go with Rogers due to it having such a high rating, and we found out why ourselves. Their customer service, technicians, and overall professionalism is beyond what I expect from your typical local HVAC company. They send you alerts with pictures of the technician that is coming to your house, and give you a phone number that you can click to call in a text message. Recently we had Bruce come out to our house, and he explained in great detail our issue that our system was having. He took before and after pictures to show us the work he did, and gave us pointers as to how to prevent such problems from occurring in the future. We decided to go with a whole new system install, and the rate we received was well worth the investment. We have a 10 year parts and labor warranty, meaning any issues, we call and they fix it for us. We also got a lifetime warranty on our compressor. If anything happens to our outdoor unit, they will replace the whole unit at no cost to us. Ive had Bruce come to our home twice now, and everytime the level of personal professionalism exceeds my expectations. Rogers is a newer company, but is taking all of the steps in the right direction. Theyve earned my business, as well as my recommendation to all my friends, family, and associates. If you havent looked them up for your HVAC needs, give them a call. Youre sure to hear, even at 730am, a cheery receptionist asking how Rogers can make you smile today.

    This was my first experience with Rogers Heating & Cooling. I called first thing on a Saturday morning and by 1:30 PM, they had repairmen here. I was very impressed with their service, particularly with their responsiveness. Jacob Davis with Rogers Heating & Cooling was extremely professional and able to explain our heating system issues in familiar terms. I was happy to learn of their membership that includes two scheduled maintenance services annually. After joining, the service call fee for this visit was waived. I highly recommend Rogers Heating & Cooling.

    Chris was the best HVAC tech I have been around and this is our 14th house in 44 years of marriage. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable, and didnt mind me asking him many questions so I understood what and why he was doing. The only thing I would have liked about the quotesI got were broke down into labor and materials costs separated. Chris said that was company policy, a polite answer but disappointing to me.

    Very responsive and nice. Sean came out for an estimate for electrical work and was very professional, nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I received a written estimate the next day. Great company! Same with Justin with an HVAC estimate. The install went perfect with Sean, Lee, and team. It was great working with these guys and I highly recommend them.

    Rogers got a service tech out to us very fast and got our heat pump back on line. Dale the service tech was prompt and courteous. He solved the problem in no time. Rogers and their team is #1 for hvac services in Halifax county!Edit: 8/19/2023 our capacitor failed and Rogers was out the next day to repair and replace. Jamie was our service tech and super friendly, personable, and professional. I appreciate Roger’s and the team helping us get our heat pump working at a critical time in our infant sons life getting him crib trained. it is nice when people matter to a company. A rare treat in this day and age.Edit: 3/11/2024. Comfort club was a well worth while endeavor. Rogers came out to examine current heating and cooling. Service tech Jamey offered information about the halo air purification system. It is one of those things I’ve wanted and considered but also one of those things I never think about till someone brings it up. Rogers offered literature and information on the halo air purifier. They were responsive and considerate of my feelings, found the right component for me and were very prompt on service. I already notice a massive quality change in my air inside! Smells like fresh rain! You just can’t beat the timeliness, courtesy, communication and professionalism of Roger’s. Good group I know I can count on. Kudos to all involved in the Roger’s team to make this happen. Very satisfied.

    My very first experience with Rogers was a year ago when my Trane unit stopped working. The technician did an awesome job troubleshooting, finding the issue that was a bad part, and replacing it. I was so happy and beyond thankful as I had a newborn baby at the time and it was a very hot day. Wonderful Experience!Jan. 2024, my upstairs heating and cooling unit completely stopped working. Before it stopped working it was blowing heat and cool air perfectly. The Gibson unit I had was at least 17 years old so I knew sooner or later it needed replaced. The technician, Michael, looked at both units, air handlers, and duct work to evaluate what needed replaced. I was told that my units were pretty old and the duct work looked good. I was given the option to replace just the one bad unit or to replace both units and given a detailed quote. I opted in to replacing both units that carried a 10 year warranty. Less than a week later, Jordan and his A team spent the whole day replacing both units and air handlers. The heat worked wonderfully in all rooms. Wonderful Experience!March of 2024 after I had a new workshop built, I remembered that Rogers also offered electrical and plumbing work. I thought, thats a no brainer to go with them to do all my electrical work in the new workshop. Rogers quoted me the price and they worked with me to come up with something more budget friendly. Less than a week later Dean came out with his team to start running electric. It took a couple days due to weather but they got it done and I couldnt be more satisfied with their work. Wonderful Experience!Mid April of 2024. It was a hot day with temps in the upper 80s. I was working and heard my newborn son crying on my Nanit baby monitor and saw that the temperature was 84 degrees with humidity at around 78% in his room! Automatically I thought I forgot to turn the thermostat to cool and set to 72 degrees. After looking, it was set to cool at 72 degrees. Thats when I called Rogers to send a technician out to look at it to fix the issue. The technician, Jamey, came out to take a look and charged the lines fully. That did not fix the issue, and he had to call another tech, Doug, to put a second set of eyes on it and fix the issue. Brandon came out to see what he could do to fix my issue. He made the determination that my upstairs unit needed replaced with a bigger one, duct work needed completely replaced, and the return to be increased in size. Brian and his team came out and replaced everything. Everything work perfectly and I couldnt be more pleased. Although I ran into this issue, Rogers made it right.Thank you Rogers for making our family happy customers! I would recommend Rogers for your Heating, Cooling, Electrical and Plumbing needs any day of the week!
