What a pleasure dealing with Brandon Taylor and his helper today! This walk-in jetted tub was something I thought I would ever want or use, but now that it is needed, and it heats properly, it will be a joy to have and far safer than getting up and down from a regular tub. I highly recommend Brandon and your company, and look forward to having technicians back Fri to install a tankless hot water heater and run a line through my attic to give me hot water in a half bath lavatory.Once again, Brandon discovered the problem with my not getting hot enough water and had a solution! What he could not complete yesterday afternoon , will be done today. I am so happy to have technicians like him doing work for me! Your company is fortunate to have him!

Ezekiel was my plumber. He was on time, friendly and informative. He crawled under the house to inspect the pipes after the freeze. He inspected all the potential trouble areas inside the house. He was thorough but the best part was his willingness to share info w me. That’s a critical element for me as I’m a very invested owner of my house and I ask questions. Ezekiel was great. Also, working w admin at Doug the Plumber was very easy, timely and productive. An overall great team.

Tyler was courteous, professional and worked hard to find my problem. And then the manager showed up and the two of the dug up the pipe in question. Repaired it as best as it could be repaired. This gives me some time before I have to replace my ancient septic system. I appreciate their work and I trust their advice.PS they worked late and in the rain without complaint. They did not leave until I had a working plumbing system.

Timothy Whetstone came to look at my old water heater because 7-8 minute showers were turning cold. He determined that one element was bad and that it’s so old (26 years) that he wouldn’t recommend trying to repair it. He worked up several estimates for a replacement based on different criteria. That was helpful to compare prices and options. Besides that he explained, in lay terms, how new water heaters are installed, what needs to be installed within and why. He made it easy to understand.He also checked one of the bathtub faucets that had been leaking into the tub after a shower only to discover that it wasn’t a plumbing problem, but an old faucet that just needed a good cleaning and a very inexpensive part replaced. He could have tried to sell me a new expensive fixture, but was honest with me about what was needed.I’m totally impressed with his knowledge, his ability to explain things in ways I could understand, and his honesty.

Tim did all of the work, so that a General whole house generator could be installed. When the inspector said I had to either upgrade or redo our gas line problems, Tim was very informative and gave me a really good bid for both, (either fixing the oil stuff or doing everything new again). I chose to have the new done. Everything was done excellently, and explained so well. I felt like I had doctors in the house because of how careful they were with explaining and being careful with my house and my needs. They cleaned up everything before they left so my house was not left a mess like it sometimes is when a plumber leaves. I am going to give Doug’s Plumbing an excellent review. I’ve never had plumbers so kind, professional and helpful to me like this and do such a great job. I’ve already told quite a few people in my area about my great experience with Doug’s Plumbing. I told my electrician when he came to finish up the whole house generator about Doug’s Plumbing and he said that he has people ask him all the time about plumbers so he would suggest them in the future

We had a serious leak issue with our main water supply line, and based on a previous positive experience with Doug The Plumber (now Blue Ribbon) we called them again. Brandon came out and diagnosed the issue, spent a good bit of time communicating with the office, and then offered several possible solutions at different price points. We chose one, and the work was promptly scheduled.Barrett and Matt showed up right on time, and confirmed the work with me, and discussed their work plan. This was a big job involving trenching and replacing a lot of pipeline and adding new shut-offs and a pressure reduction valve. They did a great job, kept me posted on the progress, and worked around my unavailability for part of the day. Clean up was great, and they even took care of repairing some rooting damage in the yard from wild hogs while they were cleaning up. :-)Once again, Im totally satisfied with Doug the Plumber (Blue Ribbon) and their field guys. Plumbing repair isnt always cheap, but I felt that my money was well spent, and these guys definitely had my interests and satisfaction a top priority.Highly recommended.

My husband had seen Dougs Plumbing trucks in the neighborhood so decided to give them a call. They got us in the following morning. Advised when tech was headed our way. Tim and Brandon came out this morning to fix a newly installed water heater. Tim gave me all my options. They were able to install the new water heater and rework the piping that was in my mobile home to make it work better. Not to mention up front with everything that was happening and going to happen. They made a few suggestions along the way to ease pain in repairs later on down the road. Some of the pipe broke when they tried to remove an old plumbing fixture and they replaced it with better than new at no cost to us! Will definitely use Doug The Plumber again! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I own a property management company for short term rentals and was having an issue with a hot water heater. I could not find any plumbers on the same day but Doug’s came to the rescue. From the initial phone call to the entire process, I could not believe how professional and easy the process was. I am so thankful for them because we had a guest checking in that same day at 4 PM! They were able to come out within hours and fix the entire issue. Customer service is fabulous. I realized that a pipe had burst under my small house so I called Dougs Plumbing. I had never called before. Marty answered the phone and said he could send someone out the same night. Jayson came out and told me what it would cost and started working on the problem. He replaced the damaged PVC and told me that he wasnt going to charge me as much as he said he was because it was easier than he thought it would be. I was amazed with his honesty. I have used Dougs Plumbing twice now. The first time was to install a utilitub and the second was to replace a hot water heater. Both times they were professional, prompt and reasonably priced. They are an honest company and try to help you any way they can. For example, today Tim and Frank replaced my hot water heater and tested my water pressure to make sure it wouldnt be too high for the new water heater. Safe water pressure is 80 psi and mine read 92 psi. They offered to install a water pressure regulator and I agreed. When they got over to the meter, they discovered that one was already installed on the county water side. Not only did they inform me of this, they called the water company for me to put in a work order so they could make sure the regulator was working properly and to set it to the appropriate psi. This saved me a few hundred bucks and the experience was above and beyond my expectations.Thanks Dougs Plumbing and more specifically, Tim and Frank.

I was panicked because I couldnt turn the water off at the main line and there was no cut off at the broken line. I called Dougs Plumbing because I have a few friends who have used his services. Joanna was very nice and told me that it might be a few hours before they could get someone out to take a look but she would try to get someone out to at least turn off the main water line. Oscar and Beto arrived a little after five. They assessed the situation, turned off the water and went out to buy the necessary parts. With all that, they had the pipe repaired and water back on in about forty minutes. I was fully prepared for an extra charge for an after hours call but, nope, they only charged me for the work done.I was so pleased that I called Joanna and set up an appointment for someone to come take a look at a problem in my laundry room. Brendan and Beto came out (wearing masks Im pleased to say) assessed the situation and made their recommendations. The cost of the house call was minimal and about half what I expected. The fact is that they could have taken advantage of me because the problem was not in the plumbing as I had thought but they didnt. I am so pleased with Doug, his staff and crew. I highly recommend them.

My grandmother called Dougs Plumbing, for an outside plumbing issue. They sent Zack and Oscar. They were on time and professional. Zack did an indoor inspection of all the bathrooms and laundry room and sinks, saying it was part of the services they provided free of charge. While he was doing this he was explaining to my grandmother what he was doing and what he was looking at. He even went as far to explain why we should change something in the future, but that it wasnt needed at this time as everything checked out alright.I was greatly appreciative of this level of professionalism. We had two pipes burst due to this horrible cold. I had my wife call Dougs while I climbed under the house to cut the pipes and put in some temporary shutoff valves because I was anticipating a long wait for their services. To my surprise, Dougs called me just as I was finishing up to say they had a crew on the way. 20 minutes later they were here. Zack Strickland showed up, took a look, answered our questions, gave us a quote, answered more questions, put in pex to replace the two broken pipes, insulated it all, answered even more questions, and left us with working water and smiles on our faces. I first called Dougs out last winter during a freeze that broke an outside line. They came right away and done an excellent job and the bill was reasonable. When I needed my new water meter hooked to my home, I called and they gave me an estimate and they were able to get me hooked up the second day after the meter was set. They were fast. very profession and did an excellent job. Im a senior citizen and they did things to make it easier for me, like putting the shutoff valve near the house instead of at the meter and the outside faucet up on the edge of my mobile home instead of on the ground. I had removed the skirting before they came so the pipes were visible, and when they left, they even replaced the skirting so I didnt have to get out in hot sun. That was above and beyond their job. They stuck with their estimate except for an unforeseen pressure valve which was unexpected. They told me the problem and discussed the price before putting it in. I could not ask for better service, and if I need plumbing in the future I will definitely call Dougs.

I started calling surrounding area plumbers from Pflugerville to Austin and no one could get out here until next week to give us an estimate and many of them will not serve the Elgin area. He was very honest and upfront about the cost, installation, and time frame. The technicians arrived today around 12:30 pm and were done by 3 pm. I must say that Damon was quite experienced and knowledgeable. Everything looked clean and new by the time Damon and Beto left. My husband checked their work and said that it was very professional.
