    Blake came and did the estimate and was so helpful, giving excellent advice. Then Blake came back with another electrician to put in the outlet, Ethernet cable and test an Ethernet port for me. They were professional and tidy. They vacuumed after they finished. So using them again.

    Superb customer service, by Blake and the crew. This was a not a small nor easy job. They wired in a disconnect, for the main, as well as ground rods and rewired to sub panels. Price was less than half of what another company quoted and the quality of work they provided was above and beyond. In addition they gave our generator a oil change and checked electrical.They will be our first call for any future electrical repairs.

    I called Mr. Electric for a second opinion. Another company recommended my outside mast to be replaced and no problems were found inside. Mr. Electric was honest and said my mast was in good shape and thoroughly checked everything else in the house. They found a smoke detector not working, a missing GFCI on the washing machine outlet, and a breaker that needed to be replaced. They are honest, professional and quick to respond, with no sales pitch on unwanted items. All electrical repairs cost, but they are fair in price. Safety is important. Highly recommended.

    I had just closed on a remodeled house built in 1905. I called Mr. Electric to figure out why two of my electric outlets didn’t have powers and check the outlets for grounding. Zane came out on the same day I called and did a full inspection of my house. He was kind and professional and offered great advice. The inspection revealed problems that needed to be done to protect the house and myself. I was pleased with his work and Mr. Electric. Plan to use them again!

    We hired Mr. Electric of Kansas City to do multiple different jobs at our house in 2024. They were thorough, explained each task in detail, and did great work. We had them fix old outlets that didnt work, install 3 new outlets outside, and whole home surge protector, upgrade existing outlets/smoke detectors, etc. Additionally they did all the electric hookup for our new pool equipment. Zane and has crew were top notch and answered our many questions. Hire these guys with confidence they do great work.

    Absolutely blown away! I had my entire two story house rewired and they did an amazing job! After they were done there was only 2 holes in all of the walls in the entire house and the largest one was smaller than a foot in length. I was expecting to have to patch a ton of drywall after doing research online and seeing other people’s homes after being rewired, but these guys masterfully avoided all damage at all costs. My electrical was a disaster before, knob and tube held together with electrical and duct tape and they made sure to check every single foot of wire just to make sure it was safe, and now I can feel at ease knowing my home is no longer a fire hazard because these guys were very skilled and extremely professional. They had incredibly reasonable pricing, and very friendly staff! Thank you Mr Electric!

    Over the past two years we’ve had four different electricians “no show” on multiple occasions. My husband saw Mr. Electric in our neighborhood and decided to give them a call. BEST DECISION EVER!!!! Zane and his crew came out to install some new light fixtures and actually showed up when they said they would. We were so impressed that we had them upgrade our line to the house and install a new electrical panel, along with new outlets in the basement and garage. We even had some last minute requests that he did that day. They were extremely easy to work with and we were able to get ahold of them anytime we needed to.     My technician was absolutely great. It started off with me looking at the Neighborhood app and hiring a local repair guy. He came home over to my house and arrived drunk at 8 AM. After screwing up my electric and disconnecting all my connections, I knew I had to hire a professional. Mr. Electric was exactly that. He was very prompt and found the problem. He communicated all the problems through the service call and kept me posted throughout the process.     I just had Ryan and Zane out here to do some work at my home. The whole experience was fantastic!! Ryan came and gave me a 2nd estimate on replacing my Electrical Panel. He was very thorough and he listened to all my information that I gave him even if he probably didnt need it. He took the time to look over all my other issues with things from ceiling fans, ceiling lights, not working outlets and replacing canister lights. He gave me an estimate for doing all the above work and it was more then reasonable in my view and I was much more pleased with his estimate and information he provided then the first company that came out. Ryan and Zane came out and tag teamed the work together and got it done promptly and professionally and never seemed annoyed with any of my questions or adding anything to the above job.     This is a fine place. You need to find an engineer to do a large building? I know they come in and start their day very early.And then after that, they go out and check on work that they have. Or theyre leaving so they can help out another job sight. They even get in there and do some of the work. Theyre always checking on their work according to a lady that answered the phone in there. I dont know if theres still just a small outfit. But theyve got one place here in Smithville. If you ever need electrical work, there are the guys to do it.

    Larry went above and beyond to restore the power to my house after a large portion of my tree ripped it from my house and my neighbors. They got the job done quickly, even though they had to fish electrical line 45 feet through a soffit in my basement, and cleaned up nicely.     Just had new service put in a new outbuilding, they did everything including wiring up building, installing all outlets I needed, lights, switches, heaters, putting in 200 amp service and digging the trench to transformer box, on time, courteous, work looked neat and best of all, passed inspections easily! Price came in at exactly what he said it would be and they handled all paper work ( permit, inspections, contacting kcpl) explained that kcpl may charge for meter and hookup ahead of time so I had no surprises.     I had two electrical issues. One was my my wall outlets had quit working and had to diagnose the problem and was able to resolve quickly. The other was a outside light fixture kept tripping the GFCI’s, they were able to add a box to bring it to code and was able to pull the slack out of the wires and cut it past where there was a slice and fixed the issue I was having with the light.

    We had a tree fall on our powerline completly ripping everything off the house at 1AM. By 8 am they were here in pouring rain seeing what they could do. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars, is because the office had a miscommunication with power company and thought we had power, so it delayed the power another day, which who knows whos fault that was. But they came at 4 pm got half the work done and were back before 8 am next day and had power before noon. They were so nice, wore masks inside and wore booties on boots, they answered all my questions and were great. I would recommend them.
