    My home is over 100 years old and in an historic district. Any new construction needed to maintain the integrity of the original building; so expanding the footprint of the original structure to accommodate a modern kitchen required the right contractor, someone who is current with today’s materials, and techniques, and yet respects the beauty and detail of an older home.In Joe Zieba and Zieba Builders, I found a design-build contractor who was able to blend these two constraints perfectly. He and his team have an exceptional eye for detail and a love of craftsmanship, and are able to execute on both.Zieba and his design team came up with a 160 sq ft addition that seamlessly melds the conveniences of a modern kitchen with my 1912 home. I now have a beautiful kitchen with all the modern touches which feels like it was always part of the house.I cannot say enough good things about Zieba Builders. Everyone on the team was polite, knew their job, and was professional. The bid was detailed, fair, and accurate. There were no surprise charges, and the timing of the billings followed the schedule exactly, which made for easy budgeting.My new kitchen is a showpiece. The quality and craftsmanship of the work is the same as one would find in the finest houses in the country.Zieba Builders have exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I highly recommend Zieba Builders to anyone considering a construction project.

    We have so many good things to say about Joe Zieba and the team at Zieba Builders. Out of several people we had to come out to our home to talk about remodeling, Joe was the only one to talk about solutions to our poorly designed addition and to call back and seek our business. Joe’s designs for our kitchen and bath remodel and added laundry room, new entrance to the primary bedroom, and new deck and railing were efficient and beautiful. Designers Heather and Bill helped us choose shapes and materials that fit our aesthetic and lifestyle.From the beginning of demo to the final inspection, there was someone working on our home almost every day with zero to little down time in between the trades. The Zieba team was able to complete our project within the quoted timeframe and we moved in as planned. Angelika, the front office manager, and Darren, our site manager, were always available to answer questions and coordinate the various points of construction.We love our newly remodeled home and we highly recommend Zieba Builders.

    We are thoroughly pleased with Joe and his team. They were able to convince the Cultural Heritage Commission that our remodel would be in the best interest of Bluff Park. The work was completed on time and on budget and is everything we had hoped. Zieba is the only company we would consider in the future.

    We did a lot of research before choosing Zieba Builders for our kitchen remodel. This was no simple gut and switch. We took out supporting walls, moved doors, and flipped the kitchen from one side of the house to the other. Throughout the process, we could not have been more happy with Zieba Builders.This is why.*They worked with our vision to design our dream kitchen, not their dream kitchen.*They made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, including helping us set up a temporary kitchen in the garage including making sure the garage sink was clear before we started using it.*They started and finished the project on time :)Amazing considering Covid hit right in the middle of the job.*Every crew, both Zeiba’s own workers or subcontractors were completely professional-Arrived and left on time-Cleaned the worksite at the end of each day.-Took the time to explain what they were working on daily.-Took our suggestions and minor changes in stride with a smile.-Identified minor errors in the work and corrected them even before wehad a chance to bring them up.-Respectful of our space, never entering our half of the house withoutpermission.*Price was competitive-They weren’t the cheapest, but were competitive with similar quality construction, and as far as I am concerned worth every penny*Since construction ended, we have had a few very minor things come up and Joe and his crew have been super responsive in resolving those issues promptly.We would use them again in a heartbeat!

    My husband and I just completed a fantastic kitchen/family room and living room remodel with Zieba Builders. The Zieba team was hands down the best- extremely professional and capable- from the design portion and selection of fixtures and materials with Kelly Arballo to the construction expertise of Joe Zieba to the craftsmanship and helpfulness of Antonio and all of the subs. The team always kept us informed and we almost never had a down day. Problems were always addressed and solved within a day. I cannot speak highly enough about Joe Zieba. My husband and I put our trust in him and he never let us down. Thanks for a wonderful project experience. We highly recommend!
