Very grateful that they were so thorough, and did excellent work. They thought of all options, and did a minimal amount of excavation for what was a complicated project. Great people to work with! I had a 75 year old galvanized pipe system replaced in a home on a slab. 10 years ago they did a very large repipe for me, setting up a separate water meter for the landscape water, that also was excellent. Thankfully they remembered all the important junction points on my lot, which saved me this year, because I forgot where they were!

Ahmad and his team were fantastic to work with, very professional. They replaced my old galvanized steal system under the house which was falling apart and backing up into my sink. They also looked through other issues as well that would have prevented more damage to my home, based on possible wood rot under the shower, which was leaking into the garage that I assume was coming from a pipe.

Best service! My tortoise broke the main water line I called red hat plumbing, they arrived very quickly and took care of the problem. Another time I used them to fix the kitchen sink drain that tend to clog every winter; I used to hire a handyman to fix it but the problem was coming back every winter, since red hat plumbing fixed it I never had te same issue again. I recommend this amazing company to anyone

Red Hat has come to my rescue more than once! The first time the plumber missed his own daughters soccer game to make sure my family was not left without a working kitchen drain overnight. The second time, the plumber fixed not only the leak we were aware of, but found two more and fixed those, too. Both plumbers came out same day I called.

Others either did not show up as promised or the estimate seemed extremely high. Took a chance on Red Hat based on reviews. Prompt, professional, good communication and the charge was about half a previous estimate.I was happy and asked for an estimate for a new main water line. They wanted $350 to have someone map the pipe run for this commercial property and I approved. After the inspection I kept following up for the estimate. Many calls, texts, email and conversations and no response. Several weeks later I received a call explaining the estimate fell through the cracks while waiting for a sub-contractor bid on repaving the excavation. He said they should have sent is without the bid. Also, apologized for the lack of communication. He was quite sincere and I believe him. I received a quote for some additional work that was again quite fair and I will use them again.

We had a major septic problem at our house and received outrages estimates from a couple of other companies. Ahmad from Red Hat Septic was recommended to us by the septic pumping company we used. It was the best recommendation ever. Ahmad came out, accessed the situation and gave us the best solution - at a much lower price. Everything that Ahmad said would be done was; and, most importantly at a very professional level, he kept to his word, and he is kind and understanding. His crew was very professional and made sure to clean the work area every day before leaving for the day. The septic system is now working properly. We cant say enough about Ahmad, Jose and the crew! They performed major septic repair service for our office building in Woodland Hills, including the installation of the Pirana system. Truly shocked at what a GREAT experience I had! The only reason I say that is because of the reputation many plumbing companies have. This is definitely NOT the case here. Red Hat was awesome and their price was better than any of the other companies I called and I called several. Everybody I dealt with was professional and nice. And in a very classy move the owner himself came out to double check the work and made sure I was happy. I’ve never heard of a plumbing company doing that. The owner even informed me about a rebate with SoCal water/gas I had no idea about! 100 percent recommend!!! You will thank me!P.S. The work I had done: I had them install a new tankless water heater, connect pipes from a downstairs bathroom to the room above to turn into a powder room. They knocked it out in 2 days.

I awoke to a water leak on a Saturday morning. I made many calls to plumbers looking for a same-day service; many were listed all over the internet but none wanted to come for such a minor service, they all wanted to sell me a whole bunch of other services. Finally I got in touch with Red Hat (a real person answered, didnt have to leave a message like most of the others), it was 10:45 am, the gentleman told me someone would be here between 11 am and 1 pm. I didnt believe that at the time.Im in Ventura, and darn if a fine young man named Carlos showed up before noon, nice clean clothes, well-groomed young man, polite, well-spoken, asked good questions about the extent of the service I wanted for the day. He got to work, I had other things to do in the house, by the time he was done (found my leak, re-soldered the pipes and left them in a better configuration than what he found), an hour had passed. Holy smokes, it was the most beautiful solder work on copper pipes I had ever seen. He knew what I wanted, what would work the best for me, better than I did. I was SOOOOOOO impressed with the gentleman Jose I spoke with in dispatch, and with Carlos work. So much so I introduced Carlos to a neighbor who came to visit, make sure the neighbor knew to call Red Hat when he needed service. Carlos and Red Hat took me from an extremely frustrating situation in the morning, to solving all my problems by early afternoon. Extremely professional folks, top to bottom. I was and remain very grateful for the quality and responsiveness of service.

Ahmad ,from the new management team called regarding my unfavorable review ,and was sincerely concerned about my plight and convinced me that Red Hat warrants another shot . Red hat quickly replied to my request and the technician was good ,and did the repair. However he didnt have the piece needed to fix the problem and had to go and get the part ,and I was charged for the time while he was away and never saw a printed bill for his service. Several calls to Red Hat and talking to either the owner or foreman never the problem solved. I had a $400.00+ bill and have no idea what was done and had no breakdown on the services preformed. If you have nothing to hide you show a fully itemized bill.

This was a complete home repipe, tankless water heater install, shower valve replacements and toilet install. The Red Hat team was onsite for several days and cleaned up at the conclusion of each day’s work. They scheduled and performed work in a manner that ensured we had water service nearly the entire time. Throughout the process Ahmad would follow up with a daily call or text to ensure work was proceeding as planned. He checked in two more times after work was completed to make sure all plumbing repairs were functioning satisfactorily. Third, received immediate text confirmation of my appointment and then text alerts when my technician was due to arrive. Fourth, ED: what a lovely person and excellent technician Ed is. Everything I was told couldnt be done, Ed did, in no time, and with a great attitude. And, at a reasonable price--no nickel and diming--job/parts/labor etc. in one reasonable flat fee. And now, less than an hour later, job complete! I couldnt be happier. So impressed with this company.

Called Red Hat due to concerns about the possibility of high water pressure and a humming noise that was occurring when the water was turned on. They were very polite on the phone and sent one of their guys that was at a nearby job. He arrived quickly and was attentive and polite. He checked the pressure and made necessary changes. Needed to replace some pipes in my garage and into my house.First off, very nice people from my interactions.Secondly, they were priced fairly well to start. Then when I needed to make a small change to what I wanted to do after the initial estimate, they didnt take it as an opportunity to jack up the price. They adjusted it by a fair amount and we moved forward. Very fair from that perspective.Then we had a complication towards the end of the work. They had finished the work and everything was working but they didnt do two things in exactly the way that I wanted it to be done. They responded very well to my questions and feedback and said that they would come back the next day to look into those two items. I still ended up paying them the full amount that day.With others I have been screwed when I have paid a full amount and there was still something that I still needed to get done. I was a little nervous after I had done so in this case but there was no need to fear. They showed up bright and early the next day and resolved those two items right away.So, they were fair, responsible, fast, and great to work with. Great job!

On a Thursday morning, we had an emergency...a water leak under our house slab. Red Hat, unlike other major plumbers in our area, said they would come immediately and they did so. We arranged to have a full house above ground repiping, a major job, rather than simply trying to find and repair a leak under the slab . The pricing was reasonable for the large amount of complex work involved and they started working on the leak immediately. The repiping team arrived the next day and worked very long hours, including a Saturday...they would have worked on Sunday also but they were not able to do so because of prior plans. On the following Monday, they arrived early and worked until 7PM so that we could have hot water in part of the house before they left. On Tues, they finished repiping the entire house. They rarely took breaks, worked constantly, were friendly and informative and did an amazingly complicated job as quickly as they possibly could. They left the job as clean as they could given the amount of drywall dust that was generated. Although there is a considerable amount of drywall repair necessary (this is not included in their work) and we have to put away a lot of personal belongings that had to be moved, I have no hesitation recommending Red Hat for any plumbing job you may have. Many thanks to Red Hat for their professional and caring approach to resolve this emergency as quickly as possible! Super job and Super Team!

My submitted request for an estimate was answered almost immediately and it was a Sunday. Appointment was scheduled for 11 on Monday.Johnny L, the technician was right on time.Johnny looked at all 3 projects I had in mind and worked up an estimate.I asked to replace garbage disposal, replace kitchen faucet and move angle stop behind the new refrigerator so it could move closer to wall. He said if I wanted the work done that day he would run and pick up materials. He did that and was back in a timely manner.The house is an older place and is a vacation home so we are not here full time. The faucet and garbage disposal were older and stubborn due to non use. Several plumbing companies I called brushed me off and had no sense of urgency. But when I called Red Hat, Rosa was able to find me a technician that could come out that day! When technician Ahmad showed up he was very professional. He explained the pros and cons of what could happen and what he might find. So I knew in advance how costs could escalade and I would not be caught off guard. There ended up being minor problems but all and all my kitchen sink clog was cleared fairly quickly with no major issues. And the cost was pretty close to the initial estimate given by Rosa over the phone. I just appreciate a company that will come out as quickly as possible and get the job done without trying to up-sell you on things!

They had to dig out the old pipes, which were clogged with tree roots, and replace them, putting in new drains in the side yard. They had to break into our concrete patio. That took care of the flooding problem. They did a good job and restored our garden area. They did cut off some wires to our irrigation system. But when we pointed that out, they fixed it.
