I had kilowatt electric come out to install a ceiling fan that was about 20 feet in the air. They rented scaffolding and brought three electricians along. The guys were very professional, and easy to get along with. They worked hard, and put in the ceiling fan exactly how we wanted it. It looks great! The only critique I have is that I wish they would have been a little better about cleaning up, and putting things back where they were. Otherwise, fantastic job. I would absolutely have them do more work for me.

Why do i choose Kilowatt. Because they do great work and are as honest as they come. So today i had them out to repair a faulty wall heater. I’m no electrician by any stretch of the imagination. They could have easily charged me over $350 which i authorized prior to the visit. But no the bill was $70. Why, because they found the issue was simply a reset button. So they only charged me the travel fee. I am proud to call Kilowatt my electrical go to. And you should too.

I was grateful to the men who came into my home to replace 5 outlets. One of them was the owner of Kilowatt Electric, LLC. They completed the tasks and then asked if I needed anything further since that had some time left, so I told them I needed to put a balast into the main closet, which they did at no extra charge. It only took them a few minutes but I had been waiting to do that for almost a year and they got it done for me. Thank you to Kilowatt Electric, LLC.

This company was patient waiting for the construction companys delays then coming in and completing their work in two days. They did a flawless job connecting my garage to my home power system. They also upgraded my current system in my home installing 5 new outlets in my home. All this for a more reasonable price then several of their competitors. I highly recommend this company!

An electric tankless water heater tripped some breakers, and I called Kilowatt to troubleshoot. After creatively dealing with an access problem left by the construction contractor, John and staff did a thorough and professional diagnostic to ensure that all circuit breakers and supply lines to the unit were intact. Peace of mind that a 120-amp appliance was going to be safe to turn back on was priceless. They also installed a replacement GFI outlet in another location, in just a few minutes. Its good to combine jobs in one visit, when you can.Professional, friendly, and local, this is an electrical business I was pleased to find.

Trevor & Chris came out to diagnose my kitchen sockets. Turns out home needs surge protection since Im in an area with many outages. Sadly, I didnt know about this sooner, fridge and dishwasher were fried during last outage. Kilowatt team is very knowledgeable, on time, and respectful. Theyll be back to setup my panel surge protector.

Excellent installation. I hired Kilowatt about 2 years ago to install a standby generator. I already had the generator I wanted and they knew all the other parts I would need and they got those. The installed an automatic switch to transfer power and they had to move the meter. The only issue was with the city and they told us that they had shut off the power and they had not. Fortunately they were cautious and checked before continuing work. Because of this and a couple of other issues they had to come back a couple of times to finish the job. They did not charge me any extra for the problems.In the picture the generator is the tan box under the window the switch is the grey box next to the meter. The heat pump was already there.Anytime I know someone that needs electrical work I recommend Kilowatt.

I highly recommend using Kilowatt Electric for your electric needs! I recently had work done at my cabin. It was a mix of mysterious troubleshooting, new fixture installation, design planning - John was able to handle it all! The office did an excellent job advising me of schedule, keeping me informed and answering questions. Kilowatt always showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was done. They were efficient and respectful of my space, and helped translate information from the state and county. Most impressive was that John advised removing a panel that had a history of causing fires, and then found that the problem that caused our electric problem was in fact a result of that bad panel. Good job Kilowatt!

My experience with these folks was nothing but positive. John is who he says he is and their quality work was done on time and on budget. We had Kilowatt totally rewire and re-power our entire well\water system. This required them to work on schedule with a Drilling company and the PUD to make sure water was restored by then end of the day. I relied on Kilowatt to make sure the power came back on when it was supposed to. They came through and the project was completed successfully.

Kilowatt was a life-saver when we moved into the foreclosed house Id purchased in an online auction. Paperwork for the house had taken so long we had literally 4 days to be out of our house wed sold and into the new one. It had been vacant quite awhile, vandalized and the existing electrical panel had been shortened, with a hacksaw. I hired Kilowatt Electric to completely rewire my two story building in Shelton. Which included replacing all old knob and tube wiring. Updating to LED lighting throughout the building. Removing dropped ceilings. Upgrading to commercial wiring and wired in smoke detectors, adding lighting, cadet heaters and extra outlets and more. John and his staff from Kilowatt Electric were outstanding!!! From my very first phone call to Rose in the office, to each and every employee the pride, integrity, and honesty showed was amazing. I was very hesitant about hiring any electrician, but when I spoke to Rose and then John my worries were gone.I had at least in my mind what I thought would be a huge undertaking of projects consisting of two separate sheds being wired for power, hot tub wiring, flood light installation, RV electrical panel installation, and even a generator hook up to be hard wired to my house fuse panel. John did an amazing job taking the time to explain the bid, providing really good recommendations and answering every question (I had a lot of them). The panel in our house was 40 years old & wired without any afterthought for who would be working on the house later, as John said. The day of install had many issues, from a supplier mistake to PUD issues. John & crew worked into the night, returning on the next day, a saturday, to make sure that everything with the panel, wiring, outlets & install was completed. John, Dan, and Trevor are a pleasure to work with. It took little explanation on what I wanted done and John explained everything he was doing and why he had to do it that way. What I thought was going to be a straightforward moving things around job was not. Dan worked on changing my florescent lights to LED, while John thought about how best to move my outlets. John then made it look easy. Once I got things I didnt realize needed to be moved out of the way, I was able to go outside and not worry about what they were doing. When there was a change, John told me what it was and explained why. Because John gave me an option I liked better and changed my mind, they made the adjustment easily.I cannot forget Rose in the office. She knows what she is doing and is easy to talk to and relays to John what I have explained to her. No confusion or having to re-explain.This is the second job I have had them do and I have to say I am impressed. I will have more electrical to do and I will have Kilowatt Electric do it.

We needed 2 baseboard heaters installed ASAP (due to squatters removing them) as it is winter time and the only heat in the cabin. Thankfully they were able to squeeze us into the schedule! Not only were they super at the job site, but also very knowledgeable to fix the wall heater that was destroyed by the squatters as well! They were mindful of the time and were efficient.
