I highly recommend Far Out Design, Inc. Curtice Jarvis, owner.Professional, knows how to layout a design, has the right products, shows up on time and works until it is done, looks great with proper installation.But the best part.. is that when there are issues Curtice goes above and beyond to solve the electrical issue and stands behind his work and the work of his trained employees. I contracted this business to replace my electric panel (a pretty pricy job) that i was holding off due to not having much trust for the unlicensed contractors in our county. The job was carried out and completed within a timely manner, and the contractors completing the job were incredibly niceUnfortunately, a team member accidentally cut a wire that he had believe to no longer be in service, which was my fiber optic that I use to receive internet to the location and work. This put me in a really tough spot as I didn’t think I would be able to work (frontier is generally a week behind) so I called the business.Within minutes of me calling at 5pm, Curtise, the owner showed up at my property, took a second look around everything, admit fault, apologized, and did EVERYTHING in his power to figure out a solution for me that wouldn’t leave me without internet. He tried for a period of 3-4 hours of his own time with a very pleasant attitude, which I am incredibly grateful for.The prices here are in line with all other well-known businesses, the owner is a standup guy, and he handles issues like an expert. I wouldn’t trust ANYBODY else with my electrical work around the house.

Upfront and honest.His guys came today and ran they ran into a slight issue. We are extremely happy with the high quality work Curtis and his crew did. They are all hard working, respectful, and knowledgeable. They did our kitchen (recommended by our g.c.) and we were so happy we had them come back and do a laundry list of items to bring our 1960s house (inside and out) into the 21st century. Curtis and his crew were all patient, flexible, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after themselves. I will continue to use Far Out Design for any electrical needs and highly recommend them.

Curtice of Far Out Design installed a Closed Caption Security system in our home 2 years ago and did an outstanding job. We had an issue with the doorbell camera due to a change we made to our internet. Curtice came out promptly, fixed the problem WE had caused and updated our software. He took the time to make sure everything was working properly on both our phones and the computer. I am very happy, not only with our camera system but also the excellent customer service Curtice provides!

Curtice installed a CCTV camera system at my house. He arrived at the scheduled time, and both he and his assistant, Matt, were friendly and professional throughout the installation. After running the lines and installing the cameras, Curtice tested the system and showed us how everything worked. I had a question after they had left and he was very helpful on the phone and assured me that I could text him if I had any other questions. I am very pleased with the work he did, and would not hesitate to recommend Far Out Design to my friends.

He responded quickly to an online request for a quote, gave us the quote on the phone, and was able to schedule the installation within a couple of days. He explained all aspects of the installation, worked efficiently and was pleasant to have in our home. Highly recommended!\

This company is a mobile technology & electrical specialist. I have had service from both of the owners, Curtice & Forrest. I wouldnt have anyone else touch my computer after dealing with them. Their work ethic is impeccable. They are very pleasant, professional & knowledgeable. I trust them implicitly.Initially it was Forrest who cleaned up my computer, removing unnecessary programs/files. He installed an automatic backup service & verified my security software. Hes the geek. He called to tell me when he was running late, worked quickly & explained in laymans terms what he was doing. He LISTENED to me & gave me options. He seemed to effortlessly work on the cleanup of my computer while we talked. He left me feeling extremely confident in his ability & the work that he performed.On another occasion, Curtice came out to fix a problem. As it turned out, my keyboard was bad. He gave me an old one from his truck to keep me operational until I could purchase a new one. Then when I couldnt get the new one to work, Curtice stopped by one evening & performed his magic. In 5 min. I was up & running with my new keyboard.In the future, I will never use anyone but Far Out Design for all of my computer repair needs. When I purchase a new computer, I will consult with them first.

This company was wonderful to work with. They were affordable and reasonable on the to other estimates I had received .They were patient with an old lady and explained the process. Curtiss came out to our home in Saint Petersburg and installed a GFI outlet for our new hot tub, Along with soffit lighting and did a fabulous job! Skilled, and a good eye.Very professional, & easy to work with. I highly recommend him for any electrical work!

Has turned my house into a smart house. I can now control just about every light switch through Alexa or my phone. He has installed 12 security cameras around the home. Smart door bell, Smart thermostat, mounted TVs, run new electrical for an addition of the house, installed ceiling fans, given me good advice, diagnosed issues, set up laptops, printers, and phones. Installed dash cams, reverse cameras, train horns, amplifiers, car audio, rewire my entire car, require my boat. There’s not much electrical I own that Far Out Design hasn’t fixed or improved. If there’s a circuit, Curtice can work it!

Let me start by saying this job was the job from hell. I am sure the entire time Ben was working on this job he was thinking the same thing. With that being said, these guys did a wonderful job. As problem after problem popped up, Ben was extremely calm and just figured out what needed to be done to accomplish it. I can’t recommend these guys enough. I’m hoping if I ever need them again they haven’t blocked my number. 😂

Curtice from Far Out Design performed an electrical job for me three weeks ago. The job was done professionally and on time. The cost was reasonable, and he presented receipts for all materials used. The site was left tidy, and the automatic sprinkler time that he installed functions perfectly.Curtis was also kind enough to spend time on the phone following the installation (which i was not present for) to address the many questions I had in regard to 220 VOLT hook up, and answered all questions in regard to safety and operation/set up of unit.I would use his services again. And I felt the price charged was reasonable for the work that he did.

I just have to say how pleased I am with Far Out Designs service today. Im a single mother and have had such bad luck with different technicians that has raked me through the coals doing unnecessary repairs and having to spend my off time waiting for someone to come and having strangers in my house!! I felt as ease immediately with the professionalism of these people!!! The fees are super reasonable compared to others...and the job is done right!!! They were super informative and keep me in the loop of everything that was done and why!! Thank you to Far Out Designs. I will be calling again on my times of extreme need!!! I finally have heat!!! Went through QMerit to install an EV charger at my house and Far Out Design won the bid. I could not be more happy that they did! Their service and professionalism was top tier, and everyone I dealt with - from scheduling to installation - was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Wish you all were closer, but will keep you first in our mind when we need future services!
