    Mike did a great job on a kitchen faucet replacement and garbage disposal installation. Called him on a Friday and he was here Saturday to check out what was needed, job complete Monday. Clean and respectful of our home and worked around our curious little dogs that likely made his job harder!

    Mike from MPD plumbing in Scituate helped with my leaky water heater.His response was very quick and within a few minutes he was here.He assessed and fixed the leak in very little time.I had been very upset, putting buckets under the pipe every day,keeping track of how much water was leaking and just hoping it would stop....not until Mike came over and fixed the problem did that happen.I am very grateful for his kind,efficient and generous help.He didnt charge me, obviously if it were more complicated there would have been a charge.Relief and much gratitude.There are some really good folks out there!!     I called Mike last night to change the faucet on my hot water dispenser. He showed up this morning at 9:30 thinking he had to put a hose on from the pic I sent last night. When he got there he realized that I needed the hot water and kitchen faucet replaced. Plumbing had corroded and he had to cut out the entire mess and start again. He and his sidekick Jimmy were excellent. Right down to replacing an O ring on the existing hot water tank that was leaking ever so lightly. Neat and clean as well! They were there for 2 hours. 2 men, 2 hours and they came to me. Bill was under $600 and I thought very fair. Id call Mike in a heartbeat for any other plumbing work I need to have done. My only regret is not calling him earlier on some of the other work that Ive done around my home.

    Mike was great. Straight forward, no nonsense, honest professional. It was a tricky fix to a leaky drain pipe behind the wall of our kitchen sink, but he made sure it got it done right. Not often you can say you enjoy a visit from a plumber, but Mike was a pleasure. Would definitely use him again.

    Best plumber in the south shore. Mike is an absolute pleasure to work with. These guys are also so neat/clean and leave their work spotless. They’ve been doing work for me for a while and everything is always done right the first time. The job is always done fast, on time, neat, professionally and they NEVER cheap out on you with materials and explain to you exactly what you need. Their prices are also really good compared to almost everyone else in the south shore.

    Mike has done multiple jobs for me over the years from big to small. Some examples are replacing the boiler in my very old home, replacing a hot water heater, to hooking up a kitchen sink. The boiler job was particularly complex and he was amazing to work with. Hes a perfectionist, knows what hes doing, and fairly priced. Highly recommended!

    Responsive and attentive . Mike is a true craftsman and top professional. He is awesome at the big jobs (we had to replace our boiler), and provides the same level of attention to detail with the little stuff (new garbage disposal) Mikes workspace is always clean and organized and we felt he respected ted our home as much as we enjoy it.

    Mike and Jamie took on a complicated install in an antique home and finished under the quote and in a few days. They were both extremely friendly and thorough as well as checked an existing gas pipe that was leaking which was installed by another plumber without my requesting.Thank you for the prompt response.

    Mike and Jamie came in several years ago when I was in the process of building a new house and the builders plumber refused to do the work I was asking for. And thank gosh I found MPD. Mike and Jamie are the best around the south shore. They did all the plumbing for my showers I wish I could of used them to do the entire house. Upon my first night living in our new house. We had water flooding from the kitchen all over the new floors, cabinets. Thankfully I was awake and soaked up the water and dried it out. I called the builders plumber who installed the fixture in the kitchen and said it malfunctioned. I called MPD again because I did not trust this plumber from the builder.They found every single faucet in the house was installed poorly and could of caused severe damage if I used any of them. Most weren’t even hooked up. Even had to fix a couple toilets and in our first winter in 2014 all the pipes froze down in Hummarock. Called MPD again and came to find out all the brand new and expensive marble that was covered in sewage could of easily been avoided had the original plumber actually pitched the plumbing. There was ZERO PITCH! So again MPD to the rescue.They are great guys, knowledgeable, respectful of your personal property and do an amazing job. Worth the money and the only company to call.I’ll be calling them again as we know have black markings all over the walls, cabinets, closets, fridge, etc. which we believe the HVAC was not installed correctly or has a crack and sending gas into the house and destroying our brand new dream hone. Mike and Jamie hopefully to the rescue!Don’t even think about calling anyone else. Just call MPD if you want it done right and professionally the first time or need to fix someone else’s poor work or whatever else it may be. They are the best around.
