I am so happy that I found Terrapin Electric! Kevin Loessberg recently installed six Philips Hue Resonate Outdoor Smart Wall Lights in my home. And it goes without saying, Kevin did a fantastic job! Very impressed! Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, but he was also extremely professional. Kevin was very upfront with project costs and time. Also, his prices were very fair. Kevin’s work is meticulously planned out and executed to perfection! I have never worked with a contractor who had better communication or pride in his work! I appreciated his consistent communication throughout the entire process and was very happy that my work could be completed within days after receiving the detailed quote! Its really rare to find his level of work ethic (and commitment to a job well done) these days. Therefore, if you are looking for a professional who will be on time, communicate clearly, complete the work exactly as you desire, and provide a level of service rarely found these days, we highly recommend Kevin Loessberg at Terrapin Electric for your home needs. I’ve had a shit show of a situation with Austin Energy pulling my meter due to a broken bypass valve. The replacement part took over 5 months to arrive trying to order it through different contractors, but Efren O. was the only electrician to stay constant and remain a part of the solution for over 6+ months. He was calm, kind and pleasant and stayed till the very end. Terrapin Electric as a company seems to be well run as well with people in communication with each other, they send out reminders and easy payment methods. Within my whole mess I experienced lies and neglect from the other electricians and companies, but definitely not from Terrapin. I would recommend them for sure.

Andrew with Terrapin was excellent, arrived at the requested time, took the time to listen to the problem. He explained what the issue might be and got right to work. Within an hour the issue was resolved with an explanation of what was wrong and the new setup, quick payment with a credit card and done! I would definitely recommend Terrapin Electric and greatly appreciate Andrews hard work.

Just used Terrapin Electric for the first time and was impressed with their level of professionalism and knowledge. This is a locally owned outfit. What could have been a lengthy and costly troubleshooting process, laden with BS, was instead diagnosed rapidly due to Efren’s experience and organization. Absolutely painless all around and problem fixed in less than 1 hour. I also greatly value my the absence of price gouging, which far too many home owners have been experiencing in Austin the past few years. We are aware and tired of it. The electrician called early to arrange an earlier time. I was thrilled with that so he arrived at that time and went right to work. He was professional and friendly and had the work I needed done in a timely manner. Will call him again if I need another electrician.

Wow! Such great service. We had lights go off and wall plugs not working. Called Terrapin Electricians and got “same day” service. Kevin Loessberg came out to my house-patiently listened to everything that we had tried and then “worked his magic.” He restored our lights, replaced faulty wall plugs in record time (1 hour) and all with a great smile and kind words. Thanks so much! Great job!!
