A+++!! I just cannot say enough good things about SDstair/Coast Building. Larry is a true craftsman and performed a miracle with our 2 story staircase! It was a HUGE project and he did a phenomenal job! It has completely transformed our home! The pictures say more than I ever could!

We are in home project mode. Back in Aug 2021 we began thinking about redoing our stairs. I contacted a few companies (there arent many) and had a few come out to talk. Larry came out to give us an estimate and we could sense that he was a true craftsman that takes pride in his work. We were in no rush so we agreed to start after the holidays (Jan 2022). We couldnt be happier with the transformation. Larry (and Andy) did a great job on the stairs in our little home. We are fortunate he agreed to take our job.

If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would gladly do so. First, our staircase turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Despite some struggles along the way on my end ie choosing a flooring and then a stain color that ultimately ended up setting our project back by weeks I was never pressured or rushed by Larry. This guy is a true craftsman who values each project he does and truly cares about his clients being happy with the finished project. His attention to detail is excellent from design, materials, style, stain color and workman ship. He takes pride in what he does and the finished project is a true reflection of how he values his craft. I highly recommend him for many reasons. He is honest, trustworthy, has a keen eye for detail, and most importantly builds gorgeous staircases.

We hired Larry to replace a half wall with a balcony railing as part of a home upgrade project and we are extremely happy with his work. He listened carefully to what we were looking for and came back with proposal that was just right for our house. He completed the job on time and the quality of workmanship as well as attention to detail are truly outstanding. The new railing completely transformed our loft.He is a pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend him.

Larry and his team did a fantastic job. Between a completely rebuilt banister, wainscoting along the staircase and on a dining room wall, as well as a complete mantle rebuild, their attention to detail, communication, and efficiency were spectacular.They were always prompt, completed the project on time and on budget, and always were courteous and clean.I would highly recommend their services and if I ever need something similar in the future, theyll be the first I call.
