    Great service! Called and got a plumber to fix a clogged drain within 2 hours. Jesse provided excellent service. He was very personable, explained what the most likely issues were, and how much each one would end up costing. He fixed it up super quick and it is now as good as new! I would definitely recommend Jesse and Detour Plumbing and plan to keep using them for the future.

    We called Detour Plumbing on a Sunday for a clogged shower drain as well as a leak in our half bath. The office answered promptly and gave us a schedule right away. Chris and Jessie arrived on time and went straight to work to assess the issues we have. They gave us a quote and explained everything in a way that is easy to understand. They were even nice enough to answer and give us recommendations on all the other Plumbing questions we had. The job was done quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and we would definitely call them again if ever we needed any other Plumbing issues resolved in the future.     I thought today was going to be an absolute disaster when my housekeeper sent me photos of the lake that my 2nd floor bathroom had turned into and also backed up into the adjacent shower and because the bathroom is over the garage, it was raining in my garage, but Detour Plumbing came to my rescue. I called and the woman in the office was kind and understanding while I was hysterical and she was able to send out Chris and Donovan within 30 minutes. When they arrived, they were friendly and professional and assured me they could fix it. They had the issue fixed and cleaned up in about 2 hours at a completely reasonable rate. They also told us to contact them and let them know if we had any issues drying everything out. Id highly recommend using them for any plumbing needs, especially an emergency like I had.

    We had a plumbing emergency, and found Cole at Detour Plumbing to be extremely helpful. He not only arrived earlier than scheduled, but he brought with him extensive knowledge, wonderful customer service, and did a fantastic job helping us fix our leaking water heater.     I had a great experience with Detour Plumbing. Hugo and Jared came out to help with leak detection and while here also gave me some great insight into the plumbing of the house and what I can do to prevent any further plumbing issues. Hugo was on time, professional and very knowledge. For any plumbing issue I am going to call these guys from now on and would definitely recommend to anyone.

    This is the second time I have used Detour plumbing since my wife and I bought a house. I was very impressed with their professionalism, punctuality and quick response time.     Detour plumbing was professional from the beginning until the end of the job. After I set up an appointment, the company sent me a text message to remind me of the appointment and another text letting me know they were on their way.Chris and Jesse explained what needed to be done to repair a leak from the upstairs bathtub and took the time to answer all my questions.Jesse showed me the end product and I am extremely happy with his work and professional input. He took the time to explain every detail of the repair.     My wife and I had an amazing experience with Detour Plumbing. Javier was amazing! We called Detour Plumbing because we could not find the plumber we had used in the past. We decided that we would try Detour Plumbing because of the many positive reviews on Yelp. The reviews where more than correct. Javier was here at the time they said he would be. Javier was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix my water heater within 20 minutes. He even took the time to explain what to look for and how I might solve the problem by myself if the problem occurred again but if I can’t solve the problem I know I can call Detour Plumbing or Javier for help. Highly recommend Detour Plumbing!

    8 months pregnant with no hot water. After our usual guy was not able to make it to us, I called Detour Plumbing at 7pm and their very professional and kind customer service member had someone there an hour and 15 mins later. She also called to update me on timing. Jared the actual service provider was friendly and professional, he identified the issue which was not clear cut, fixed it, explained how I need to care for the water heater going forward. He also pointed out my warranty was going to expire in weeks. He was in and out within 30 mins and very professional. Extremely happy with their business from call center to service. Will definitely use Detour going forward.

    I recommend DETOUR PLUMBING, and will call them again. Javier was professional and knowledgeable. He didn’t candy coat the issues of my ancient toilets, but just gave me the bottom line for the decisions I needed to make. He went above and beyond by checking a few little things throughout the house. After he left, I discovered a small issue that occurred when he was here. I called DETOUR, and they immediately sent the manager out the next day to remedy that issue. No big deal. Great customer service. Fast response. Overall 5 star experience.

    We found this Company on Yelp as they were local in Santa Clarita. What I liked most is they picked up the phone immediately and they were here to our house about 45 minutes after we called.The two techs that came were Chris and Jesse. They were both absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly, professional, courteous, respectful people. They wore masks and protective booties for their shoes. They left everything cleaner and better than when they walked in. The job was perfect and they were done in about an hour. I could not recommend them more highly!

    I would give Detour a 10 if I could. We called another company who came out and gave us a quote on our issue which was the main line that attached to the house. It was so high we decided to get 2 other quotes. Our first call after the initial company was to Detour. And we didnt go any further with another company. They were on time, Fair in the Price and got the job done right away. This was on a Friday. Since we didnt have water they made sure to be able to fit us in to their schedule. We couldnt say enough. We were so happy we had them switch out 2 toilets for us too. Fair pricing, on time, professional and got it done fast. Great JOB guys!!!! We are telling everyone about you.

    Couldn’t be more happy with the service from Detour. I’ve used them 3 times now. Had an issue with the tub faucet, 2 new toilets installed, and most recently a new water heater.     My experience with Detour Plumbing was the end of a nightmare. I had a leak in the kitchen and called another plumber who NEVER called me back. I then called Detour Plumbing after reading some excellent reviews on Yelp. I was told someone would come between 1:30 - 2:30. Hugo showed up at 12:30! Before he came in the house, he put on shoe covers. Then looked at the leak & explained what needed to be done. He made a list of parts etc, went to get them & returned and fixed the problem! He then cleaned up everything! Hugo is returning at a later date to do some additional work for us. We are so grateful to find him & Detour Plumbing. Thank you Hugo & Detour Plumbing!!

    We called Detour Plumbing with an emergency they sent Chris out within 1 hour. We had a clogged upstairs toilet with water coming through the ceiling light on the first floor. Chris and his partner were extremely professional, masked up, shoe covers on and very polite, they told me what they thought the problem might be what they wanted to do to find out and how much it would cost. They explained things so a lay person could understand. They got right to it, removed the toilet found the clog and also found that the plumbing had not been installed properly with a slope away from the toilet, they advised that we contact the builder and wrote in the notes of the invoice what they found. They were quick and thorough, replaced the ring, toilet and calked everything up and it looked like new. I would highly recommend this plumber and also will only call them in the future.

    Best experience ever with detour plumbing. I rec’d a text letting me the arrival time. Once they arrived introduced themselves, informed me of exactly what was to be done.     Im super impressed with Detour Plumbing. Jesse Mendoza and Javier Garcia were both very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my property. They got in, found the problem, and solved it right away. Detour even sent over a quality control manager, Marcus, to make sure everything was up to par.I hate that I had a plumbing issue, but Ill call only Detour for any plumbing needs I ever have from here on.     Out of three different plumbers on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, these guys where the only ones to respond promptly to our call to take care of an emergency irrigation leak in our front yard. They arrived within an hour, and immediately were on top of it. Not only did Detour have a crew of plumbers addressing the situation, but they also sent a quality control guy, Marcus, to make sure everything was transparent during the whole process. Once Marcus gave us a quote for trenching the front yard, replacing the main irrigation line and valve station, and installing a street-facing pressure regulator, Detour stuck to the quote even when having to work two whole days on the project (including Labor Day). Now THATS customer service and dedication. Marcus, Hugo, Jesse and the rest of the team were awesome. Id recommend them to anybody for any plumbing situation.

    Detour - What a TEAM!!! Our nightmare started on Thursday night when all of our plumbing was backed up. I posted on an ISO looking for someone to come and look at it. Within 20 min Jared and Jesse were at our house with a camera! We found out horrible news, that we would have to replace our entire main sewer line. :(They were so accommodating and professional we decided to go with them. The next morning by 9am sharp there were a crew of guys ready to start work. Hugo, Chris and Donovan were so great! Boy did they work! I was so impressed. It took a few days but our main line is brand new and working pefect! An amazing professional team ready and willing to go beyond to satisfy their customer. Totally recommend and I will be using them for any future projects.

    This is Denise using my sons account (long story) My garage flooded because of an old water heater so I called Detour Plumbing because of their good ratings. I called my husband and he told me to cancel the call because we had insurance so I cancelled. Chris came out anyway and he turned down the water heater and drained it at no charge. WOW!     Had a fantastic experience with Gabriel from Detour plumbing! We had some flooding from our washing machine, called several other companies but they couldnt make it until the next day. Gave these guys a call and they were very responsive and said theyd find if any of their guys are free. Soon I got a call back that someone was on the way and within 15 minutes Gabriel was there!He identified the problem and gave us a quote which was very reasonable. He even gave us some tips to fix other issues around the house.Will absolutely be using them in the future for any plumbing needs!

    I was potentially looking at a $3k re-pipe according to another plumber until I called Jerry to get info about past work he had done on our house under a prior owner. He said he was in the neighborhood and came by. He was skeptical that I needed new drain pipes and said he would send a camera down for free to see if I really needed that. Now it was my turn to be skeptical, since no plumber does work for free. Some other guys on his team started showing up and became more interested in the situation. They found that another prior plumber had left his camera head in our line (!) and they just smashed it to pieces with their snake. Said it was a teachable moment for his team. This saved me thousands. Jerry is not only a great plumber but just a good human being. Highly recommend.

    Exceptional Quality Control / Extraordinary ProfessionalismIf you need a plumber to fix your problem, there are hundreds of them. If you need a plumber to fix your problem, leave you in a better condition than they found you, inspect their work thoroughly, be courteous and professional, respect your tough situation, and treat you fairly and honestly, I’m not sure there are very many of those.Detour did all of those things for me and my family when all plumbing hell broke loose in our new home. They earned my business for life, and I’ll refer them to anyone who needs a plumber, no matter the size of the job.

When the warentee people tried to claim it was something else they got them to admit the real problem and ship me the part overnight and installed it the next day.     My tub was making a gurgling noise when we flushed the toilet. When calling around we heard things like, main drain clean out, basically a clog somewhere l.I wasn’t home but my Wife with our 3 children were home. Detour sent text message stating when they would be there and they were. Before they walked into the door, the put booties on their feet.Turned out, our massive tub drain was dry. They flushed the toilet one time and knew exactly what it was, asked us if we used the tub ever to confirm.They DID NOT try to sell my wife or me on some BS repair.They were not there very long and charged us for the service call which WE were very happy to pay! They drove to our place, used their empirical knowledge to solve the problem and tell us the cause and solution.I would recommend them to anyone.Thank you Detour!

    When it rains it pours. Hard enough living through Covid19, now try it without hot water. We woke to a busted water heater. We called a company we normally use and they quoted us an insane amount, so we called Jerod at Detour. Without even being prompted Jarod immediately understood the situation and was more than eager to help us even if it meant money out of his pocket. With the kids at home I didn’t want to leave and risk exposing them to Covid. His guys came over here and took care of everything, including dropping off our old water heater and picking up the new one. It’s safe to say this family has a new go to plumber.     Called Detour Plumbing and spoke with Chris on a Saturday night after we tried to replace our shower cartridge, but of course the repair didn’t work out the way we planned and needed help. Chris was nice enough to give advice over the phone but we were too far gone....so we scheduled service for Sunday morning to get the whole shower valve replaced. Knowing we couldn’t use our water until the valve was fixed, Chris sent Jesse Mendoza over first thing in the morning. He was early and friendly, explaining what needed to be done. Though they estimated the job would take 4 hours, they took less than 2. They wore masks and booties the entire time and did not leave a mess after they were done. We are very happy with their service and would definitely use them again, especially since they are local and are available 24/7.

    My first experience was with the receptionist who did a great job telling me about the company and then listening to my needs. We had a gas leak from the range. She said that because of the urgency of the matter, she would be send guys out right away. Chris was one of the two plumbers that came out. While one plumber fixed the gas leak, Chris offered to look at our plumbing and see if we had needs we were unaware of. I didn’t feel like I was being “sold”. I felt like I was getting a free professional inspection. Something was found and repaired that could have caused problems later. We are new to the area and we’re fortunate to have found Detour Plumbing. If you have plumbing needs, I’d encourage you to give them a call. Steve Johnson

    Of course my water heater starts splashing out water on a Sunday morning and flooding my garage. Turned off the water to the house and started looking up local plumbers. Detour Plumbing was one of plumbing companies to come up and was rated very high in customer satisfaction. Also open on Sundays. Bottom line my water heater was replaced by the next day before noon. Everyone that I came in contact with, Chris, Kaleb and Aidan were professional and good at what they do. I would recommend them and when I need more plumbing work done I will contact them again.

    Detour sent Jesse.to fix our laundry room water valve. He replaced both valves, which were leaking, and replaced the faulty PCV piping in the walls. Jesse was incredibly polite and professional.
