    Weve used Mick 3 times now for various issues in our house. Each time he has gone above and beyond to solve the issue and explains every step along the way. When I needed guidance last week on how to handle a leak he was extremely responsive and worked with me to solve the issue. It is so refreshing to work with someone who has excellent follow through and communication skills. He was readily available via phone or text. On top of being great to work with his prices are very reasonable.

    Some pipes in our garage began leaking due to a failure in the pressure regulator. We called Mick in the morning and he was able to stop by the same day for a repair which was great because we were losing a good amount of water and were worried about other pipes in the home bursting due to the increased water pressure. He replaced the broken regulator and installed a more reliable main shutoff valve (which actually looks like a shutoff valve compared to the plastic junk we had before). Mick was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and had us back up and running in just a couple hours. He also helped us troubleshoot a small issue with our dishwasher, free of charge. We are very happy with Micks work and he will be the first person we call if we ever need additional plumbing work!

    Mick (owner Companion Plumbing) exemplifies personalized customer service with accurate estimates and on-time service. We needed an outdoor faucet bib replacement which he switched to a better design for easier hose attachment and added an indoor shutoff valve. He carefully explained everything that needed to be done along with future advice. The job was done quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. He honored the original estimate despite adding the indoor valve and would not even accept a tip. Weve already scheduled another job to fix a leaking Dornbracht kitchen faucet awaiting parts. We highly recommend Mick and Companion Plumbing to all our friends and neighbors.

    Mick is a very honest and reputable guy. He is quick to answer and return your call. He did offer same day service and addressed all of my issues with my hot water tank and pointed out areas of concern in my bathroom which he addressed and fixed. No high pressure sales tactics, he gave you the option to fix something yourself by explaining the process or gave you fair pricing to complete the tasks. I have used other services and by far he was the most helpful with more than fair pricing. Thank you Mick, we plan to continue to use you and your company for all of our plumbing and furnace needs. Id give you 6 starts, but Google limits us to a max of 5.

    Companion plumbing has a history of all 5-star reviews and based on my experience today with the owner Mick I understand why. My kitchen ceiling started leaking a few days ago and the top notch water damage mitigation company I hired couldnt identify the source of the leak even after they opened the ceiling. When I asked them for a referral to a plumber they recommended Mick at Companion plumbing without hesitation. Up to that point the focus had been looking for a leak in the master bathroom because it was directly above my kitchen. However when they tested the master bathroom was there was no evidence of a leak involving any of the fixtures. When Mick arrived he did a quick walkthrough of the entire upstairs while the water was still turned off and literally within 5 minutes suspected a supply line in a toilet in the next room could be leaking even though it wasn’t currently leaking and there was no puddle or obvious signs it had been leaking. When we turned the water back on sure enough there was a slow drip from that supply line which was immediately wicked into the adjacent baseboard. The ceiling stopped leaking as soon as that supply line was replaced. I had feared it would be necessary to open the shower wall in the master bathroom because it was the most obvious place to start looking. If we had done that it would have been expensive and disruptive only to find out there was no leak. It was very clear Mick’s heart is in his work, he’s very customer service oriented, and he holds himself to a very high standard of integrity because he had no interest in turning a simple problem into an expensive service call. Since Mick has the experience, intuition, and integrity to solve challenging plumbing problems very efficiently I recommend him whole heartedly.

    We recently had a sewer line backup at our new home on a Saturday morning. Our regular plumber couldnt make it, so he suggested Mick Garvey from Companion Plumbing and Heating. Mick arrived within an hour and efficiently cleared a large root blockage. Hes honest, professional, knowledgeable, and offers fair pricing. Highly recommend!

    I cant express how great the experience was with this company. Mick came out and actually went above and beyond! Im the property manager and I live in the house that he worked on. There were things that I didnt know where wrong with my system, I thought it was just a clogged drain that I somehow couldnt manage to take care of myself. Mind you, I do have a construction background but Im not a plumber. He explained everything properly and made it easy to understand, showed up when he said he would, was done when he said he would and left no mess whatsoever. He actually told us when he was taking a break and how long he would be......he was really respectful! My wife and I 100% recommend them! I will be telling my friends about them

    I had Mic out to look at my furnace which is old and ready to get replaced. He was the 3rd company to look at it. The first two recommended a full replacement, which he agreed on based on the age, but he took the time to go through things piece by piece to diagnose what the real problem was. The first companies just told me it was the main board and left a quote for a full replacement. Mick found out the root issue, then walked me through in terms I could comprehend, why he could see the board working properly and it was something different.The machine is 20+ years old so its likely to go anyways but I appreciated the time he took with me to diagnose the true issue, talk through costs and options. Highly recommended!!

    Their website is highly accurate. Meet your new favorite plumber. Thats a pretty bold statement. But after using Companion to install our three new toilets, its one we completely agree with. We were so impressed by the professionalism, quality of work and customer service Mick provided that we can indeed say, yes, he is our new favorite plumber.     We had a great experience with Mick. We called in the evening after hours, and he responded to my call the next morning before 10am and even showed up the same day. We found Mick to be easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and very patient when answering all our questions. He was also honest when sharing our options to fix a problem.He was able to fix a leak in a pipe underground within a couple hours and we’ve asked him to return to help us with some other work. We are incredibly thankful for Mick’s time and help and highly recommend him!

    Mick is super friendly and very knowledgeable! He gave us a diagnosis, not just an isolated fix. He explained everything that was going on, and actually identified the root cause of our issue (that multiple plumbers before had overlooked). He was able to give us an estimate and repair the issue same day. He had some suggestions for additional improvements to minimize risk in our home, but didn’t give us a hard pitch or try to make us scared of something being urgent that wasn’t. Will definitely call Mick next time we need plumbing help!

    Called Mick for a water damage issue in our house in Issaquah which we thought was plumbing related. He dug into the walls and spent a lot of time beyond what was expected for a free inspection. In the end, he concluded that its likely due to a leak coming from the outside thats causing the issue. These days its incredibly hard to find an honest and diligent contractor / plumber. I called several others that either said they wanted a charged session to just take a look or just simply flaked out. I am definitely sending all my future plumbing work to Mick!

    We were getting ready to renovate an unfinished room that had a gas pipe sticking out of the wall. We wanted the wall to be as flush as possible, so we wanted to get rid of this protruding pipe.Mick came to diagnose and was able to cut the pipe for us on the same day. He gave us a few options and thankfully, we didnt have to cut into any existing dry wall. So glad! He was professional, quick, and the price felt reasonable.Also, Mick and his wife just had a baby, yet he still showed up. We didnt expect him to help so soon, but glad he was able to. This speaks to his work ethic and customer care.

    Happened to notice a leak in my pipe and Mick was over at our neighbors house for a job there. Asked if he could take a quick look and he found a leak quickly. Called him the next day and he came out a couple days later. Job went super quick and did a great job. We had a weird pipe situation and he wasnt 100% sure if the fix would work out so told us to keep an eye on it and call him if it continued to leak, but so far things have been working as expected! Very satisfied with the job done, and Mick is super friendly and communicative!

    Micks is really professional. I highly recommend him for any plumbing or any service he provides. My water heater went out on me I couldnt shower or my family. We couldnt wait, it was a emergency. Mick came out the same night and replaced my water heater the quality and his knowledge is really professional and great. Hes really friendly and will answer any questions you got. Other companies I had called they will over charge me for the same night to come out to replace my water heater or say they are busy, but mick gave me a reasonable price so overall Im happy about my service.

    My pipes froze and burst after thawing. Mick responded to my emergency text and sent a technician, Wakely, with in 15mins. Who worked fast at removing ice blockage, replacing the damage piece, then worked hard to wrap pipes in foam protection and walk me through it all. In my excitement to have running water I butt dialed Mick and he called me back immediately to make sure I was alright. Needless to say customer service is stellar - which is worth its weight in gold when you feel most stressed.

    Just had Mick here to replace 2 toilets.He gave me a quote prior to coming here which I felt was very reasonable for the work involved.     Mick is a super personable dude who came out on short notice to try to find a leak that was causing a drain of 45 gallons per hour from my house.This ended up being a multi-day effort where he found the source of the leak to be outside the house on day 1, identified the root cause on day 2, fixed the leak by digging underground and repairing the joint, and then replacing the earth at the end. For all of this, he gave a very fair quote which was at the lower end of what he had projected in any case, so I was very happy with the value for work.In the process, he also identified that the outdoor hose line was destroyed and replaced that along with the rest of the project, for no additional cost. This was a very professional gesture that speaks to the high quality of work that he does.A few days later, I had issue replacing a cartridge in my toilet and had hit a wall at the end of the process, and I reached out to him to come help. He came and dealt with the matter within 20 minutes and did this as well for no charge. Mick is a professional who values building relationship with his clients, and I would 100% recommend his services for anyone who needs it. I would certainly re-hire him for any plumbing work in the future and he is now my preferred plumber for any work that needs to be done.

    I had a couple of pretty significant plumbing issue ( well in my eyes) and had received 2 estimates from other companies for one of the issues already that were disheartening and ridiculously high. When I told my friend about my experiences she referred me to Companion Plumbing. Best. Decision. Ever.     They came and fixed years of neglected and improperly fixed plumbing in my basement. He designed and installed a sump pump system and utility sink in place of some very questionable previous work.     Mick provided us with phenomenal service several times on our historic home with a modern addition, and after seeing the consistent flawless quality of his work, will be the only plumber we hire. Not only was he able to attend to details and issues we knew we had, he proposed resourceful solutions to prevent an issue that the inspector didn’t catch, which would have been extremely costly to us this winter.     Had a big leak spring up in a pipe leading to the house during the 95+ heatwave and had to turn the water off. Locating and dug to the pipe and needed to find a plumber to repair it. Luckily Mick had some open time, responded instantly to my photos with an estimate and offer to come right away. Turns out he was only a mile away and was there within minutes.     We suddenly lost water pressure and discovered that a pipe had burst to an uninsulated laundry room addition to our home during this cold spell and was flooding everywhere. Mick just happened to be across the street working at a neighbors house and came over to help us turn off the main water line and troubleshoot the problem. He quickly figured out what was going on and was even able to turn off the water to the addition so we could turn the main line back on. We are so grateful for the help and were really impressed by his knowledge and willingness to help us out in a jam. We will definitely be using him for our future plumbing needs!
