    FLC did an excellent job enhancing the insulation in our attic. The original job when the house was built before we bought it was inferior and incomplete. FLC made a difference in the echoes in the house as well as, I’m sure, our power bill in the future. The office staff Is friendly and cooperative since we had to change the date on one occasion and the experts Jeremy and his associate who came to actually do the insulation were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, neat, and took time to explain everything to us. They were also very considerate of our family member who is sensitive to sound. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them And will likely move forward with some enhancements to our crawlspace encapsulation. You can’t go wrong with FLC.As a follow-up review, based on FLC Energys excellent work, we decide to go beyond some repairs and engaged them to redo our entire crawlspace. We were a challenging customer requiring extra attention to the materials used, due to health issues for a family member who is sensitive to chemical scents and many construction products and sounds. Christine handled the arrangements and communictions perfectly from the FLC office, to ensure they met all special requirements. Justin, Wesley and Tommy did an excellent job customizing the crawlspace project. While they were onsite for three days they communicated and coordinated their excellent work with impressive consideration for our special needs, updating us as they proceeded. Crystal, at the office, followed up with plans for electricians to arrive following the completion of the encapsulation for our extra needs.If you are looking for professional, skilled, caring, knowledgeable people, FLC delivers beyond the call of duty.

    I would love to share my experience with FLC Energy. We were experiencing high humidity levels in our house which had resulted in mildew formation. We chose FLC Energy to conduct an audit due their stellar reputation. Ryan came and inspected our attic and crawl space and discovered that each area was poorly insulated with soggy insulation discovered in the attic area due to roofing issues from the past. FLC encapsulated both areas and our humidity levels have already returned to a healthy level. I cannot stress enough how professional and friendly every single individual involved in this process was. Looking forward to see what our energy savings will be this winter.

    I would like to share our experience with FLC Energy. We needed to have the crawl space under our home worked on. It was a mess. Ryan (The owner of FLC Energy) came to our home at the scheduled time the day after we called. He put his mask and plastic suit on and went under the house. After a thorough inspection, he came out and told us what he had found. There was water leaking in at the crawl space entries (We have two) and would need to have metal covers fabricated which would prevent the water from coming in, two sump pumps that needed replacing, water pooling in various spots under the house due to the dirt not being level, lots of debri left from previous repairs that needed to be removed, cables and wires hanging down that needed to be put back up, a support pier that had fallen over that would need to be removed or relaced and the thin plastic water barrier was all muddy and would need to be replaced with a more heavy duty one. Sent us a quote the next day and we gave him the okay to do the work. They got us on their schedule quickly. His crew came as scheduled and completed all the the repairs necessary. Ryan, his office staff and the crew that did the work were all polite and extremely professional. We would highly recommend FLC Energy for all your energy needs!

    Huge amount of thanks to FLC for identifying/fixing/recommending other needed repairs following a damaged crawlspace as a result of a fire in the neighborhood.     Great team! Ryan performed an energy audit in 2021 and since then has been instrumental in helping us improve the energy efficiency of our nearly 100 year old home.     I use this company a few years ago to insulate my attic to redo crawl space to test windows and doors for air leakage and other things like that very very efficient stuck to deadlines used quality materials and the owner came in and did pre and post inspections and just recently had them come in and do maintenance on my systems in my crawl space highly recommend them.

    We had FLC install a April Aire dehumidifier & seal around the perimeter of the crawlspace. They did a great job on everything. I was very pleased with the care they took during installation & the extra effort they put into making sure everything was sealed in the crawlspace for better dehumidifier efficiency!     My wife and I bought our first house last year. A friend recommended FLC to come do an energy audit for us and find out how efficient the home was. Turns out, not very. Ryan and his team came in and turned around an unbelievably thorough proposal, and went above and beyond to execute it.     Since my parents will struggle to navigate the complicated google star review system, Im going to post a review on behalf of the family.FLC did an energy audit on my parents house (which I believe was built in the 1950s) and found a way to vastly improve the draftyness and energy bill in the summer and winter months, especially in the living room with the cathedral ceiling.I hired FLC to do the insulation for a new construction a few years later. This was a combination of rigid and spray foam. They did an absolutely professional job. It was almost a shame to cover it all up with drywall.Both times the crew was clean, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. A great experience all around. I always recommend them.

    I cant say enough good things about FLC. We worked closely with Ryan and Shawn, who developed and executed a detailed plan to seal and insulate our 123 year old home. Their knowledge, expertise and responsiveness during this process was incredible. Also, they worked with DelMarva power to obtain energy saving rebates which cut our cost in half. In addition, when we experienced a water pipe break shortly after the work was done and thought it might have been caused by a worker, they showed up almost immediately to fix the pipe and several others. When we determined that the broken pipes were likely caused by extreme cold, we offered to pay for the repairs but they refused to accept payment. Im happy to provide my highest endorsement of FLC without reservation.

    After receiving the results of an audit performed by Energize Delaware we decided to have our whole house energized. We were losing quite a bit of energy from common air leaks throughout our home that we were not aware of. The Energize Delaware program Auditor referred us to FLC Energy to get an estimate of what it would cost to have our home fully energized.FLC energy was great! They did a home improvement proposal and listed all of the areas within our home that we were losing energy from like air, leaks, old, insulation, etc.We were shooting for at least a 20% improvement however, we got over 50% improvement once the final test out audit was completed.They started with a blower test for the pre-work. They included air sealing, attic insulation, existing ventilation, improve ventilation for indoor air, quality, crawlspace findings. Now our home has a pearl certification which will increase the value of our home.As a result of FLC energy, our home is airtight, more comfortable, our thermostat is better regulated and they did what they said they would do!Their team of Employees were top notch very professional.     FLC did a great job last week in our home on sealing up our ducts and all the leaks into the attic and then adding new insulation. They also sealed up and insulated the knee walls in our house which previously you could feel they were warm to touch. Seems like our upstairs cools quicker and the knee wall areas are cooler too.     My wife and I purchased a home in Centreville that had been vacant for a few years. It was built in 1980 and hadnt been insulated very well. We gathered numerous estimates and did a lot of research before settling on FLC. I dealt with Ryan from the start. He is very professional and it was clear from our first conversation that there are strong values at FLC concerning customer service. We hired them to insulate our attic and to condition our crawl space. They arrived on scheduled and worked consistently until the project was complete. They worked out a $2,000 rebate offered through the state and didnt justify hacking up there price because of it like a couple other companies had clearly done. They also didnt subcontract the work out. Ryan was present for the whole thing. They managed to get the house insulated like a new construction, twice as efficient as before. We have been living here for 5 months now and everything they did has been working. The crawl is so comfortable I dont even mind when I need to enter it. Lastly, in month one we had a pipe burst in a location near an outer wall. This was not the fault of FLC but I explained that I had assumed that area would be protected by the attic insulation they had installed. Ryan came in and built an insulation box around the at risk pipes and only charged me materials - less than $80. Cant recommend these guys enough.

    Justin ran his crew like a well-oiled machine. They were consistently here on schedule, always very professional, explained everything as they went along, provided photos of the work on a daily basis (since we couldn’t go under the house), were so incredibly thorough, worked so hard, accomplished so much each day ….we can’t say enough good about them! Our house was literally about to collapse through the floor, a situation that had been developing unobserved in our crawl space over time. It truly was being held up by prayer and the grace of God. At least 140 floor joists had to be replaced or sistered. The crawl space had to be cleaned of old, hanging insulation, dirt that had been left in piles under the house during construction (which we did not know at the time), additional power had to be run, drainage had to be dug and equipment (sump pumps, a dehumidifier, and duct work) had to be installed. All of that was after there was extremely thorough spraying to kill mold and halt the rotting process. A new, second access to the crawl space had to be created. The encapsulation had to be fitted and installed. The sheer amount of work was overwhelming, but not to FLC. They ate that elephant one bite at a time, never faltered, never slowed down, never expressed anything but confidence and competence. Every day they were here, when they departed at the end of the day you could not tell they had been here – no debris, not even a candy wrapper in the yard, no construction evidence, every sign perfectly picked up and carried away. Bruce has severe asthma and Justin was diligent in letting us know ahead of time when he should not be here, such as during the mold-killing spray. Throughout this process, every man on the team was pleasant and friendly, and all of them were respectful of our home. We feel so much safer now, we have confidence that our home will hold up for another generation or maybe four or five more. The air quality, its gradual deterioration unnoticed over time, is markedly better. Thank you, FLC and especially Justin and the team, for changing our lives and saving our home.     We had a serious carbon monoxide problem with our water heater. Ryan came out and not only identified this problem but identified numerous ways we could save energy. The energy work was done promptly and we were informed of energy credits that were available to us Due to his audit we proceeded to have a new water heater (tank less--our choice) installed. I would have no problem recommending an energy audit by Ryan even if you arent starting from a position where a problem exists. The long lasting bulbs we received throughout the house easily defrayed the minimal cost of the audit.

    I had my crawl space conditioned recently. They did a great job, and everything was done in a timely manner. Throughout the process, all staff was knowlegable and always answered any questions i had. Would recomend to anyone.
