    Jimmy did a fantastic job installing an our new bathroom exhaust fan. He was able to run new cable with minimal drywall damage and he completed the job quickly. He communicated regularly with us regarding scheduling and job details. His prices were very reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be using Great Power Electrical in the future.

    Our experience with GPE was wonderful and amazing. The project was to add new laundry lines for a washer and dryer from the box to a wall about 12 ft away. They were very timely, he did the project the Friday of the week we got the quote, and he was done in 2hrs. The work looks solid and professional.They were always very responsive and nice on the phone as well, all in all very professional, thorough, and we are super satisfied with the work and price!For us, he was able to run the line thru the floorboards of our unfinished attic, so there was minimal cutting thru walls or ceiling. He put the one piece of drywall back in place, but we have to patch it ourselves, which is to be expected and no biggie, especially because of how small the hole is.Keep in mind though, we wanted our washer/dryer hookups on the outside of the wall. If youre looking to have yours behind a finished wall, more removal will be needed. And to note, the marks on the wall are from shelves we removed prior to the electrical installation.

    We called GPE for garage light replacement; they were fast to respond, friendly to work with, very knowledgeable and had our issue fixed the same day! We will be using GPE/Jimmy for all our electrical needs from here on out. 10/10 recommend!

    I can’t say enough GREAT things about Greater Power Electrical! We used this company to replace several ceiling lights, a ceiling fan, and also had them fix a bathroom vanity light that the previous owner did not install correctly. My first call to them was answered by Jaclyn, who was so pleasant and helpful right from the start. She confirmed with her husband Jimmy what we would need to buy for replacement fixtures, gave us an estimate for the job, and scheduled our date. A time window was provided the day before and Jimmy arrived on time as promised. He put all the replacements together and had things done in no time! He was also super knowledgeable regarding a few other questions we had for future projects. All in all we could not be happier and Greater Power Electrical has our business for life! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    I called Greater Power Electrical after the ceiling fan and light in my son’s room fell. Their technician arrived promptly, replaced the broken parts, and reinstalled the fixture. The entire job was done efficiently in just 30 minutes, and he even vacuumed up all the debris afterward. To top off the excellent service, the final bill was less than the original quote. Fantastic company with great customer service—I’ll definitely be using them again in the future!

    I have met a lot of people in my life. But this guy is by far, one of the nicest I’ve been blessed to meet. Jimmy was highly recommended to do some electrical work on our outside home lighting, to help make it safer for my family to enter into after dark and add a little beauty to its structural appearance. His professionalism and knowledge was outstanding and we are grateful for work he provided.     Excellent service! I made a call to Greater Power for what I felt was an urgent issue, as I smelled an electrical burning smell in my kitchen. Literally, within the hour of my call, they were out at my residence, inspected and rectified the problem (a fried wiring inside an outlet). Service was quick and professional.     I texted Jimmy at 9pm last night(Friday) in a panic, after the first day of my shed demo. The demo team could not figure out how to shut the power off to the shed without shutting off the entire house. When the power was turned back on, of course, someone shocked themselves. I asked Jimmy if he could come out and take a look and he came this morning right at 8am! He was in and out in 10mins. Ive already requested for him to come out and wire my new shed. He informed me that he was booked out for a month or so and even though I really wanted a quick turnaround on this project, I will wait 6months for Jimmy if I have to! He is super responsive, kind, professional and an expert in his craft. I will definitely be a forever customer and will be recommending him to everyone!Jimmy, thank you so much!

Helped me navigate re-energizing a power box that had been out for over a year, which on the surface would seem quite easy to do; however, between Calvert County regulations & SMECO requirements, it gets complicated real fast.
