TLC Home just completed the renovation of our home built in the 1980’s. We had put off this major remodel for years because of the obvious concerns. Not just the monetary aspects but possible overwhelming stress that can come along with a project of this size. We were very fortunate and blessed to find Alan and Tracy Chapell of TLC. This construction company is both responsive and responsible from the initial fair estimate until the completion of the remodel. To our relief we never felt stressed. We had a great working relationship which is essential when working with your contractor. We always felt comfortable when we needed to get in touch with them. They were always available. And we never felt like we were hassling them. Their professionalism showed in their promptness, quality of work, knowledge, communication, and availability. With our agreement with TLC we could stress less. We are so grateful for Alan and Tracy and the entire crew of TLC. Their work ethic is impeccable and their follow up fantastic. We highly recommend TLC Home. Thank you Alan and Tracy. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We ended up with our dream home that we and our family will enjoy for years!Robert and Linda

This team was extremely easy to work with. They organized the entire project so I didnt have to worry about permits or any of the construction details. The teams they sent to work the project were very patient with me (as I know little to nothing about contracted construction), and answered any questions I had along the way. They did an excellent job down to the very last detail. I would work with them again for sure!

I chose TLC Home for my very first renovation experience and could not be happier with the results. We originally planned to remove and replace tiles in an old shower, a vanity and some old wall fixtures, but on demo day, we changed course and decided to replace the shower with a soaking tub. Alan and Tracy (owners) were so great to work with; they answered all of my questions in advance, checked in on progress regularly and overall helped me feel less nervous about the project. Kevin and Tom performed the work and did an excellent job. Not only are they both very skilled, they are also nice guys and it didnt bother us much to have them in our house often over the course of several weeks. All in all, TLC Home made my bathroom dream come true and I highly recommend them for home renovation!

My wife and I interviewed and received estimates from a number of renovation/construction companies in and around St. Augustine before we started our full-blown kitchen project. We decided on TLC and we are so very happy we did. We have never worked with anyone who was more honest, reliable and straightforward as Alan and Tracy (the owners). They went above and beyond to accommodate us as we were forced to live with the construction due to the virus restrictions.Their tradespeople are top notch and meticulous, reliable, friendly and accommodating as well. It was obvious the entire company works as a family and because of that attitude their customers appear to become part of the family as well because of the positive spirit they bring with them to the jobMy wife and I have both worked extensively with contractors in our professional lives in various parts of the country prior to retirement and we both agree we have never worked with anyone better than TLC and expect to continue with them in future projects as we work to improve and up-date our twenty-year-old St. Augustine home. In the process we feel we found new friends in TLC Home and their people. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

This company cares. From the prompt responses to positive attitudes, all parties brought to us the confidence that we and our home would be of the highest priority. We met our timeline, had help to access services outside the scope of our contract, and felt our home was kept safe during the period of construction. Any concern was addressed as valid and important, which solidified our confidence in the entire remodel process. Great energy came when the TLC truck arrived at our home, consistently, even with the unrelated and unforeseen issues (leak found in the ceiling, A/C froze, Portolet truck tore up yard)---- TLC took care of things beyond the job description. ---And followed up to ensure satisfaction AFTER the final walk through. I cannot recommend another service company higher than TLC; there is no better. Thank you for our revived home, TLC!

We had a 4 by 6 foot area of our kitchen ceiling that contained lighting above a drop ceiling that needed to be replaced because the drop ceiling was a mess. Alan replaced the ceiling with stained wood that matches the cabinets and built-in lights and it is beautiful. Very high quality workmanship at a reasonable price.
