    We are beyond grateful for Paul Dunn and the work he completed at our home this morning. Last night our electricity was acting up, at which point it was shut off by Eversource due to an issues with the meter. We called Paul at 10pm, he picked up promptly, and helped us figure out a plan.This morning he was able to come earlier than anticipated, found the parts we needed on a Sunday after contacting his distributor, and was an amazing communicator. He was reasonably priced and honest, which is tough to find now and days.If you are in need of any electrical work, I totally recommend Paul. He is going to be our go-to moving forward.

    Paul answers his calls and texts timely and schedules appointments promptly. I have used Paul in the past for an emergency call and he showed up the same day and took care of everything quickly. This week when we needed a bathroom fan/light replaced he was the one I called. Paul made sure the item was purchased and installed the next day. He showed up exactly when he said he would and completed the work timely. These qualities and this type of service is hard to find and I feel lucky to have Pauls services available to me.     I called Paul because we’re having some windows installed and when they opened the wall they found some wires that needed to be rerouted. I left a message on Paul’s answering machine and he called me back so quickly. He saw the picture that I sent him and determined that it was a small job and was able to complete the work on the same day due to another job falling through. I really appreciate Paul’s professionalism and great communication, and he will be my first call in the future. Thanks Paul!

    Paul did an amazing job. My exterior outlet got water in it and tripped the circuit. I had no idea what was going on and since I dont like to play with electricity, I called my usual electrician. Since it was a Saturday, he didnt answer. I called Paul. He answered, talked me through what might be happening, assured me that things were ok and gave me the option of an immediate response or wait until Monday, explaining the difference in price. I felt totally ok waiting, but my schedule is a little challenging. He rearrange his jobs to fit my schedule, came out, checked everything, explained what happened, replaced the outlet, cleaned up, and was gone within 1/2 hr. and the price was so reasonable. I went back to work raving about him and passed his name along to two other coworkers who were looking for a responsive and professional electrician. I would highly recommend and would 100% call him again if I need anything electrical.

    Paul answered his phone at 530 pm and helped me through a flicking non stop power situation that Eversource said was fine and nothing was wrong. Out of all the large companies that i called and was told a return phone call would happen, I am still waiting for them to call me back. Paul knew exactly what the problem was, however it was on Eversource to get us access to the problem. 4 Eversource technicians later, the problem was found and Paul literally dropped everything he was doing and came to my house to make the fix. Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and just a cool guy! He cared is main point here. He truly took the time to explain everything and was able to provide answers, and a fix. Knowing what was wrong, trying to get Eversource to see what the problem was, was the task at hand, but Paul, paired with a knowledgeable Eversource technician (4th one is a charm) got me the fix that my rental house needed.     I was having many electrical problems. Eversource shut me off at 8pm last night because I had a bad neutral on my outside meter. Its Saturday night, in July, and Im lighting candles. I founds Paul Dunn phone number and I could just tell immediately I liked the guy, and He knew exactly what was wrong. I sent Him some pictures, and he said he would squeeze me in his busy schedule for my emergency, for 6:15 AmI woke up at 6am, he was already working on it. By 7:30 power was back on.I cant explain how great it feels to have someone come save you from a nightmare. I could of spent thousands of dollars with all new equipment, but Paul knows his stuff!!!Honest, and reasonable, old school.Saved me a ton of cash, and he made his money, and we both walked away happy. Thats how it should be folks.Pauls my new guy!Call Paul before you get talked into replacing everything. If its possible to fix, hell figure it out, if not, at least you know the honest truth. Straight shooters dont lie.

    I write this review having never used Pauls services. I called with an issue that had my ceiling fan and microwave smoking after a load pop at my breaker panel. After talking with him (he answered the phone the first time I dialed) he suggested that the issue was on the Eversource side and to call them first. He was willing to come out, however he was confident in his deduction and did not want to charge me for his time just to find out that it was an Eversource problem. I called the supplier and sure enough Paul was write. Even though I did not use him, I will in the future because of his professionalism, honesty and patience with me. Thank you Paul.

    Paul came out on Xmas Eve day on an emergency call, when it was extremely cold and the pipes were in danger of freezing. He installed outlets on the electrical panel so a heater could be set up in the cellar of my antiquated house. I never expected someone to return my call so quickly or be so willing to help out. Paul saved me from disaster.

    I had an entire circuit acting up one morning just as a winter storm was approaching, expected to hit the next day. I called Paul and he quickly answered my message. He rearranged his work day so he could come out and take a look at my panel. The problem was intermittent so it was not straightforward but he quickly was able to diagnose the issue and got things working perfectly again. He is a good communicator and you can feel confident that he will do excellent work.

    Absolutely wonderful. A great electrician and a great person. Not knowing us he came for an emergency repair at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and definitively at an extremely reasonable price. But more than that - he seemed to really care - he answered my many anxious questions patiently and gave me lots of important tips on our electrical system. He also was very sensitive and careful about our worries about COVID (my mother’s 87). You just couldn’t do better.

    Paul responded to my panic call on a hot weekend, climbed into a hotter attic and diagnosed several issues with our A/C system. He worked very well with guests who were renting our place at the time. He was very kind, knowledgeable and caring and we greatly appreciate his help.     Friday night. Easter weekend. We arrived home to find half the house without power. The wind had been howling so could be from that or maybe a lightning strike targeted the circuit breakers. Or who knows what? Who ya gonna call when its been years since you have had to bring in an electrician??? After searching around the web and reading reviews, Paul Dunn was first on our list. Couldnt find anybody who had a bad word to say about him! We had 4 other names penciled in below his on our call list just in case he was out of town. But lucky for us, Paul took our Saturday morning call and said he would be there after his first customer. He asked us to forward our text number since he was on the road. Extra points for safe driving. Then he texted to tell us he was on his way and give us his approximate ETA. He even showed up a bit early. Paul is the perfect mix of professional, congenial and efficient. His service call charge was more than fair and affordable. His experience in the field is comprehensive. Paul checked circuits, all were ok. Within 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem as originating in the line from the pole into the house and advised us to call EverSource who came later that day. Sure enough, wire on the street had pulled out from one of their poles and soon we were back in business. Based on our new customer experience, we highly recommend that Paul Dunn should be the first call you make for emergency service and your other home electrical bugs, installations, etc. Though his last name starts with a D, he is now the FIRST card in our Rolodex and has been added to our iPhone contacts as well.     I called Paul when I got myself into a sticky situation with a switch. It was Sunday, but he advertised 24-hour emergency service. True to the offering, we was onsite in less than an hour, and was a great help. Within an hour he had fixed my problem and taught me a few things as well. He has my highest recommendation!

    We were without power on Cape Cod with friends coming down for the weekend. After making sure that there was power to the house, I called as many electricians as I could get. I always got answering machines. Only one other electrician besides Paul ever gave me a call back that day (a couple did the next day). Paul was there before it got dark, figured out the problem and fixed it in under two minutes from his truck to completion. I recommend.

    We had a lightning strike that destroyed our electrical panel. This is especially bad when you have a well. Paul came right over and gave us a temporary fix until he could replace the panel the next day. Ive never used Paul before but he still responded quickly and fixed our problem (even though he was on vacation). I would definitely recommend him for any electrical problem!

    Paul was amazing. He did a job no one else would have done. He climbed to the top of a difficult roof to replace a lightbulb in our cupola. There was no way to get access to inside of cupola. No screws. He came down, went back up, cut a small opening, replaced bulb and covered with a waterproof plate. Lots of decisions in this job. Which was best access to roof? What to do when no access? He didnt give up. You cant see the plate but he took pics and it is such a neat job well done. He also replaced a timer for us. His price was very fair. I would hire him again as I know hes the kind of guy that goes the extra mile and gets things done.

    Totally panicked because half my house was without power at 9 at night. I called Paul because he had good reviews, was local, advertised 24/7 and i didn’t want to make my cousin drive from over the bridge to help. He assured me it sounded like an outside issue and to call Eversource. Frankly, I did not care about the cost, I just wanted it fixed. He calmed me down, told me to call Eversource before they switched shifts and to let him know. Within 39 minutes Eversource was here, my power was on and it did not cost me a thing. He could ha we really taken advantage of me, but he didn’t. That says everything!

    So its early New Years Day, 2021. Our oil burner refuses to start. Oil burner technician comes out, replaces a few parts, cant get it working, and finally says, I think you need an electrician. Mr. Dunn comes out, first contact with him ever - and asks a few questions, examines circuits in a few locations, and walks over to the main circuit breaker box. He runs his hand over the white wires to the right, and says, You have a neutral wire that is not connected properly. He tightens one wire (out of many!) up, and everything is back working!!!     I had damage to the underground service line to my home and lost a leg of power to my meter five days before Christmas. I called Paul and he responded to me within 10 minutes. After our call he said he needed to make some calls to see if the excavation company he uses would be available and would be in touch that afternoon. 15 minutes later I had a call back and was on track to be up and running before the holidays.     Paul Dunn is a gem in an industry that is understaffed, projects are booked weeks in advance, and emergency response services are advertised but not supported - generally - due to the acute electrician shortage.Paul is a straight shooter. He is a man dedicated to his profession and a person who genuinely cares about helping others in need and making a difference.Our oil burner at our home in Marstons Mill, MA here on Cape Cod stopped working at about 6:30 PM last night - December 26th. I immediately realized the electricity powering the burner stopped working.I called more than a dozen electricians. None had an available electrician for the coming week. I called Paul this morning - December 27th. Paul answered my call while on site at a job. I explained our situation. No heat overnight. My 84-year-old mother made it through the heatless night last night but cannot do so again tonight. Paul walked me through by telephone things to check to identify the problem. Nothing changed.Paul gave me his word he would come asap. 42 minutes later Paul and his apprentice were on site. Within 30 minutes of their arrival, the electricity to the oil burner was working and heat resumed in the house.I have worked with many electricians in my time, but few have the communication skills and the desire and ability to educate customers about their electricity infrastructure etc. as Paul. While Paul was here at our home, he explained why the electricity failed. Paul also answered a few questions about other electricity issues we have. He shared a few pointers to save us money tooWe found a real gem in Paul. When we need an electrician, Paul will be the person we call. Paul is honest, professional, and transparent in a market in which finding an electrician often requires a week to seven weeks wait.I highly recommend Paul for any electrical work.Ed

    I would highly recommend Paul Dunn. He was quick to respond, did great work, handled multiple jobs I threw at him, and came back promptly when I asked him to return to modify some work. He was personable, cheerfully shared his knowledge, and was a complete professional.

    There are no words to explain how grateful I was to have Paul call me back right before a winter storm was supposed to hit Cape Cod. I was in a crunch, I bought a new generator, needed a home hookup and he did it all the same day and even stayed at my house until 9:30pm at night to try and figure out why my generator wasnt working. He was professional, caring and very educational as to what was going on. I highly recommend Paul for any electrical service - absolute lifesaver!
