    Bryce provided a very thorough and detailed inspection of our property. He took the time to make sure that we understood everything that was going on , and what we could do to remedy the situation. We came to the conclusion that we would need to install helical piers around my front porch to have it lifted and stabilized, and install steel beams in the basement to provide some more structural support. Adam and his crew (Colin and Tristan) did an excellent job. They arrived early on the start date of the project and got started right away. Adam communicated the progress that they were making throughout the time they worked on the project. They did an excellent job completing the project, and they completed everything in a timely fashion.

    Our house was built in 1931 and I was fairly certain it was sinking. I called Brice at Innovative Basement and told him my entire long theory on what I thought was happening.He was incredibly patient and said that could be happening but quite unlikely, please let me take a look.He drove up to Duluth from Rush City and put my mind at ease when he said, this is super simple, you only need two supports installed.My vision of having to have the house lifted to the tune of 6 figures was put to rest. I had another company take a look and they agreed to assessment but wanted $2000 more for the work. I went with Brice and Innovative.Their crew of Steven W, Codi S and Zane came rolling in and I can say I dont think there is a crew that enjoys their job more, has more fun doing it and is incredibly professional, capable, respectful and put my mind to ease. They know what to do, how to do it and do it right. We had immediate results and Im so grateful for the referral. I highly recommend them! Five stars for all of them all the way!

    We recently bought a house in White Bear Township. We soon discovered that the porch door did not close properly, and that led to the discovery that the whole porch was sinking on its footings! I had David K. from IBA come out and assess the situation. He spent hours digging, measuring, talking to engineers, and researching before he formulated his recommendation. We had a lot of confidence in the work he did. Then when Adam S., Josh W., and Ian S. came out to do the work, they were ready to go. They made sure I understood what was going to happen, and they completed the job in one day. I especially appreciated that they didnt destroy the undocumented garage wiring that was in the area they excavated.I believe they have solved the foundation problem for good.

    We had Innovative Basement Authority (Rush City) install a drainage system, wall bracing, and additional sump pump in our basement after it had previously flooded. From the initial inspection with David to the actual work done by Hunter and Tyler, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All of them took so much time explaining everything to us, why certain things were being done / how they worked, and really made us feel comfortable with a project that we knew nothing about prior. Hunter and Tyler in particular went above and beyond! Additional work was found to be needed once the walls were demoed and they worked tirelessly to fit it into the original two day installation previously planned, even staying until almost 8PM one evening. We couldn’t recommend Innovative Basement Authority and their team more! Thank you for the great quality work.

    I was extremely happy with the work. My garage slab had cracked and dropped over an inch at one end leaving a big gap under the garage door.When they came to survey, they caught 2 other voids under the whole front edge and at tge other corner. This was during the winter. Once the ground warmed up, they arrived on the scheduled day, about an hour early! The whole job only took about 45 min. Brandon and Marc were friendly and professional and piped in exactly enough foam to raise the slab level. I was impressed with their finesse. Nothing wasted, they left my garage clean and looking great.

    Half of our huge log house had sunk 6 inches over the 40 years it had been around. The other half of the house wasnt affected, but the sunk end needed to be lifted in order to square it up so we could proceed with some needed construction. The crew from Innovative Basement Authority was awesome, and they completed that big job in 2 days! Marc, Brandon, and Andrew’s work helped give us reassurance that water would no longer damage our home. Andrew lifted our concrete apron in the driveway and Marc and Brandon filled an unexpected, very large void underneath our basement floor. All three of these men are so easy to work with - they are kind, compassionate, and extremely skilled. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

    We needed work done on our north shore cabin to shore up the foundation which was very uneven. The crew, Isaiah S., Colin G. and Ian S. Installed 10 jacks to get support under the cabin. They also installed 2 lengths of beam and raised one side of our dining room so it is as level as it’s ever been. They did a great job! They were on time, very pleasant and professional.     Adam F. and Aiden N. did a great job installing our Intellibraces. Bryce was great to chat with during our initial estimate and walk through. He kept us up to date and informed about the planning and project. We ran into a snag with the city that Bryce did an excellent job explaining changes we needed to make.Adam and Aiden did a great job installing everything, especially with many curve balls that they got thrown with the nature of our basement and project.     Over time my shop/ garage had developed a long crack running down the length of the structure. The building is 40x64 and unfortunately the floor of the building was no longer level. I was starting to worry about the structural integrity of my beloved man cave.My first experience with Brian (Salesperson) from Innovative went very well and I decided to have them help me.Today Andrew and Ben came out and raised my concrete floor back to level. These guys were prompt, professional, and listened to my concerns. Concrete in Minnesota can be tricky with the change of seasons but I am very hopeful my problem is now solved.     From the very start of my dealings with IBA I was put in contact with Logan Jacovetti. Very nice, professional and extremely committed to our project. Overseeing it from the start. Once the project was underway we had a terrific team of workers. Steven W. Oversaw the project with crew members Ian S. and Tyler D. From top to bottom they showed respect to my wife and I and showed respect for our property. They cleaned up their working areas nice and tidy when they were thru with the project.     Found this company in a Google search for a repair to my concrete steps and stoop. Through the use of foam injection, they were able to repair the steps and also fill some hollow areas under my garage floor. Communication was good throughout the process.     Marc and Brandon came out to finish up the work on my house. Innovative had been out in February for some work and due to the cold weather they had to delay the buried discharge line. Marc and Brandon came out the day before but did not have the right pipe sets to finish up. They returned and did a really good job finishing up. They also fixed some concrete that had been chipping that was installed a year before in a different project without even being asked. Great work, and very happy with the project over all.

    Innovative Basement Solutions installed a drain-tile system in our cabin basement to alleviate a multi-year issue with water coming in during heavy rains and spring thaw. The system had kept our basement dry for the first tome in ten years. After 10 months, a service light indicated a need for a service call. David Kottke provided us with exceptional service and outstanding follow up. We were on vacation when he arrived, so our neighbor stopped over to oversee David’s work. The neighbor commented on how thorough and friendly David was. Before leaving our property, David called us to explain what had been completed and recommend a follow-up program for our system moving forward due to heavy iron and ore contents in our ground water. David was thorough, and showed tremendous initiative, quickly resolving our issue and making sure we had a good plan for service down the road. He is outstanding.

    Marc and Brandon came to my house on time to help do concrete lifting of my front sidewalk that was not even and was a tripping hazard for people. Upon lifting the sidewalk though a part of the sidewalk wouldnt lift so Marc and Brandon fixed it with cement mix to make it even with the rest of the lifted sidewalk.     We have about a 20yr old stamped concrete patio that had sunk over the years making it dangerous to step out and climb back into the house. I contacted Innovative Basement Authority for a quote and John came out and walked the patio, took measurements and got us an awesome quote. We were scheduled several weeks later and Andrew and Ben came out for the job. They called ahead, showed up ahead of time and got to work. Our patio was in bad shape as far as sinking and it took them many hours to correct the issue. You cannot detect the drilled holes as the guys used the concrete dust to cover the ports. The guys cleaned the site and we were back in business. Andrew and Ben experienced an oops and they went above and beyond to correct the issue and to make sure we were good to go. I would highly recommend Innovative Basement Authority for sunken patios, aprons or whatever concrete needs lifting. Very professional, clean and courteous. We are very satisfied customers!

    I hired innovative to fix a bunch of issues with my basement a few years ago. They installed a waterproofing system and drain tile, a heavy-duty dehumidifier, foundation supports, and structural supports. The dehumidifier had an issue this year, so I called up Innovative for my annual service. David came out, during COVID no less, and did maintenance on all of the installed systems. When he came out, the air was too dry to get the dehumidifier to run and produce an error - because the compressor wasnt kicking on. So David replaced the filter and told me to call him if I got the error again. A few weeks later I got the error and let David know. Within a few days of my call David came over and swapped the unit out with a new one. My basement is ready for another MN summer!David was a pleasure to work with. Hes a professional who knows his work, kept in touch with me about appointments and updates, was on-time, easy-going, and thorough and efficient with the work. Hes also a great guy and fun to talk to. I look forward to catching up next year.

    I had some serious issues with my garage and had two services done and both crews exceeded my expectations. Both Lance and his crew mate and Ben and Andrew did outstanding work.My garage floor was bowing in the middle and Ben and Andrew injected foam under the concrete to lift it and did a excellent job. The floor is level now and there’s no more gap between the bottom of the garage door and the floor for critters to get in. Not only that, but they left the garage much cleaner than they found it. Swept it out beautifully and disposed of some things that I hadn’t gotten around to taking to the toxic waste drop. To top it off, Andrew took a look at my front steps and gave me an honest assessment as to whether they could be lifted with foam as well.Lance and his crew mate did a great job as well. They had to dig a trench next to my garage to install supports to prevent my 1933 garage wall from sinking more and doing further damage to the stucco exterior. They also went above and beyond and took out an extra tree stump for me that was right where the garage wall meets my driveway.I would highly recommend Innovative Basement Authority. He was timely and courteous and adhered to COVID protocol from the moment he got ro the yard.     I have been very happy with my drain tile system. I live in a home that has an underground creek beside it. My basement was flooding and moldy all the time. But now, with the wonderful work of this company, I have a dry basement. In addition to the excellent work two years ago, Innovative Basement Authority is very careful about coming out and cleaning and maintaining the equipment every year. This year, David K. came out and replaced the filter and fixed a broken component on the dehumidifier. He also replaced the hose outside. He was early to the appointment, friendly, offered to take his shoes off, and he was thorough! He showed me the parts that needed replacing. He also showed me the new parts.     We had Innovative Basement install drain-tiling and a dehumidifier in our nearly 100 year old cabin last summer. That musty smell that cabins with basements that are not used all year have was bad, and had been for many years. I would say 99% of the smell is gone as a result of the work we had done. We opted for a maintenance contract, and David Kottke came out to do our annual maintenance. He was friendly, neat in appearance, and professional in his behavior. He took photos of each step of the maintenance procedure and showed them to me when he was finished.     I am very impressed by these guys for a myriad of reasons. This is a TLDNR rave about how great these guys are and why.Background/setting: My family and I just bought a new house. The house inspector found our foundation bowing and sheering in our back stairwell (which leads outside). The foundation bowing is not the houses foundation proper, but adjacent. If it finally gives in, all of it would slide into my sons bedroom. We also have a small mold issue caused by water under the subfloor in the laundry room.Adam (Field Inspector) was thorough, patient with our many questions (all of which were answered), professional, and very kind. He even helped us figure out that seepage we have in the basement was NOT coming up from the ground, but from a busted pipe (youll see why that matters in a moment). He went to his trunk, grabbed his personal tools, and pried off the wall panel, to get a look at it, and found the real issue and told us how to fix it! The seepage issue wasnt even why he was there! He was just being a great guy and helping us. Going WAY above an beyond!!! :DThey also dont price gouge! I always get at least 3 estimates with anything this costly. I had another company give me an estimate before this one. They said the seepage was from the ground (without actually looking for/at the source), and that we had all kinds of other issues to fix. The total estimate they gave me was $27k. This is my first house, so Im pretty ignorant to a lot of this, so I trusted that the list of issues . When Adam came through, he said all we needed was to fix the foundation issue in the stairwell, and install a sump pump. Adams estimate was roughly $10k for all of it. Thats a $17k difference!!!We did the foundation and are putting off the sump pump for just a little bit. Cory, Larry, and Eric were great! they were polite, professional, fast, and noninvasive. I feel I should also mention that this was during winter. Even with the snow and cold, it took the guys only about 4 hours beginning to end. We will definitely be calling these guys when were ready for the sump pump. They did a great job, and we all feel safer because of it :)So naturally, I would highly recommend these guys!

    David kootke our technician did a great job in checking everything running ok. Last year crew came to install the drain tile and sump pumps did a great job. Only big complain I have is paying $199 for a yearly check up is very very expensive specially when last year I made the appointment I was told it’s $99. I understand they have change company but just to do a check up for sump pump for 30 mins you end up paying $199 it’s way too much.

    All the crews that have come have been very easy to work with. I had a unique situation and people came 4 times including Chad the Managing supervisor The first 3 guys I really appreciated because they showed me where I had a 2nd problem that the sump pump would not fix. Then Chad and Jared came to take a look and analyze the best solution to fix both problems. The 2nd came to do the first part. But David came and truly finished and fixed both problems. He was very knowledgeable, saw a few other areas that needed to be finished and did all that work also, and was very professional.     Had IBA come out last year for water proofing, they were fast, timely and clean. Josh was the foreman on our job. Just had our 1 year service with David, he was super friendly and professional. Helped us with our one problem area that we were having as well as some other smaller issues. Cleaned out our system as we have really dirty ground water with lots of sediment build up. Definitely recommend IBA for your basement waterproofing needs!
