    I hired Skylur and his team to renovate the outside of my 1940s bungalow. He replaced rotted wood, built and screen porch, replaced my front door and repainted the whole house. It turned out better than I could have imagined. It was finished exactly when he predicted (so rare) and on budget. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly and Skylur checked in daily to be sure the work was finished to my specifications and his own high standards. I have done a lot of work on various homes and this might be my favorite reno experience. I highly recommend Skylur and his team.

    Ive owned my home in Austin for 15 years. Ive seen every type of contractor you can imagine. Im proud to say that I have FINALLY found the best one yet: Sky-Lan. Im calling them for everything that I need from here on out.Skylur came recommended to me by an electrician I trust. I had just finished paying another contractor 50% of the job when he flat-out disappeared on me and left me with a half-demod hall and bath (yep, tale as old as time). Skylur was extremely sympathetic to my situation and came over immediately! He looked at the current gutted bathroom and provided a quote within a couple of days. The quote was extremely fair for such a large amount of detailed work. His quote was less than ABC who wanted more money for far less work (ABC was just going to do patch jobs...but Skylur removed and replaced all drywall so it was perfectly seamless and brand new!)Skylur is patient, professional, and knows exactly what hes talking about and how to best solve a problem. He answers every single call or text right away. The communication is outstanding; fast, clear and always yes, can do! which is huge for me. He doesnt push back or say well...thatll cost more. He just happily gets it done for the price he quoted and sticks by his word.For this project, I needed pocket door installation, major drywall repair, new baseboards, new trim, prime/painting, vanity installation, electric work. It was a very detailed and technical job (and I am admittedly pretty OCD when it comes to my house projects). Skylur made some smart suggestions that would not only get the job done, but look 1000% times better--aka: brand new. Our old hallway and bathroom were dark, crusty (bad caulk jobs over the years) with layers and layers of terrible texture and paint. Look at the photos and youll see what a difference Sky-Lan made. Our new hallway and bath are bright, clean and about as perfect as I could ask for. Our kids finally have a bathroom thats bright and fun.There was a team of two who worked every day from 8:30am until past 6pm until the job was done. They protected the floor, covered all the walls and worked quickly and quietly. Every evening, Skylur would personally come over to inspect the work and make a plan for the next day. If I had any questions or concerns, Skylur was there to address them. We would walk through the progress for the day and I could just point to things I was thinking about. His answer to every question was Yep, we can do that or Yes, well get that taken care of. Every night, the team swept, cleaned up all tools and materials, and removed the old plastic from the walls. Then the next day, they set up new plastic and got right to work, minimizing dust. Drywall/demo can be messy, but they were the neatest, most respectful crew Ive seen yet.I even had a few huge ceiling cracks with some water damage in a nearby living room. While they had the materials, Skylurs team fixed those cracks and painted the repaired part of the ceiling and wall at no extra charge.Learn from me: dont hire the guy with a truck to save some money (that guy will take the money and run). And dont hire the big ABC guys off the internet who just want to charge the most money for the least work. Hire Sky-Lan for the personal service and attention to every detail on your job. His crew is talented and put a lot of time and effort into the job. The craftsmanship is top-notch. And as we all know, no job is perfect. So if theres something you see that you want done just a little differently, his team will do it with no questions asked. Skylur does not charge you until you say the job is done. No other contractor does that. Hes truly one of the greats, and Im glad I found him. Just wish I knew about him 15 years ago!Skylur and Sky-Lan are my new go-to contractors. Hire them, get the job done quickly and beautifully for a price youre comfortable with--then move on to the next project with Sky-Lan!

    Skylan Construction did a phenomenal job of a fairly complex renovation for my home. The renovation required creativity, to open up our floor plan, which they accomplished while improving the flow of our home, making it unique. Throughout the process, the communication was on point, they stayed within budget, and they helped us navigate options to maximize our funds, and the end result was everything we imagined. We have lived in the renovated home for over a year and a half now, and are still thoroughly impressed and enjoying our new home.

    I hired Sky-Lan in 2021 for an extensive remodel of my home in Round Rock (full kitchen, all flooring, electrical, principal bathroom and plumbing) I couldn’t be happier with the results! I interviewed several contractors, but only Sky-Lan was able to give me a detailed bid (excluding cost of materials) prior to signing a contract. Jammie was thorough and offered great design advice and really listened to my vision and expectations. Her expertise was invaluable and she and I met several times before any work started. They started and finished on time and any hiccups were addressed with professionalism. Skylar and his team were top notch and as a realtor, I have recommended them to all my clients and friends. Do not hesitate to hire them!

Skylar and Jammie Landry form a great Team that puts quality and customer service as their #1 priority. They both pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure the job and their crew are performing as required by your contract. They are all experienced professionals who truly take pride in every aspect of their job. Jammie does an outstanding job of ensuring that all design aspects, such as, cabinets, colors, styles, backsplash, etc. of the project are thoroughly reviewed with you. She is available throughout every aspect of the job. Skylar is onsite working right along with his crew providing the necessary oversight and review of each construction aspect of the job. It is without hesitation that I would highly recommend Sky-Lan Construction Services for your next major construction project!

    I hired Skylur and Jammie after interviewing 2 other contractors and I was very refreshed with their honesty and confidence. We had a major remodel, had to move out for a year while they re-did a 1950s cottage house. I was so impressed with their communication and the professionalism along the way. I got along very well with Jammie who helped me pick out tile, stone, cabinets and flooring. It was a stressful time with two kids but they made it as easy as it could be. Of course there are little hiccups along the way but that is the nature of the business. They were always honest and showed up when they said they would. I am happy with our new home now and thank you SKY-LAN Services.

    Our home experienced significant damage from the recent hailstorm and Skylan Services was our GC for all of the repairs with the exception of our roof. From our first meeting until the job was completed, Skylur was fantastic! He communicated status throughout, set realistic expectations for completion, and met every goal that was set and did all of that while staying on budget. My wife and I are very grateful to Skylur for making what was a trying time much easier. I highly recommend Skylur and his team for any work you need done inside or outside of your home. We will definitely use them again in the future.

    I met Skyler at my work, saw his cap and asked for an estimate. He did incredible work on back porch, chimney trim and skirting around a shed. Everything is outstanding!

    SKY-LAN completed a partial kitchen remodel for us that had multiple moving parts: partial replacement of counters, new sink and plumbing, fix drywall, new tile backsplash, and new kitchen window. They got the job done with clear communication and obvious expertise. We love our kitchen now! They hire good people, oversee the work, and offer awesome ideas (replacing the window sill with quartz to match the counters - yes!). Jammie has an amazing eye for detail and she is a force to be reckoned with - we had an issue with the counters and she was at the house in half an hour to make sure things were done right. Skylur is a great guy, with many skills and integrity. Next we plan to remodel our pantry and bathrooms and we are going to hire them again because we know we will enjoy the process and they will provide good service and beautiful remodels. We feel very fortunate to have found SKY-LAN after working with another contractor who thought our job was too small / too complicated. Jammie and Skylur got it done!

    I hired Skylur Landry, owner of SKY-LAN SERVICES, to repair Hardi siding, trim three windows with Hardi -and to paint the exterior of our home in two colors.I took three other bids - but I knew when I met Skylur hed be the one to trust. I knew hed do an excellent job. I could tell that he took pride in his work.He listened. He cared. He provided a detailed schedule before the work began.When the work commenced, his crew showed up on time each day, they all did excellent work, and they cleaned up completely every day.Skylur came out to do the final inspection on a Good Friday.He and his crew touched up a few spots as we walked around the house at the end of the day.Being a holiday weekend, I wanted to pay my balance so Skylur and his crew could get home to their families.A week later, I noticed an area of paint on the siding which looked dull.     Jammie and Skylur are professional, reliable, and honest. I had a hard time finding a contractor because so many we were looking at either had fake reviews on Google or horrible reviews on the BBB website and we didnt want to just use any Joe shmo and regret it after getting mediocre work. I was unsure of what to do until Jammie contacted me about an estimate request I made. She knows the ins and outs of construction and remodeling and we felt at ease as soon as we met her. After we met with Jammie, we looked at their Facebook page to see what sort of work they do and that helped us see that theyre the real deal. We used their services for one flooring project last summer and are using their service again for a master bath and closet remodel this summer. They truly go above and beyond for their clients. We are so very glad to have found a reliable contractor that does honest work.

    Thay are awesome thay did my floors in subfloor’s in 2 days and fixed a few other issues we had with are condo. Thay also did all are doors in are condo. We are really happy with all the work thay have done for us I can’t recommend them enough. There fast courteous, and do exactly what they say. They’re going to do and what you asked for above and beyond.
