For this review, I give Mr. Rooter (specifically Joe Ventimiglia and his team – Mitch and John) 5 stars for the QUALITY OF WORK that they did for us. It was excellent/outstanding.Note: Unfortunately, at the same time I would give only 2 stars for the quality of communication and for the scheduling process for our project. The scheduling was not consistent and often left us wondering if/when they would show up. And it did not measure up to match the quality of workmanship which was excellent.During his visit for the estimate, Joe was prompt, respectful, knowledgeable, asked questions, engaged with us and the design materials (drawings and descriptions) that we had prepared, was willing to enter the crawl space to assess the plumbing situation (a disaster left over from a previous plumber who could not finish the work) and listened to us. He let us know that he would work on getting us a written estimate as soon as possible. Within a day or so, Joe was able to send us an estimate. That was amazing in and of itself (most plumbers take 3-5 days to generate an estimate and some never follow up at all). After reviewing the estimate, we decided to go with Joe and his team (Mr. Rooter).Within the same week, Joe and his team (Mitch and John) removed all of the faulty, partially installed mess of plumbing work that the previous plumber had “installed” for us. Joe and his team also brought all of the supplies to stage them for the next week’s work.Before I share more of the job, let me just say that Joe and his team (Mitch and John) were professional, respectful and documented their work. Mitch was extremely personable, very respectful and conducted himself with dignity and excellence on the job. John was polite and answered questions when asked. Both Mitch and John added to the already high level of skillful excellence that Joe brought to the job.The following week, Joe and his team worked on replacing all of the drains and supply lines under our home (in our crawl space) as well as roughing in all of the connections, drains and dry vents in our bathroom space (going from 1.5 baths to 2 baths in a complete gut with dry vents that had to be reconnected and tied into the whole system). Their work set the stage for the construction team that was doing our remodel.Seeing Joes (and Mitch and John) finished work has been amazing. The work is clean, precise, completed according to code, and has corrected all of the errors and sloppiness of the previous plumber’s work. Joe/Mitch/Johns work is also going to allow us to prevent leaks in the future. At the start of this project, I said I wanted “pretty pipes” (meaning clean, well done, leak-proof, neat, organized, code-worthy, and otherwise excellently installed) and that is what we now have.The only area that was not as excellent was the poor communication around scheduling. Often, we were told that Joe, or Joe and his team, would be at our house on a certain day or at a certain time and we often did not hear from anyone until late in the day/the end of the day when Joe would let us know that the schedule had shifted or that he would need to reschedule for the next day or the following day. Of course, we can understand and give grace when that happens once but when it becomes a pattern, it feels disrespectful. It happened several times and we tried to just be flexible. However, after the 3rd time, we ended up speaking to a supervisor about the situation. Thankfully, Mr. Rooter’s supervisor was helpful and swift in resolving our concerns and the job was completed with the same skill and excellence that Joe and his team demonstrated throughout the job.Overall, we are very glad that we worked with Joe, Mitch and John and we are grateful for their excellent skill and the high quality of their finished work. We are so thankful for the completed bathroom plumbing for our 2-bathroom remodel project.

We recently had a septic tank issue and contacted Mr. Rooter to come diagnose the problem. The plumber (Jeremy) arrived in a timely fashion and was fully prepared to do any work within his capabilities. He quickly identified the problem and recommended a septic tank expert (Chris with Septic Blue - another stellar individual). Jeremy also did an inspection of our inside plumbing and found another issue that he repaired on the spot. We are glad we used Mr. Rooter would readily contact them again for any needed plumbing repairs and recommend them very highly to anyone.As fate would have it, we had another needed repair with our inside plumbing, unrelated to the above issue. Based on our recent experience with Mr. Rooter, we readily called them again. Alex showed up on time and ready to work. He went right to source and had the problem repaired quickly and correctly. Alex was equal parts knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, tidy and had a terrific personality. We actually enjoyed having him in our home. We are now 2 for 2 great experiences with Mr. Rooter!

I had a shower that wouldnt shut off on Christmas day. Mr. Rooter actually contacted me on Christmas day and scheduled a repair first thing on the 26th. They also diagnosed that I needed a new water heater and were able to install it on the same day. The plumber that came out was extremely fast and very friendly. I would highly recommend this company. They really got me out of a bind.

It was a great experience but this plumber and most others do not have leak detection equipment. So now I have to wait and pray i hear the phone call from Restoration Medics. I appreciate the plumber for installed a new stronger water regulator and thermal expansion bulb. Tomorrow I am going to the library to print my receipt.

Jason came out to check for leaks when my water bill was very high. He was prompt and very courteous. He was very thorough, checking everything both in and out of the house. Although we didn’t find a smoking gun for the leak, there were several things that may have contributed such as leaking toilet valves and a faulty pressure regulator. He gave me several suggestions based on what we found. He left me with quotes and didn’t pressure me to make a quick decision.

Daniel Relf is by far the most amazing Plummer! Mr. Relf came out, late on a Sunday to help with what we thought was a mainline back up. From the first call not only was he kind, but very informative. He listened and asked questions to understand what was going on in the home and educated us throughout the process. He wasnt able to clear the line and a day later he told us why. Daniel discovered that we were on a septic tank! I was SHOCKED because when we bought the house everything showed that we were on city sewer but NOPE, septic tank. We have had multiple plummers out over the last year and every one of them told us they think we had root intrusion and tried to push pricey services on us. Daniel was not like that. As soon as he discovered the septic tank he informed us and educated us on next steps. Thank you Daniel! I’ll be referring you to anyone who needs a good plummer!

Great response time. Very courteous. Very helpful. I wanted to be of assistance so I offered several times. At the end he told me to put the shower knob together after the leak was repaired and to screw on the back plate to the wall. I assume he was guiding me as I screwed it back on so I didnt overtighten it that caused the original problem. I am not certain I put the knob back together correctly though. I would recommend them.

Daniel Relf being the first person I met from the company showed up with a professional attitude and also showed empathy and sympathy to what I was going through he knew that previous companies had came and never talked down those companies but demonstrated why Mr. Rooter was better. He did not pester me for the sale but did ask me to call him if I had questions and when I called he answered those question. Jeremy Hathaway is the man, or as my wife calls him, “a Christmas Miracle”. Our outdoor tankless water heater froze when the temps got below 20. It was Christmas Eve and everyone we called was either all booked, or closed for the holidays. Mr. Rooter Plumbing sent Jeremy who hit several hardware stores to find the equipment we would need to give us the best chance to slowly thaw our frozen pipes without causing them to burst. He wrapped a pipe warmer (my description) next to the pipes, then winterized the pipes to keep the cold air out. Less than 3 hours later, and we had hot water again!! Can’t say enough about Jeremy’s responsiveness, professionalism and quality work. Thank you Jeremy Hathaway and Mr. Rooter Plumbing!

Ryan was very professional and did a great job of unclogging the pipes. He was the second plumber of the day. The first guy didnt unclog the drain and then proceeded to say it would take $8,000 to fix the clog. Insane. I called Mr. Rooter and had the fortunate opportunity to meet Ryan, who, instead of trying to make a big sale, took his time and unclogged the line in less than 10 minutes. He showed me what was going on and even showed me what was going to be needed in the future. This is why Ill always use them. Money aside, just being honest to hardworking people is what mattered. Ill never use or refer the other plumbing company to ANYONE, but Ill definitely refer Mr. Rooter to EVERYONE.

I had a new tankless water heater installed high enough on the wall that I can go under it to reach my washing machine. I also had a Halo whole house filter installed that will be up and running on Monday. I had an ultrafiltration water filter installed under my sink. I’m very satisfied with the work and price. Anyway, they were able to schedule me an appointment within a day or two, and the agent fixed and installed a new in sinkaerator that I’m really happy with. The agent, Andrew Fitch, was really knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. I decided to replace the entire toilet, and the one I got, which was from their own warehouse, has been absolutely amazing. It’s one of those rapid flush and fill up toilets, and he brought it and installed it a few days after that initial appointment. Amazing service, and I plan to use them again for any plumbing issues.

One of my rental homes was experiencing a main blockage. Mr Rooter was quick yo respond , diagnosed the problem and solved the issue. The tech John Debose was very profession, arrived on time and explained everything that needed to be done.

UPDATE to the review below. It turns out it is the same company. After several calls they sent out the technician we had several years before (Jim). Jim was excellent. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was 100% professional and courteous. We will call them again, but we’ll be asking for Jim in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW. Yes. Very unhappy. We had a 3-way tub handle. On the left was hot, center was the diverter and on the right was the cold. The handle for the cold was not turning off properly. The Mr. Rooter technician said the inner components of the cold faucet needed rebuilding but said it was Company policy that they would not rebuild one faucet (for us- cold) unless they also rebuilt the other one (for us- hot WHICH WAS NOT BROKEN). The charge was $495. So while the cold faucet is fine, after one (1) day the hot water faucet, which was functioning fine before, is now not working after he rebuilt it. We called on a Friday morning (discovering the problem Thursday night) and now they want us to wait until Tuesday for someone to come out. Frankly, I think this is not only a bait and switch but lousy customer service. We are not happy and I would be very skeptical to call this company again. Here is the problem, Mr. Rooter seems to be a referral service. Years ago we had major work done by a Mr. Rooter plumbing affiliated company and they were FABULOUS. That is why we called again. This time some other affiliated company came. Very unhappy as noted above.

I never leave reviews online, but the service I received from Steve was nothing short of impeccable. I called Mr. Rooter regarding a leaking pipe at 930p and Steve talked with me for over an hour. He was extremely knowledgeable and really wanted to help us make the best decision. Even though he was on call until 12a that night, and even though he lived an hour away, he committed to arriving at my house by 9a the following morning. Knowing we needed to get to work as soon as possible, he even arrived early. This was a major plumbing repair but Steve made every step of the process as easy as possible for us. The entire experience was so good that I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but Steve delivered on everything exactly like he said he would. You just don’t see that kind of over the top service with businesses these days. Kudos to Steve and kudos the Mr. Rooter!

I contacted Mr. Rooter due to a slow leak from a valve in the utility room. I thought the leak was due to a loose bolt and tighten it, but the leak continued. Since the leak was slow, I contemplated putting it off. To my better judgment, I googled plumbing companies and read the reviews.I contacted Mr. Rooter and they were prepared to send a technician out the following day. Although there is a $39.95 booking fee, I was informed it is in place to keep costs down.Shaunti Hewlett was my technician and explained that my water pressure valve needed to be replaced. He also checked my water heater and determined it was not impacted. I am extremely happy with the end result.The reasonable price, level of customer service and expertise is the reason I highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

I had a major electrical issue at my house and needed an assessment ASAP. I called at 8:00am and Mr. Electric sent Jeremy Sexton in a timely manner. He was here by 11:30 am and quickly reviewed the issue. After explaining the problems and assuring me that my house would not burn down, he began the repairs. He worked for hours and had the issue repaired and my nerves at ease before midnight. He worked all day with one break to grab a bite to eat. I am super satisfied with the service and my electrical system is working again. I will recommend Mr. Electric to family and friends. Thanks Jeremy!

John Dubose of Mr. Rooter came out for an estimate and was thorough and on time. We booked service to begin the next day (Saturday) at 8am. On Saturday I was expecting him to call me and reschedule for Monday because it was pouring rain, which would have meant I would have been without water for 3 days. At 8am sharp he rang my doorbell and had already set up his tent to work in the rain. He had to remove my shrubs to replace the damaged pipe. I appreciate his patience with all my questions and concerns and his professionalism. I would definitely recommend him to others.

We had sewer water running in our yard so we called Mr. Rooter to check it out. Jay Akers was our service person, He assess the issue and told us that the line needed to be flushed and to see what was clogging the line. He was up front about the possible cost depending on what they found. After flushing the line and running a camera through the line, he found that there were roots in the line. But he said since the spot where the clog was in the right-of-way. He called Cobb Water for us and got them to come out to check out the situation. Come to find out the clog was on the county side which ultimately saved us $15,000 in repairs.Its hard to find honest people and companies these days but today was one of those day!Thanks Jay and Mr. Rooter.Kevin
