    Great service. On time. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend using this company. Didnt try to inflate costs to earn business. Up front about hourly cost and dispatch fees. Willing to provided estimate based on my needs instead of trying to get the job and offer a fake deal like I dealt with previously. Dont be turn away by leaving a message. They did call and quickly scheduled a time to come out the next day.

    Approximately 6 months ago I had Mcnew Electric wire a new barn. One of the lights went out last week, so I called on Thursday or Friday. By Monday noon they were here and had the light replaced.Jacob was very polite and professional and answered my many questions.Jacob further checked out the other lighting to insure everything was fine.Nick and his crews have always been great with us.We will call Mcnew for any of our electrical needs.

    McNew electrical is great! They scheduled me in quickly and showed up on time. Chris kept me in the loop on estimated time of arrival and got right to work. He fixed the issue in a timely manner and kept me up to speed on what he was doing. The cost is very reasonable! $35 to dispatch the electrician and $90 for 1.5 hours of work. I am very pleased. I will recommend and continue to use their services.

    Wow these guys are unbelievableI talked to Nick on phone last week and he had his guys Jacob and Alokes out here on Monday. We live in rural area!They called 1 hr before leaving RollaAnd when got close by. These young men were able to install the 220 including digging ditch installing equipment hooking everything up to our hot tub from Aqua Living. They were able to get it lifted safely and remove the wood props below also. Wow they did all this with military precision. What an outstanding professional job they did. I highly recommend McNew electric for any of y’all’s electrical needs they are very professional reliable and absolutely reasonable and a company that believes in God and is faith based! What a great company. Thank y’all and special thanks to Nick for accommodating us in our time of need! God bless y’all and we will definitely use y’all again.

    Two guys who came out were great. Nice to me, my mom, and my 2 cats (one of which was a but in their buisness haha).I had a lot of little things (small breaker box adjustment, 40 ish outlets and switches to replace, 4 lights to replace). They came in and got everything done in one day and used the materials i had already purchased. Ultimately it was a tad pricier than expected. But they did in a day what would have taken me months doing one outlet an evening after work. Was so nice to just get it all done.

    I genuinely wish there was 1000 stars that I could give for Mcnew Electric. I have had BAD electrical issues for the past week and Noell assured me they would get back with me when they were open again(it was over the holidays) and she held to her word. Jacob and Sean were the electricians that were sent out and they were beyond amazing. They answered every question I had, walked me through each process, diagnosed and fixed the problems we were having. They were so patient and so kind, went above and beyond for me and my family. I will be recommending Mcnew to anyone I know and already have future plans to have them back.     MCNew Electric installed several light fixtures, ceiling fan and fixed wiring issues. They did quality work, explained what needed to be done and the cost involved.     We had bought a new hot tub and needed an electrician to be here when they delivered it to hook it up. I had called several electricians in the Salem area but no one returned our calls so I googled electricians and found McNew Electric. I called and told the person I needed an electrician on a certain day but did not know the exact time but had a 2 hour window it would be. She said they were booked for that day but she would check and see if they could work something out to get someone here and she would call me back. She let me know ahead of time she would be calling from a different number which I appreciated because I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. She called me back in a just a few minutes and told me they would have someone who would it. I just needed to call them as soon as I knew the exact time. I received a call the day before to verify if they needed to bring any materials to do the job as Salem does not always have what they may need and he wanted to make sure he had everything. I appreciated that extra step. The delivery person did not let us know they were near until 35 minutes before they arrived at our home. I called them to let McNew know and true to his word a person was here. Kyle was awesome. He hooked it up and when the spa was having issues, he talked with the spa techs on the phone making sure everything was hooked up correctly. He let us know he would come back if we needed him. He was professional and very polite. It was refreshing to have great service even when our situation was a bit challenging. We will definitely use them for all of our future electrical needs.

    I recommended McNew Electric to come in and do some electrical prep work for an existing home that we were drilling a new water well for. We needed some wires ran from the existing breaker panel to a utility room and back to an access point for our well technicians to tie into. The floor plan on this home created multiple challenges for this task. McNews service tech called me to verify all details of what we needed while he was onsite and then improved on the plan, making it even easier than I had imagined it could be for our guys to do their work. McNews work was very clean and very professional. I couldnt be happier with the outcome. We will be recommending them any time we get the chance.

    We were highly satisfied with the work that Kyle with McNew Electric completed at our home. We had three repair/replace projects. The minor one was to check a smoke detector that beeped incessantly. The next was to replace a bathroom combination light and fan. The third was to figure out and repair/replace whatever caused outdoor dusk to dawn lights to quit working. Kyle took care of the minor projects and then was thorough in getting to the root of the outdoor lights problem. Each project was fixed in a professional manner. Kyle was respectful and cheerful throughout his work.When we have need of an electrician in the future, we will trust McNew again.

    I called Mcnew Electric to install a generator transfer switch. This was a bit of a challenge due to my well electric being underground, while my home electric was overhead. After a couple discussions by phone, they knew exactly what needed to be done, and even gave me a couple of options with estimates. I scheduled the install and really liked the fact there was great communication from Mcnew Electric. I knew what was going to happen and when it was going to happen and was always kept in the loop. My electrician was friendly and knowledgeable and did a very professional installation of the transfer switch. The challenge of the well and overhead electric was no problem for him, and he worked quickly and did a great job. He explained the steps to hook up and use the generator to the transfer and did a test run to ensure everything was working properly. Cant ask for more than that, and I would definitely use Mcnew Electric again for any electrical needs.

    I called multiple electricians around Rolla to certify and inspect my fully self-installed grid tie solar system. Of the handful I called, most never answered the phone or returned calls. However, the office of McNew picked up right away, quickly scheduled an appointment, and Nick Meyers showed up a few days precisely on time. Though I had already installed the majority of my system, Nick thoroughly reviewed all phases of my work, provided me with tips and suggestions for improvements when needed, and also presented a few teachable moments with hand-drawn diagrams to highlight why things are done a certain way or how I should proceed with a trickier component. He took home reading material to verify safety of components, and a few days later, when the system was fully complete, Nick returned promptly to follow up with the final inspection. Overall, I am happy to have worked with Nick from McNew Electric because he was prompt, affordable, and I never felt like my job wasnt important enough to him....he was also around 1/4th the cost for the same work a local solar company quoted. Nick is an honest guy guided by his strong beliefs, and though they may differ from ours, it didnt effect his work for us.
