    Mathew was very knowledgeable and forward thinking. He addressed my needs and pointed out future plumbing projects and options without the pressure you can potentially get from some services. He leveled with me and the pricing was reasonable for the scope of the work and time required to complete. I had leak outside the hose connection that needed replacement of all parts. He added a lever closer to a walk space (for both the refrigerator hookup and the water line for my hoses) making it 100xs more reachable and safe. I would use them again!

    I called Emerald City Plumb. & HTG., & Matthew came to our home and repaired the plumbing issue with our bathroom.He then asked us if we had any other issues that he could fix for us.We had him repair the plumbing issue with another bathroom that we were putting up with, & he repaired that too.We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Emerald City for any plumbing or heating issues, and we will call Matt again if we have an issue that we can’t fix.

    I had a bunch of people come in to give us a quote for the plumbing work on a bathroom remodel. Matt was the only one who took the time to look at the rest of our system and make recommendations as to other work we should have done while the walls were open. Considering the care he took, in addition to his reasonable price quote, I hired him to do the original job as well as make the repairs/upgrades. I fully expect that, even though the repairs were not originally in our budget, Matt saved us a LOT of money in the long run by suggesting we do the repairs before it was too late. Communication was consistent and clear along the way, and Matt answered any questions that came up. It’s a great feeling to have a plumber that I can call that is trustworthy and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

    I got in touch with Emerald City Plumbing when I was not happy with how long my hot water heater was taking to heat up the water. Matthew was very honest and let me know that my heater was in good condition and that there were options to improve the speed of the hot water and/or replace my unit with a newer one but that my heater was working properly. I sincerely appreciate that he wasnt pushy or trying to get one over on me. Ill definitely be calling them again when I need a plumber.

    I didn’t have a plumber before, but I certainly do now!I wasn’t yet looking but ran into Matt while out for a run and within an hour had an estimate to relocate my kitchen sink and gas line. The work was completed a few weeks later and to accommodate a special request Matt also squeezed in an unscheduled secondary visit for me.While price is important it’s not the only factor, the estimate provided looked very reasonable, so I didn’t see a need to seek a comparative price.     Im so glad we found Matt and Emerald City Plumbing and Heating. After receiving a ridiculous estimate from another company to repair our tankless hot water heater, I called Emerald City after 5 pm on a Tuesday, desperate for some hot water. Matt came the very following day and fixed our problem. He was professional, efficient, and tried to save us money by calling customer service as he serviced our heater to see if any of the parts were still on warrantee. We were pleasantly surprised at the price he charged; it was surprisingly reasonable. Matt even took the time afterwards to provide advice and estimates on options we could consider in the future. He did not take advantage of our desperation to get hot water. It can be hard to find a company that is capable, honest and reasonable. This company has it all, and is now on my speed dial!

    Called Matt on a Tuesday night and he was here Wednesday morning.     Matt ran natural gas line out from my house, under my deck, to a fire table. He did incredible quality work and kept up excellent communication to find out exactly where I wanted everything to be. Super knowledgeable, he talked through what size piping would work, and he checked to see what my meter was rated for and added up all my previous gas appliances to make sure everything would work out together, and all as part of just the quote. He was more expensive than other quotes I got, but was willing to put in the extra work where other plumbers wanted to cut corners to make it without a doubt worth it. Will definitely contact Matt again for any natural gas work.
