    Ive worked with Dave Palmasano twice and would recommend him to anyone. First, a few years ago he replaced the 100 year old, leaking, iron soil pipe in my home with a properly-sloped PVC installation which has been working flawlessly since. The job was finished in a day and the price was good. More recently, Dave helped connect me with a drain cleaning company, who was able to respond same day to help fix the problem (line between the house and the street had a bad clog.) He even stopped by to help with the diagnosis of the clog location after the cleanout company ran into trouble.

    Dave is such a dedicated plumber! We have called him many times over the years and he is quick to respond and quick to solve the problem. We have used him for changing our bathroom toilets, sinks and faucets. He also has replaced our water heater and most recently fixed our heat, which wasn’t working throughout the house. He explains the problem and explains how he will resolve it. He is extremely well priced! You genuinely need to look no further than Palmasano Plumbing!

    We had to replace 3 old, out of code Stem Gate water valves with 3 Brass Port Ball Lever Valves as 2 of them leaked when opened. The problem was my Condo Association was unable to locate my underground street shutoff. Dave and his technician were able to utilize a CO2 Pipe Freeze device to replace the valves. Dave uses quality materials, safe procedures, professional, arrived on promised time, and neat cleanup. Very pleased with results. Excellent service. First time I used him. Will not be the last.     PALMASANO Plumbing was a lifesaver. Came home to a leaky pipe and water all over basement floor. We didn’t have a plumber so I searched Google and found PALMASANO. Not only did Dave answer his phone right away but, after I explained the problem, was at my home within 30 minutes. Fixed the problem explaining everything along the way. Very happy with his services and highly recommend. Will be using him again in the very near future.

    I had reached out to Dave because I had scheduled a washer/dryer tower delivery and installation from Home Depot. The delivery people/installers showed up, told me they couldnt do the install, to call and ask for my money for the install back, and left me with this unit with no way to hook it up and no way to return it. I reached out to Dave to see if he could install it not even knowing if this was something he did. He showed up the following day, on time, wore a mask as I requested and as promised and took a look to see what the issues were. Turns out the hook-up would not work with the unit I purchased. He said he could try to make it work, but the likelihood I would have problems down the road was probable, and to retrofit the unit for the space it had been allocated would have meant some construction would need to be done. He was very honest and advised that I see what I could do to return the unit since it really wasnt worth moving forward with an install of something that had a high likelihood of not being successful or costing me additional money for construction to make it work. I applauded him because as a woman on her own, I think a lot of providers could have told me whatever, and with my little to no knowledge of plumbing, I am at their mercy. It could have cost me thousands of dollars, and still had a poor outcome. Instead he was honest with me and ended up doing no work and not even charging me for the assessment. I was exceptionally grateful that there was such an honest provider out there. I would refer Dave to anyone. . .He totally has my respect!

    Dave is absolutely awesome! I had a kitchen faucet leak and being a new home owner I havent had much experience in doing repairs myself. I found Dave via Google and HomeAdvisor, both of which he was highly recommended. Its clearly evident why. When I called Dave, he was open and honest about his schedule with me and was thankfully able to fit me in between existing appointments the same day. Within a matter of minutes he had the leak fixed. Not only did he repair it but explained to me exactly what was wrong and walked me step by step through the process and taught me in-case it happened again. Not many people will go out of there way to do that. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and skillful and I highly recommend him. I will be using him for all of my plumbing needs going forward.     My wife and I just moved into our new home, so of course the 6-year old water heater (which of course only had a 6-year warranty) decided that was the perfect time to spring a leak! And on a Sunday morning no less! We already had an appointment with another plumber to check on a filtration unit for Monday morning, so we figured wed buy the hot water heater ourselves and have them install it. Unfortunately, they were too busy to do it, but we didnt discover that until 9:15am Monday.I found Palmasano Plumbing on Angies list, and gave Dave a call at 9:30am Monday morning. He and his team showed up at 11:15am (exactly when he said he would), and we had hot water by 2pm. Dave and his team are friendly, polite, quick and thorough. His pricing was very reasonable - he even gave us a break since we had already purchased the unit and moved it to the basement ourselves.Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and didnt mind answering a myriad of questions we had as new home owners - everything from proper septic care to water-saving techniques to living in a lake community.Being new home owners and new to the Ringwood area, we didnt have any experience with local service providers, and didnt know what wed be getting. Unlike a large well known plumbing company in East Hanover who overcharged in the past for a small job in the bathroom which Dave had to repair The same East Hanover company also pressured me to perform unnecessary repair in the kitchen (which included knocking out a wall to repair something that wasnt in need of repair) which Dave repaired with ease. Dave and his worker came by (only one of five plumbers I called able to come out on a Saturday) and figured out it wasnt a leak under my front lawn which would have cost thousands to correct...it was the town water regulator at street level. Big job due to the housing being fully corroded needing replacement, but town property so they foot the bill. Palmasano Plumbings bill: No charge. Happy we could help find it was the town that needs to do the repair.

    I have Norbitz tankless water heater and it stopped working while under warranty. I called other plumbers and asked if they are formiliar with the brand Norbitz and they said yes knowing they were charging a fee just to walk into my house. Unfortunately they lied and I had to pay the bill. Norbits sent the parts that needed to be replaced and suggested I go to their authorized directory and I found David from Palmasano Plumbing. After several attempts to changeout parts because that is the process with Norbitz, David knows however to deal with the company, knows what he is doing, is extremely patient, he is extremely experienced and honest.     40 years in an all-electric house, and I couldnt take the discomfort and outrageous bills any longer. Gas line came up the street years ago, and my dream was to connect and redo my 2 story house: boiler, HW heater, piping and new baseboards throughout. 3 plumbers were recommended by friends. After weeks of no-shows, no calls returned and excuses, I turned to Google and other sites. Palmasano Plumbing stood out with all its Excellent reviews. I called one day at lunchtime and by dinnertime, Dave Palmasano was at my house.I have no basement and always thought a heat system would have to go in my garage. Dave said he could fit a 95% efficient combination boiler in my hallway closet. Not knowing anything about these units, I was skeptical at first. But over a few phone calls, Dave patiently explained how they worked. His high level of expertise was obvious with each call. I was sold, and Dave was hired.I was worried PSE&G would charge a hefty fee to connect to my house, which was far from the street. Dave told me exactly how to fill out their BTU application in such a way as to minimize the chance of this-and guess what? No fee.This was a big job, but Dave and his crew made it look easy. All work was done neatly, in a timely manner and on budget. Communicating with Dave was never a problem either. He picked up all the permits and was on-site for all inspections. He even filed my NJ energy rebate application and in April, Ill get a Federal energy tax credit.Now, Im enjoying comfortable, even heat throughout my house and unlimited, on-demand hot water. I expect to cut my utility bills in half-maybe more. Daves motto is If my customers are happy, then Im happy.
