    Rob has wonderfully completed 4 jobs at my home over the years. The first 3 jobs were completed by Rob only. Yesterday, he and his apprentice Niell repaired a lamp post and fixed some outdoor electrical issues and enabled me to turn on the lamp posts from inside the house. I always trust that Rob will complete the job to perfection. Both men are so easy to have working in your home. They work diligently (no cell phone interruptions), are extremely polite, honest, clean up well and can be trusted doing quality work safely in your home. I highly recommend Bright Ideas Electric!!

    Why should you choose Bright Ideas? Because Rob is an extremely honest and knowledgeable electrician and an excellent problem solver. My house is about 115 years old and maddeningly quirky, but nothing phases Rob, he’s seen it all. He works quickly and efficiently and the results are always superb. I appreciate the fact he offers suggestions and multiple approaches to problems. Also, Rob and his crew are super polite, patiently answer all of my questions, and are fastidious about cleaning up. Highly recommended.

    A tree fell and took out my power line to the street and damaged the casing protecting the line attached to my house from water. The electric company couldnt reconnect the line until it was fixed. Rob went above and beyond, working with both the town and O&R, to get my house ready to reconnect and get power back as fast as possible. Im definitely going to be calling him for any future electrical work I need done.

    Rob did a fantastic job upgrading my electrical panel after I had water damage due to a frozen water pipe. Rob was responsive, professional, courteous and detail oriented. As someone with high attention to detail and organization, it was great to work with someone like Rob who wanted to do a quality job at a fair price.     Rob did an exceptional job diagnosing deficiencies in my electrical panel and proposed an affordable solution to improve electrical load. I had to go with another electrician for work due to scheduling conflicts but was impressed by the detail oriented nature of diagnostics and general professionalism of Rob and team.     Rob and his team at Bright Ideas Electric Corp are among the most professional and honest electricians we’ve worked with. Rob took a look at the jobs we needed and really listened to what we needed and what I wanted. He gave us suggestions and different prices for each job and then we discussed which ones we needed first. They came in and did exactly what we asked for.     Robert and Matt couldn’t have more knowledgeable, courteous. They explained everything they did the three times they were here. As they did the job I had requested they showed me things that weren’t up to code. I elected to do them. The price was decent, I compared it to another job I had to have done and they were both the same. He seemed to be about 10% lower. I recommend him for a review and quote on what you would like him to do

    Rob came recommended to us by a co-worker to fix a problem with flickering lights in our house. Generally, Im not a fan of calling and talking to contractors, but Robs polite and personable manner put me at ease about the situation and we quickly set up an appointment to have him come check out our problem. When he arrived, Rob got right to work investigating the situation, but also initiated and engaged in light conversation, including with our 3-year old daughter, who was fascinated by Rob the fixing guy in our home. He was also willing to answer all of my noob questions regarding home electrics as well as suss out some other minor issues that I was concerned about around the house. When it was all said and done, Rob had solved our problem and we were happy to know who we would be calling if/when we have another electrical issue or project in the future.

    Rob was great throughout the whole process. He installed a dining room chandelier (77 lbs), three kitchen pendant lights, a new ceiling light, and a bathroom light fixture. All came out great, exactly as we wanted. Everything is aligned and level. I noticed he would double and triple check how high the lights were hung and made sure they were to our specifications. When one pendant light was slightly off, he took the time to adjust it.Rob is very professional and kind. He will listen to your questions and perform the work exactly as you specify. He has great attention to detail and you can tell that he wants things done the right way. We would absolutely hire him again and would highly recommend him.Thanks Rob!

    Rob is a truly gifted electrician. We called him to hang a chandelier, and 6 hours later he had not only hung the chandelier, but installed dimmers & timers in multiple locations, tested and replaced circuit breakers, added several wall outlets and very thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Rob is talented and willing to make his customer happy. We have already had Rob out for additional work, and will definitely call him again in the future.

    We used Bright Ideas a while ago for an electrical upgrade when we installed our hot tub. Excellent, quality work! More recently, I called Rob in a panic because the lights in my house were flickering. I am so grateful to him as he was willing to come by on hours notice and it turns out he didnt have to because the problem was coming from the pole on the outside. He is knowledgeable enough to advise me to call PSEG 1st and was wonderful when I called him 3 times that day...HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

    Great overall. Very responsive. We had a brownout on an underground, under the driveway, line. No AC no water no nothing. Rob was extremely knowledgeable, handled all interfacing with the city and the power company, and executed this job on time, professionally, and with great regard to customer needs. Given the difficulty and the quality of work, their pricing was very competitive. Will definitely use their services again❗️

    Very glad we reached out to Bright Ideas Electric Corp to come and deal with a wiring issue. While doing plumbing repairs, we found a electrical splice inside the wall behind the sink and other questionable wiring. The schedule was tight but Bright Ideas Electric Corp, got us in promptly to keep us on schedule. Rob was responsive to our concerns, very professional and we are thrilled with the results. Being in an old house, we will definitely reach out in the future as needs arise and will recommend Bright Ideas Electric Corp to friends.

    Rob installed two security cameras, a video doorbell, replaced an outdoor light, and ran power to the outside of our house. In addition to this, he found some issues with our wiring that other electricians didn’t pick up on. His work was immaculate and he and his partner left everything spotless. I highly recommend him!
