    Victor was very timely in his arrival to do a service on our furnace/air conditioner. We need a new coil to prevent water leaking through the heat exchange and rusting it out. He got a quote for us quickly and we were able to make an informed decision as he explained everything very well. He was professional, kind, courteous and polite.     Weve (our construction/remodel company) has been referring DR Heating and Plumbing (who we called by their old name Dougs Repair) to our customers based off of our other clients experiences and work we had seen them do when onsite for other work. They appeared to be excellent and had what we considered good pricing.Now, I myself have personally used their services and I think Victor (our technician) was fantastic. Furnace was fixed, I was educated, and the price was very appropriate (I would argue good even). This is the kind of company you call again and again. He never sold me on anything (Im aware it is old and will need replaced some day) but for now it performs and performs well. It became apparent that Victor is quite skilled and knowledgeable and that translated to a job well done.Strongly recommend DR H&P and Victor in particular. I will use them as a yearly maintenance/check service and any other service that comes up as well as any upgrades I want (like AC I stalled).Was on time and effecient too (good with my dogs) and clean.

I was impressed how he took care to move things out of the way to move the old unit out and the new unit in.I like that they have the feature to track when the repair guy will be there.

    We were very satisfied with the service that Dougs repair provided. Their Technician Jon did a great job. He installed an A/C unit, and a new hot water heater in a very short amount of time. He was very kind and respectful as he did his work, and did an excellent job cleaning up and making it look like he had never even been here. Our apartment is much cooler, and the shower stays hotter warmer. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

    This company is great, we have a boiler system for our heating... we called them at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon and Jon was here by 3:00 (we are an hour away from their office) he had our problem diagnosed and fixed by 5:30!     We just had our AC installed and I met with several companies (trying to beat the summer rush). I was most impressed with Dougā€™s Repair. Doug was the person who came and gave us our quote. I didnā€™t know Doug previous to this, but really felt he was trustworthy just after meeting him for the first time. Not only were they competitive with their pricing, but I felt like I could trust them. They were also the most responsive of any of the companies I contacted. I really like the scheduling system that they use to schedule the work and let you know when theyā€™ll be coming. I feel like they had my best interests in mind and that they take pride in and stand by their work. There were several other companies I met with that felt very ā€œsales-yā€ and gave me the impression that all they cared about was getting the most money out of me that they could. The technicians (John & Jason) are top notch. Dougā€™s needs to give them raises. šŸ™‚. I felt comfortable having them in my home and they were knowledgeable and thorough in the work they did. This is my first experience with Dougā€™s Repair and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

    We had the BEST experience with DR Heating and Plumbing! Morgan, the technician, went above and beyond for us. Not only showing up on time, even when I gave the incorrect address, but being so polite and friendly. We had an issue with the water heater we provided and instead of giving us grief he figured our a way to FIX IT so that there could be hot water ASAP. He stayed until 8pm, well past his end time, to make sure everything worked. I will recommend DR Heating and Plumbing to everyone, especially if they have more techs like Morgan!

    I had two other heating companies quote me a simple repair for double the cost of DR. One company told me that my whole furnace was unsafe and should not be used. They tried scare tactics to tell me I needed to buy a new furnace. Victor with DR was knew his stuff, didnt sell me anything I didnt need, fixed my problem, and checked everything out to make sure it was functioning properly and safely. I felt like I had a fair business transaction with DR, they provided a service at a reasonable rate. the other companies were all about up-selling and trying to get you to buy a new furnace.

    My water heater was dying about a month ago. The pilot light wouldnt stay lit, and eventually wouldnt light at all. I called around and DR was able to see me the same day.They diagnosed the problem, and recommended a replacement. They were able to replace the unit the same day, and I felt the price was fair.As it turns out, the unit shipped from the manufacturer with a faulty part. Things were running great until the gas company had to shut off my gas for a meter replacement. I called DR, and they came out and replaced the faulty part. They make the whole process very easy and very transparent when it comes to cost and any needed upgrades.

Chad was the lead on our closet-build project and was great to work with -- even did a few touch-up jobs around the house while waiting for his partner to arrive.     Jon was very professional and did a nice job on our a/c installation. Our communication with the office staff has also gone well. I appreciated the emails and texts confirming appointments and notifying me when he was on his way. In my dealings with them, I felt that the company is trustworthy. They left the job 98% complete and then took a couple of weeks to return to finish the job. But, they did come, finished up nicely, and all is well.

    My Furnace stopped working and I had called a couple different places that couldnt get me in for a couple days and Dougs repair got me in the very next day.     Ive used Dougs repair many times now and Doug has always been prompt and shown up when he said he would. He has always been able to quickly diagnose and repair any issues that Ive had.     They replaced our broken water heater and fixed a leaking toilet for us and did an excellent job. After the technician left (that night) we realized there was a problem with our toilet still and Dougā€™s repair returned our text quickly the next morning and set up a time to come back quickly.     Jon from dougs came out to help us with our furnace as we smelt gas leaking from it. It was on a Sunday and he was very quick and over in about 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem quickly and walked me through what he was doing and showed me where the leak was coming from. He was able to replace the part and get it fixed in about an hour. Very professional, upfront pricing and awesome service!! Highly recommend!

    I was having issues with an old furnace in my house. Dougs Repair was sent to my house by my home warranty company to look at the issue. The technician Jon ran some different test to see what was going on with the old relic. He isolated the problem got on the phone found the parts and had it all fix and back to working order with in a few hours. I also liked that they will text you when the technician is on their way.     We lost the ability to heat our home 3 days before Thanksgiving, the outside temps were in the low teens and the forcast was for single digits lows..we NEEDED heat. I called Dougs and got the last appointment of the day. Jon came out to fix our furnace. He determined the circuit board needed to be replaced, unfortunately he didnt have the correct one on his truck so he had to get us one. Early the next morning he was at the door with the new circuit board and 1 hour later our 40 degree house was being warmed with our new furnace circuit board! Thanks Jon! Now we can take off our long handles and stocking caps. Excellent job and quality work.

    Dougs Repair really came through for us. We sold a rental property, and as part of sale, home inspection revealed some legitimate issues that I reluctantly agreed to repair. Dougs Repair: 1)Beat the deadline; there was a tight deadline to do repairs before closing date, and Josh and Brandon with Dougs Repair, always with a smile, completed the job before the deadline. 2)Came in under cost! And I dont just mean they charged less than their bid, I mean they bid very reasonably, lower than most, and then charged even less. I literally reviewed my final invoice twice to make sure they charged me for everything. 3)Were very professional: Brandon and his crew were very polite, seemed to be very competent, and they were very careful to keep the place clean.

    Our rental unit in Rexburg needed a couple plumbing fixes to be complete before I left town. Dougs Repair came out even though they had a full schedule. In the process of making the fixes they discovered a water leak under the house. Water water everywhere. They managed to get extra help to the house, replaced the broken pipe, set fans running to dry under the house, and have a plan in place to monitor the job over the next week. With all this going on, Doug fixed the igniter on the gas fireplace as well. I was able to comfortably leave Rexburg knowing the house repairs were in good hands.
