    We recently used Jay the Builder for a few projects: gut and redo our master bathroom, remove a popcorn ceiling in the master bedroom, and refresh a half bath. It was a great experience from start to finish. Jay was professional and a pleasure to work with. He was helpful, had good ideas, and was always available to answer questions. He submitted a detailed bid and stuck to the budget and the timeline. His crew showed up on time and stayed until the work was done (and Kwame and Henry were so nice to our old dog.) And, most importantly, they did quality work. I’m happy with it all, especially the beautiful walk-in shower, but I think my favorite part may be the bathroom floor, and that’s because of Kwame’s attention to detail with the hexagonal tile (so many cuts!)     We have used Jay and his crew on 2 projects now. A master bath remodel and a front patio tile and support posts. Our experience was great on both occasions. Jay is super responsive, attentive to detail and very experienced. Very happy with the results and thier tile work is top shelf.

    We had a great experience working with Jay and his team on our half bath remodel! The bathroom looks great, and we appreciated Jay going shopping for materials with us and making great recommendations towards a design concept. In the middle of the work, the crew noticed that we didnt need to jack hammer the concrete to fix the toilet rough in since they could make it work as-is, so they let us know and saved us money. That kind of honesty is very appreciated! Jay also recommended a few additional things along the way (with no pressure), and he allowed us to add on a few minor handyman tasks throughout the effort. We would definitely use Jay again in the future!

    This was my first time hiring a GC to handle a remodel and were extremely happy we went with Jay and his crew. Jay was extremely responsive and detailed during the quote phase, and that attention carried through the entire project. He helped guide us in areas where we were unsure or just unknowledgeable and he never used those opportunities to try to get more money out of us. Jay and his crew are customer first and it was much appreciated. We love our new master bathroom and closet!

    I hired Jay and his team Domingo and Drey for interior walls to be painted with me providing the paint. Work was completed well within promised time frame and quality was just amazing. You cannot find better people that actually care about the results.I knew I would call upon Jay again and as luck would have it, I was met with a need to do so after I learned that my kitchen sink held up by a soap dispenser. I sent pictures to Jay in a panic and he responded immediately. He sent Harold to my house in less than an hour! Harold very funny and hard working man that quickly and efficiently fixed the issue. Jay also helped me install a new disposal and kitchen faucet.Please please please, I implore anyone that is looking for work to be done to consider Jay in highest regard.

    Jay and his crew remodeled a bathroom for us, and they did a beautiful job! I am very particular, and Jay made sure everything was to my satisfaction, even though he had other jobs going on. He assisted us with all aspects of the job, including the selection of floor and wall tiles, as well as paint and grout color. I look forward to working with Jay in the future when we remodel the kitchen!

    The most impressive part of our experience working with Jay the Builder was his communication skills. From start to finish, Jay was available 24/7 to answer all questions and address any concerns in a timely manner. Coming from a corporate background, I especially appreciate Jays professionalism, flexibility, and kindness. There is no perfect company or contractor; you can only hope, despite reviews, that all the stars align and things go as smoothly as possible.     After being basically abandoned by another contractor, Jay really came through for me. He took time to go with me to the Tile Shop to pick out the best tile for my backsplash project, which turned out beautifully. He always did what he said hed do when he said hed do it -- a rare quality in todays contractor! Quality work done efficiently and a friendly guy to boot. You wont go wrong with Jay!

    Jay renovated all three bathrooms, the kitchen, painted our house and ceilings, changed out all interior doors and replaced all baseboards. He did an excellent , professional job that everyone admires when they visit my house. His experienced was evidenced the varied recommendations that he was able to give us. Through conversation he immediately understood our style and vision and was able to guide our buying decisions. Jay knows the business and vendors in Dallas and has excellent taste. This can be seen with everything from the tile design, granite choices, fixture selection to paint colors. His attention to detail to ensure that rooms were finished was appreciated. For his level of expertise and experience his pricing was very competitive and I would would not hesitate to recommend him for any job.

    Jay and his team were professional, courteous and responsive. They care about their work and its quality. Not only does Jay take the feedback of his clients seriously, but he does not rest until they are fully satisfied. While remodeling our master bathroom, Jay was able to to coordinate re-tiling our kitchen floor and installing new backsplash at the same time. Jay is not just a builder. He has an eye for design and his input to that part of the process was really appreciated.
