    We had a great experience working with Seth from Christie Carpentry. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and the shelves were exactly what we wanted. Everyone we worked with throughout the process was professional and did a good job of explaining the process throughout. The cost was also very reasonable - would highly recommend !!!

    We have hired Seth for various interior/exterior carpentry repairs and to create a built-in bench in our kitchen. We are so happy with the work that he and his apprentice Layne have done! They were both courteous and professional, and did meticulous carpentry work both inside and outside of our house. We are especially pleased w/the kitchen bench. We had a vague idea of what we wanted, and Seth listened to our ideas and created an amazing looking built-in that fits the space and the idea I had in my head perfectly! We will definitely hire them again when we need more carpentry work done.

    Seth and his team are amazing. They beautifully constructed bookshelves, shelves for the laundry room and pantry. They also took on modifying my cabinet to make my new appliances fit. The professionalism and craftsmanship are excellent. Here are photos before finishing/paint.

    Seth and Layne did an absolutely superb job building wall-to-ceiling bookcases along an entire wall in my office, including a window seat with storage area. Their craftsmanship is excellent, and they are so nice to work with--responsive, timely, friendly! They clearly love the work they do, and they are focused on excellence. I am planning my next project for them!! The photo is of the finished and partially painted bookcases.

    We were super impressed by the skill and knowledge of Seth with Christie Carpentry. He was very prepared and sufficient. We had all new interior doors hung and all new base molding throughout the house. He also built a nice custom master closet that turned out great. We have referred our friends to him with confidence in his skilled labor. I highly recommend him to anyone needing quality work done right the first time.

    We hired Christie Carpentry to build and install a basement door in a home built in 1880 and Seth and Rick did a phenomenal job! The door is beautiful and sturdy, and fits the space perfectly! Both Seth and Rick were also a pleasure to work with and the work was very reasonably priced. We are looking forward to hiring them again for future projects. Highly recommend!     Seth Christie has been great to work with on our job. He was responsive to my initial call, provided a timely quote and has been quick to respond to questions.Seth and his crew do very good work, using quality materials that will last, and they are very nice and polite while completing the job. Seth also understands the importance of cleaning up all debris, especially the nails (with little kids that run around the yard) and made sure his crew took the time to pick up everything that fell when removing the old wood.Our job was soffit and fascia board replacement before gutters could be reinstalled. However, we needed painting completed before the install. Seth recommended Particular About Trim (Bob Miller). Although our job required flexibility to paint as soon as possible after the fascia and soffits were installed, Bob said he would do it and be flexible on timing, because Seth recommended him, and he wanted to help us minimize time without gutters. Once the carpentry work started, Seth said he would reach out to Bob to let him know we were a few days out from completion. It was helpful to have them in sync.While Seth and his team were working with tall ladders, we asked if they could help unbolt a 3rd floor air conditioner (which had been in place for 30-40 years). Seth was kind enough to have his team unbolt the air conditioner. Additionally, when the air conditioner was stuck firmly in place (despite working with several tools to remove it), Seth asked if they could help us. Although we initially declined the offer, we found it was required and Seth’s crew happily jumped in to provide support. Without Layne’s strength, we would not have been able to remove the air conditioning unit, so we greatly appreciated his willingness to help us!

    Since 2016 I have used Seths services on several properties of mine. From high end flips to renovate and rent, Seth has always provided me with the best service and highest quality. If you are looking for a cheap install, Christie Carpentry is not the company for you. However, if you are looking for top quality craftsmanship at a fair price... definitely reach out!

    Seth Christie is a true craftsman: its clear that he loves carpentry and that he possesses the skill and commitment to do his work extraordinarily well. We asked him to build a banister and handrails for our attic staircase. The finished product looks fantastic; it also seems sturdy enough to support The Hulk if need be. (Not that were expecting The Hulk to show up in our attic. But if he does, our bannister is ready.) Seth and his helper are as pleasant and attentive as they are professional. All around, a great experience!

    Seth Christie came when he said and gave us a quote. Put us on his calendar and did the work and completed in one day. He sent Rick the Carpenter and Rick repaired some wood trim around the outside of our home and inside. He did an excellent job. Cleaned everything up and it looked like he wasnt even there. Both Seth and Rick were a pleasure and I would use again.

    I have had a lot of contractors in my house over the last 2 decades and I have to say Christie carpentry is by far the best experience I have had.He is very meticulous, trustworthy and his work is perfect!I had the entire wood work outside my house done by them due to carpenter aunt damage and they built the surrounding wood to my from door custom. The furniture he builds is one of a kind, amazing.The trim work and custom wood work he can do is infinite.I am just amazed and would use them for any wood work project I have.I cant wait for November when he is scheduled to replace my stair steps and build me new kitchen cabinets!

    Layne installed a closet in our flex room to assist in converting it into a bedroom in July 2021. In short, his work was fantastic. He was meticulous, precise, and professional. He was always on time. He was timely in completing the project. He took time to provide us updates as the work progressed. He worked around our busy household without difficulty. Again, he was great. Also, as anyone in the Columbus metro area knows, its been nearly impossible to get a contractor to sign on to do work with all the shortages created by the pandemic. That wasnt the case with Layne and Christie Carpentry - they took on our project without delay, which was refreshing and a relief in of itself. I look forward to hiring Layne at Christie Carpentry for more remodeling work at our home in months to come. I recommend Layne and this company without reservation.

    Seth Christie and his talented carpentry crew recently completed a major exterior remodel of my garage with new gable siding, eave returns, soffit extension, crown modeling, louvered vent, and other trim details. My garage went from drab to awesome in quick order and now looks like a brand new and much improved garage!The guys at Christie Carpentry were always punctional, easy to communicate with, professional, polite, clean and respectful.     Seth is great! He was able to figure out a creative solution secure our bannister (which had been super shaky) and has done a few other projects around our house. He’s professional, responsive and does beautiful work! Highly recommend!

    I called Seth to take care of a problem I wasn’t able to solve. He came by on his lunch break, and quickly identified how to fix the problem, and was kind enough to tell me how I could fix it if I wanted to for much less than he would charge. This advice was very helpful and he even followed up later in the day to ensure I had a good understanding of how to finish it. I have several other houses that I will definitely reach out to Seth first and have his expertise to do all of the finish carpentry I need.

    Called Seth about my front wood door that was falling apart. He gave me a fair quote and because it was a safety concern got me into his schedule within 2 weeks. Very professional, fair pricing, and communicated the entire way through.

    Seth and his crew transformed our existing fireplace mantel into a stunning feature in our living room. Rather than start from scratch, I wanted the original, stained 1928 mantel to be incorporated into the finished product, and for the new surround to look as if it had always been there.They were meticulous about choosing coordinating trim and creating a design plan. Seth and his team were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The final result truly looks as if it is original to our home, and is exactly what I was looking for.     Seth and Layne repaired our screened-in porch and repaired our basement stairs. They did a great job for a very good price. Layne did great work and was very professional and courteous.Overall, Christie Carpentry does great work and well be coming back to them for future work.

    I hired Seth Christie to design build and install corner built in shelves for my kitchen. His craftsmanship was fantastic. He responded to my request timely and was able to get me exactly what I wanted from a picture I gave him. The experience I had was wonderful!     Seth did a beautiful job replacing our front porch pillars and replacing a lot trim on our home.Right away, Seth was very communicative and punctual. Not once did I have an issue of him not showing up or no responding to my text messages. I’ve worked with many contractors and this is the first one that never “no-showed” or didn’t reply for an extended amount of time. He’s simply a pleasure to work with. He worked with us while we indecisive with the look we wanted and always offered solid advice. 11/10. Will be working with Christie Carpentry again.
