    I had never ever met Bulent (founder of Daimon LLC) before working with him. At the end of my project with him, I think he may be one of the most responsive, trustworthy and competent person Ive met in my life.Im ultra sensitive to people sounds - people talking, TVs, music etc. I also dont like the feeling of being listened to when I noodling around on my guitar, since it affects the way I play and the relaxation I feel when I play.So sound ingress and egress mitigation are both key factors for me. This is airborne noise we are talking about. Reduction of impact noise (footsteps, etc) is a totally different area and wasnt a big oncern here.I recently bought an apt in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Nice living room but with a shared party wall with the next door apartment. Standing in the living room, I could clearly hear their conversation next door, as if the the wall was non existent.I researched sound mitigation obsessively, read all the relevant forums, and watched endless youtube videos. It turns out that that sound mitigation is a very niche field and the few players in this space prefer commercial projects (which is where the money is) and wont even respond to residential requests properly.There were about 5 sound companies I contacted in NYC (all found via google).1) The first one talked impatiently on the phone, quote a $18K figure and couldnt wait to get off the phone with me.2) The second did spend time talking but was a little scammy - wanted to use his *own* random brand of sheetrock as opposed to a proper name brand, even if I paid extra money for a name brand (QuietRock)3) Another company (with high ratings on yelp in Brooklyn) did not respone to multiple emails, phonecalls and voicemails (at all)4) Another referred me to someone else they knew, who then also did not respond to multiple emails as well (at all)Finally found Bulent/Daimon. He knew and used name brands (QuietRock, Greenglue, etc ) but at the same time was open to any other suggestions I had read about. He sounded educated and had a college/engineering background.He offered to try two different options to mitigate the sound - replace the existing wall or add another secondary wall and offered to explore both options for feasibility once he got to the apartment/construction site. He talked decibels and reductions levels and never over promised 100% sound proofing (only mitigation).Daimon ended up putting up an entirely new wall (the existing one didnt have the requisite supports) and matched the crown moldings on the new wall exactly to crown moldings on the rest of the apartment (which are from 50 years ago).And he did all this while I was in Europe. In fact, I only talked to him on the phone, paid him via credit card and had never even met him in person, until after the job was finished. He was super communicative with me while I was in Europe to ask/explain any options or choices that came up and get my ok.I was amazed when I got back - nicest piece of work Ive ever seen. The airborne noise from the adjacent stopped entirely.I was so happy with this outcome, that Ive just hired him to do phase two (flooring work) with him next week.What I love about all this is the right expectations, professionalism and honesty. Bulent sells realistic outcomes and then overdelivers on his promises. Also worth mentioning that his quoted prices are always in the middle of the curve. Sound mitigation is inherently expensive but his quotes (using brand name materials) come in right in the middle (not too high or low).Highly recommended.

    I highly recommend the expertise of Bulent Alagoz for his knowledge in the field of soundproofing (& all-around customer service skills.) During our many interactions on the phone/text/email & finally in person, he provided me w/enormous peace-of-mind during a stressful time. He always made the time & gave a complete step-by-step breakdown of what the project would entail, realistic expectations, length of time etc. He also accommodated me scheduling-wise. What left the biggest impression was his professionalism & honesty when speaking w/my tenant. Always transparent, he encouraged me that if I ever had any concerns/questions re: the process to Ask, Ask, Ask. Highly recommend his services!!! Great guy!!

    I just wrapped up a major soundproofing job (living room, hallway, & kitchen ceilings and couple of walls) with Bulent and his team, and Im incredibly satisfied with the work. It really is life changing!Prior to the job it felt like my neighbors baby was in my living room: I could hear crying through the stairwell walls and ceiling. I also heard every footstep and even the vacuum running against their floor. It was pretty bad.Thats all gone. Bulents solution is best in class and really eliminates the vast majority of noise from my neighbors.Prior to contracting this major job, I first did a smaller project with Bulent for my bedroom as a test. Based on that, I decided to expand to the whole place. Heres what I liked about working with Bulent and why I decided to do more work with him: Hes invested in the outcome and doing the job right. If he opens a wall or ceiling up and finds something unexpected, hell work with you right there to explain and then recommend the best solution based on reality. Hes committed to doing an excellent job rather than rushing to get it done. And even so, I felt the timeline he completed the work in was very appropriate for the amount of work. Additionally, his team is very respectful, does a good job of protecting the place, and cleans up.I should also note that I did a ton of research and talking to multiple contractors prior to engaging with Bulent and his team. About a years worth. Bulents solution is competitively priced and best in class.     I recently had soundproofing installed in my apartment and wanted to share my experience after three months to ensure the quality of the work. The project was managed by Bulent, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He assisted me in obtaining approval from my building management and even accompanied me to the Department of Buildings to gather the necessary information to satisfy all requirements.The installation process was exceptionally smooth. The team completed the project while we were away on a three-week vacation. When we returned, we found a beautifully finished new ceiling, and they had kindly returned all our furniture to its original position.The results have been outstanding. Weve experienced a significant reduction in noise—at least 80% less from upstairs, and we no longer hear any talking from above. Our environment is now wonderfully quiet, and we couldnt be happier with the outcome.I highly recommend their soundproofing services to anyone looking to improve their living conditions. Their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail are top-notch.

    We reached out the Daimon Soundproofing to see if they could help us with reducing impact noise coming from a neighboring unit in our condo. From the initial conversation, Bulent was incredibly thorough about helping us understand what kind of work needed to be done, the differences between airborne and impact sound transmission, and what the realistic expectations are for all of our options. Never once did we feel like he was overselling or anything besides patient with our questions.During the work itself, his team were incredibly efficient and conscientious about limiting the dust/dirt by sealing off the work area. They put a ton of effort into making sure even the little details are done correctly. Bulent came by every day to make sure everything was on schedule and make sure I didnt have any questions. I had even mentioned very early on to Bulent that wanted to re-mount my TV at the same location once the work was complete and the team already knew exactly where the mount was supposed to go and offered to re-install it for me.The effectiveness of the soundproofing was exactly as described and we are really happy with the results. Were much happier with the place now that we dont have to hear constant cabinet slamming from our neighbors.I would give Bulent and his whole team a very strong recommendation.

    We were having trouble with nearby highway noise (both speeding cars and trucks making a lot of noise). Bulent and Eddy have been so helpful to us from diagnosing where the sound was entering the house, to the installation of noise protection for our specific circumstance. We ended up with an addition to our current windows (an extra layer of operable windows with a high stc rating) and now the noise is gone. Thank you to the Daimon soundproofing team!

    Bulent was great to work with. I feared I might need a massive, costly project but Bulent came for a free consultation, took sound measurements and offered a much simpler, and cheaper solution. He squeezed my small project into his packed schedule (which I really appreciated) and he kept me updated on everything. His crew was also very nice, and professional.     We just moved to Brooklyn and have a new construction home which was unfortunately build only a few feet from our neighbors home making it such that every backyard conversation / porch conversation was part of our living room and master bedroom! We needed a solution and I did A LOT of research including white noise machines, window inserts, and soundproof windows like the ones Daimon Soundproofing offers.Of course the most effective solution is the most expensive(much better then other company ) - these sound proof windows were a very large investment for us and I was nervous. This review is for prospective customers to let you know, dont worry - it is well worth it. I am very happy with the product and service and when our budget permits, plan to install more. I have peace because of these windows - they not only look great but the sound proofing is simply life changing. I think I will finally be able to sleep and feel like we have privacy even though we are only a few feet from our very social neighbors.Communications/coordination with Bulent were super timely, responsive and clear to get things scheduled.Importantly, the install Cristan and crew were simply amazing - the crew was super punctual, kind and thorough. I asked for their business card because it was the first positive experience we had with contractors since moving to Brooklyn in May.

    I brought in the DAIMON company on 3 occasions.The first time concerned a problem with the insulation of party walls with noisy neighbors. The work on this part has been successfully completed, because I can hardly hear my neighbors anymore. I would like to point out that Mr. Bulent and his team have done a remarkable job. They were the only ones to move the cupboards, cupboards, gas pipes, so as to carry out effective insulation. Of course, all the moved objects were put back in place and neatly.I would like to point out that the other contractors contacted and who gave me quotes had not seen the problem of the trips to be made. Before choosing the DAIMON company, I received, over a period of 4 years, more than 20 entrepreneurs and none inspired me with confidence and competence.The second time I called on this company concerned the repair of the tiling in the bathroom and the installation of a new toilet. There, too, the works were carried out with seriousness and professionalism.Finally, the third intervention (December 2021) concerned the installation of an isophonic door at the entrance to my living room, because I heard a little noise coming from the corridor. I can say that I am very satisfied with this installation, because since then I have heard absolutely nothing, and I am now happy when I am at home, without any discomfort from my neighbors.It is for all these reasons that I recommend the DAIMON company.They can do practically everything. They deserve to be trusted.

    The party wall in my duplex was unusually thin and I could sometimes make out what my neighbors were saying even when they spoke at regular volume. Daimon LLC made my new home sonically inhabitable when I had no reason to expect that would be possible at an even remotely affordable price. The soundproofing is not perfect. I would say they solved my sound problem about 70% but my 100 year old home was constructed in an unusual way and Daimon LLC brought it up to what fees like normal 21st century standards, where theres still some sound but its not as oppressive.When I was shopping around the only other company that specialized in this kind of work in the NY metro area was called New York Soundproofing (though they mostly do sound absorption within rooms rather than sound blocking between rooms). This other company only offered the most heavy-duty solution, to build a new wall next to the existing wall, and their quote for that was prohibitive for me. To their credit, they recommended Daimon LLC even though they are competitors. Daimon LLC gave a quote for the medium-duty solution at one quarter of the price and Im glad I went with it.My only caveat is that, as with any contractor, I would advise clients not to make special requests unless absolutely necessary and to keep as close as possible to the companys standard protocols. I made some special requests that threw a wrench into things in unforeseen ways. Having said that, I can attest that Daimon LLC is an upstanding company and Bulent who runs the company is conscientious and goes above and beyond to maintain good communication. I would definitely hire them again in a similar situation.

    I cannot say enough good things about Bulent, Alagoz , and the rest of the team. We had our entire ceiling decoupled and the results are fantastic. The project was estimated to take 8 weeks and they were done in 4 and a half. Everyone was extremely professional, punctual, and friendly.
