    We had some outlets around our garage that weren’t working, so we called Cool Hand. They came out, quickly identified the issue, and presented us with clear options to get everything fixed. On top of that, I mentioned a laundry list of other improvements I wanted to tackle around the house. They took the time to break everything down, giving me the flexibility to either handle it all that day or spread the projects out over time.What really stood out was their professionalism and patience—they were even great with my energetic 2-year-old daughter, who kept things lively the whole time! Excellent service and a fantastic team. Highly recommend!

    Cool Hand Electric is a company that provides true pride of workmanship and excellent service. We recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.After experiencing a partial loss of power to our a/c units and half of our house right before 5 p.m. on a weekday, we called a local electrical company as well as one that is always advertising for fast, 24/7 service, only to be told by both companies that they could not help us until later the next day. Fortunately, we found Cool Hand Electric. Kristen answered the phone and immediately said that they could help us that evening. Blake came to help us within 90 minutes of my call, and Kristen was keeping me updated on when he would arrive the entire time in-between. Blake immediately diagnosed the problem, wrote up a detailed quote for the work, and completed the repair that night. We hired them to come back two days later to completely replace our old circuit breaker, modernize it, and bring it up to code.The entire crew (Blake, Daniel, Matthew, and Tory) that worked on our circuit breaker was professional and friendly and took great care to keep our house and garage clean. Rebecca called the next day to ask when it was convenient to schedule the city inspector, and on that day Luke showed up promptly to meet with him and make sure everything passed the inspection (it did). We were so impressed with their work that we hired Cool Hand to come back the next week and install a ceiling fan and new front porch lights. Tory came and did a fantastic job making sure everything worked well and looked great.We will not hesitate to hire Cool Hand Electric again for all of our electrical needs.

    Cool Hand is absolutely top-notch! While remodeling our kitchen, we needed to relocate an outlet for the refrigerator. They showed up within the promised time frame and kept us fully informed throughout the process. They didn’t just move the outlet—they took the time to walk us through various options to make sure we chose the best solution. On top of that, they conducted a safety inspection and found that our outdoor outlets weren’t weatherproof. Again, they provided clear options to address this issue. Plus, they provided an estimate to add some much-needed lighting in our pantry. Their attention to detail and exceptional service really sets them apart—highly recommend!

    I needed a ceiling fan replaced, so I reached out to Cool Hand Electric. My window was between 1-4. Tory Jackson was my technician and he stayed in contact with me up until my appointment time. This was helpful as I was at work. Tory came out and did a safety inspection, and explained everything to me in great detail. He was very understanding of my situation, and its always good to find someone relatable. I had questions thats he did not mind answering. He installed my ceiling fan, and cleaned up after. Torys communication and customer service was excellent, and I did appreciate his friendly and respectful manner especially after a long day at work.

    Tory and Daniel came out and very quickly assessed my electrical issue and did a thorough inspection to ensure everything else was up to code. Rebecca was also great to speak with over the phone and helped me to quickly get an appointment set up, she was even able to get Tory and Daniel to come out a little earlier than my original appointment time since they wrapped up another appointment earlier than expected. I look forward to working with them again!

    Cool hand electric was awesome to work with. Extremely professional and does quality work. We had an outlet installed for an outdoor TV and a large, 70 lb. crystal chandelier installed on our 20 foot ceiling.We have a couple other projects in the works and will be using Cool Hand Electric when the time comes to complete those as well.

    The electrician that came to my home, Clay, was very friendly, professional and polite! Not only did he install my new pool light and fix the wiring issues outside in extreme heat, but he took time to sweep my whole pool (It is drained for painting) to clean it so I could start painting as soon as he left. That is ABOVE and BEYOND what he needed to do and I am very grateful! To find a knowledgeable electrician is great, but to find one who CARES about people is a blessing!     I was very nervous about calling an electrician for a need I had. I wanted someone who had a good rating with BBB and someone insured. They responded super quick from an online inquiry. He inspected, provided options, educated me and performed the work all within 3 hours. I was very nervous about the cost, but loved that I was provided options.     Called this company to troubleshoot an issue with my electric. I was able to get a next day appointment which was great. They sent out Clay and Im glad they did. I explained what we were experiencing & he got to work troubleshooting. I followed him through the process, he was great at explaining it & answering my many questions. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He presented me with varied options based on the troubleshooting and didnt try to include any kind of upselling which I really appreciated. I really feel like he was interested in the best fix that fit our situation without breaking the bank. I think its great this company employs Veterans as well and also has a steady donation program to a great cause. They are our go-to electricians from now on. Highly recommend them.

    Shiloh and Matthew did an excellent job. They are very professional and personable. Shiloh solved a problem that two previous electric companies did not. He explained his findings and his approch to reapiring mymy wiring. Shiloh restored power to my entire house. They didnt leave a shred of dirt or debris behind.     Luke and his wife were a blessing in disguise. My 360 Photo Booth Power cord shorted out and my booth had no power.     Job done: replace circuit breaker panel.Quickly responded to my initial inquiry after I found CoolHand Electric through the Good Contractors List. Office staff and technicians very courteous and professional. They send a picture of their technician before they come! Their initial service call cost is higher than some others. but well worth it. They were very thorough in checking out everything that could be issues, finding those that were and noting things that were in good order. Worked up a comprehensive estimate with multiple levels, from basic make it safe to meet code requirements (house built in 1975), up through comprehensive upgrade options. We chose a middle path and they worked with us on the upgrades that mattered most to us and did not push other non-essentials. A fair price for the work done, as compared with another bid.Shiloh and Matt were fantastic to work with when they got on the job, working steadily. They gave extra time needed to get an old fixture working correctly. We appreciated them so much we decided to go with an annual contract and will use them for our electrical needs (like fixture installation) in the future.Highly recommended!

    Shiloh and Matt did a fantastic job with our home. We had a combination of safety upgrades and convivence work done, including dedicated circuits , whole house surge protection, can-light installation, generator switch, vent fan work, GFCI upgrades, fan/light re-wires and more. The team were able to find several fire hazards that had gone unnoticed, even by the home inspector a few years ago.The staff were all exceptionally courteous and professional. As an avid negotiator and shopper ( and cheap suburban dad), I found that Cool Hand Electric does offer the best value around. Top marks for the entire team- even the folks who take the calls in the office!I feel confident that the electrical health of our home is in exceptional condition due to the in-depth safety checks (and fixes) that this company did for us.
