Derek, thank you so much for tackling a challenge outside your wheelhouse.Through a serendipitous chain of events, I found Pro Tech Electrical (Derek) on Nextdoor and knew he was the right man for the job after searching for and viewing his Google reviews. A particular review highlighted his determination to figure it out. And, yes, that is what he did!For over a year, I have struggled with my garage door. The installer could not figure it out and told me to hire an electrician to re-run the wire for the green sensor. I tapped that NextDoor App, and at the top of the feed was Dereks number with the caption Got the job done! He was understandably hesitant at first--why would I need an electrician for a garage door; but he entertained me. He came over and employed a healthy dose of curiosity and intuition, fixed it without having to re-run wires, then explained what seemed to be a rather simple fix (side-eye to the installer)--Boss!

Derrick help me out at my mother-in-law to solve a problem that I pull hairs out about and he did such a good job. His pricing was straightforward no hidden cost the next day I got him to do something in my house and it was the same way he came in he made his assessment, told me what it was going to cost even when I thought it was a little harder than what he expected his price stays the same he didn’t give me an excuse to go up on the cost of his work.And my wife was happy “what matters the most”good job man thank you againThis is the guy everyone needs to get

This guy is a hell of an electrician. Very professional as well. Showed up on time with minimum breaks, and got the job done within a few hours. He followed up days later, still making sure everything was good and of course it was. Very professional, hard worker, knows his job.

Great job. very professional. Some people think electricians just replace breakers and hook up ceiling fans... That may be the case for electricians who cherry-pick the easy jobs. Derek isn’t intimidated by the jobs that require a little more troubleshooting. Call him for anything related to electrical work, big or small.I was maintenance supervisor when I called him most often. When I called for help, he knew it something tricky or tedious. He still came out every time when other companies didn’t want to.
